Easiest and simplest process ever encountered. It was more difficult buying a car.

We had a unique remortgage and was advised to take a RIO, which meet our requirements. Unfortunately we had to terminate our continuation with this company as the advice and recommendations seemed slightly strange and antiquated. We had some credit card debt which was interest free until 2021, we were told we would have to pay the balances off, this was not an issue as we had inherited some assets. We were told by the advisor we could not sell an asset to pay off credit card debt, yes your reading this correct. Myself and others have never heard of this laughable rule. They also advised we should transfer half the credit card debt, which is interest free to our new mortgage thus, paying interest on it. This is obviously not good advice, I intend to seek further clarification from the ombudsman on this but if you do intend to use this company please be extremely careful on what they propose. We have now used another financial advisor and are using the same lender, Hodg and have not been requested to do any of the above. Steve Johnson

Fantastic help from Peter Wallace. We could not have received a better service from such a professional advisor in terms of easy accessibility and patience at times of concern. Peter went over and above our expectations.

I was a bit apprehensive at first but the adviser came to my home and explained everything clearly. There was no pushing us into making a quick decision and after the different options were shown to me I was asked what my priorities were and reason for equity release. From all the information given we were able to identify for ourselves which was the best option for our circumstances. The paperwork was easy to complete. Once the property was valued and offer made a solicitor visited and talked us through the legal documents before we signed them. We felt comfortable all through the process.

Equity Release Is complex and we didn't have a clue. The five stars were earned by the advisor James Sudworth who guided us through the whole thing with clear explanations of benefits and possible pitfalls. Communication were excellent and the whole thing was expedited very quickly.

All the options were clearly explained including advantages and disadvantages of each. We felt confident that we were being given genuine unbiased advice and we are totally satisfied with the service.

I am writing this on behalf of Mrs Carol Smith, my mother met with Ian Kinniburgh back in November 2018 to release some monies from her property via an equity release. During July 2019 she received her money after 9 months of anguish. This wasn't Ian's fault, but a culmination of obstacles that was placed in my mother's way. Our local council was the first hurdle having to get my father's name taken off the deeds as he had passed away in 2017. Then issues with solicitors and then Aviva who charged twice for a mortgage quote, their reasoning was the first quote had expired due to the wait that was nothing to do with my mother. Nice company preying on a vulnerable recently widowed pensioner, but hey I can sleep at night. Anyway back to therightequityrelease, if it wasn't for Ian we would still be going round in circles. On our behalf he spoke to Aviva and both solicitors to finally get my mother's equity released.
