Beware of preferential treatment by theâŠ
Beware of preferential treatment by the staff. Went to the Wizard of Oz. Waited in a line for more than five minutes to use a photo kiosk, only to be denied when I was finally at the kiosk. There were several people in front of me who were using the kiosk multiple times in a row. If you havenât been to the Sphere - the kiosks are designed for a single use, choosing one of 3 background options - then after the photo - it reverts back to the main page for the next person to use. I get that the employees are trying to get the guests out in a timely manner. To me - the employee - Anthony V - should have advised the guests using the kiosk multiple times, to step out of line and get back in if they wanted to get photos using all 3 backgrounds. He just allowed all the people in front of me to take multiples, then cut me off from even being able to use the kiosk. He insisted that there were kiosks downstairs - but as I stated - they need to get guests out of the areas for the next showing. By the time we got downstairs - all the kiosks were programmed to the Home Screen and unusable. For the amount of money that we spent on tickets, food, and merchandise - to be denied a use of the photo kiosk when I was literally the last person in line and the kiosk still usable - is very despicable. The whole incident felt a bit racial being that the Latino employee allowed several black and latino guests to use the kiosk multiple times in a row - not saying anything to them about their multiple uses without exiting the line and allowing the next guest to get a photo - but as soon as the white person and his child got to the kiosk - it was then off limits. Iâll spend my money elsewhere.
