Having ordered some samples of wallpaper on July 18th, sadly haven't recieved them on August 3rd. Spoke with a sales person a week ago who assured me they were being dispatched that day, spoke to same women today and told they were not sent. At no time did anyone update me on progress and quite abrupt on the telephone with me when I questioned where samples were. Sadly I will not be dealing with this company and have requested a refund. to be honest I felt she couldn't have cared less, terrible customer service!

Efficient and reactive, the customer services team helped me enormously with my order of the Grande oak fireplace surround. When we hit a snag due to a structural issue with the frame, they sorted out the problem immediately and I’ve now been left with a beautiful new surround - I’m very happy! Thank you again Emma!

Great experience working with Emma at Victorian Emporium for the first time.

We required cast iron radiator samples complete with valves, stays etc and she put everything together.

Costs including postage were made crystal clear and delivery was on time with no extra charges.

Completely satisfied with first dealings and will have no hesitation in placing a larger order soon. Thank you.

I haven't submitted a review for any company good or bad before but I feel like I need to here. I ordered 2 lengths of timber cornice from The Victorian emporium. They arrived badly protected in wrapping and had multiple dents along the edges which I'd have to fill and sculp back to the profile.
I immediately emailed them stating what the problem is and that I would have to repair. This is how the conversation went -
Good afternoon,

I have just received my order from you 2 x lengths of cornice. I was upstairs spray painting so didn't hear the delivery and found it leaning up against wall when I came downstairs.
It has obviously been chucked around by couriers as there are multiple dents along the edges which I have now have to fill and make good. Just bringing this to your attention as better packaging I think would of helped this.

And that was it! No reply back. No care, no way of rectifying, just brush off and bye bye.
After reading other reviews about her rude, dismissed manner I regret buying from them.
Before I received these I phoned up asking about delivery times and even then her manner was abruot and rude. How they've gone on is beyond me.

Terrible customer service. The worst I’ve ever experienced. And I’m a Virgin broadband customer.

Emma the proprietor seems to have ‘the customer is always wrong’ as her ethos.
She was super dismissive on the phone and email when I was asking about delivery times for a cast iron bath whilst trying to navigate a complicated bathroom renovation.
So unbelievably rude I couldn’t quite believe it.

As with many of the negative reviews here my experience of Emma and therefore her company left a really bad taste in the mouth.

She is clearly not suited to a customer facing role with her bedside manner reminiscent of Basil Fawlty mixed with the humility of David Brent on a bad day.

I’m sure she will once again demonstrate her defensiveness with a reply to this message and somehow explain away her passive aggression and dismissive communication style.

If you have the patience of a saint and promise not to have any questions about your order then Victorian Emporium is the place for you.

Ordered special radiator and valves.

Emma the owner was very helpful.

Gave some useful advice when ordering about valve sizing and order times.

When a wooden radiator valve handle was found to have a dent upon arrival, she sent a replacement out straight away.

Radiator arrived on exact chosen day as needed help to lift from pallet into house.

Would definitely order from her again.

Excellent colour - well made lampshade - just what I expected. Fabulous.

Lovely Victorian Corbel which is an exact copy of the original. Delivered by hand from the manufacturer - expensive delivery cost but worth it.

The Victorian Emporium sourced the perfect carpet for our Grade 2 listed property. Now fitted and looks really good. Despite challenges on lead times and delivery the company were open and honest in communication

Product arrived well packaged and as described but the postage took a lot longer than stated on the webpage. I contacted the company who replied straight away for the delay and it was dispatched

Only ordered some samples but they arrived promptly and were great quality! Definitely will be ordering the tiles from them!

Ordered came earlier than I expected. Absolutley love the kitchen door knobs. Good quality and quite heavy.

Once again we turned to the Victorian Emporium for a top quality wall paper and weren’t disappointed. The website is terrific and they feature a superb range of merchandise to fulfill every decorative need. Their service was prompt and accurate as anticipated. I wish we had more projects!

Delivery charges are way over the top.

Ordered some deco victorian close tiles...arrived and seem like good quality and as shown on website...was a bit of confusion ref delivery as didnt get email saying it was delivered until 2 weeks after but was sorted efficiently by Emma who was really helpful. All in all will recommend + use again

Found exactly what I was looking for to help with renovating my 1880’s Victorian home. Shipping was quick and items arrived in good condition
EDIT: I should add, that I am in the USA, and shipping was as quick or quicker than I often get from companies here.
