AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Purchased a Fox EOS 1 man bivvy, was missing the pole for the pram/front shelter and they then said this doesnt require a pole and after I then sent numerous pictures they said would you like us to contact the manufacturer and get a spare, well of course I would, after just spending £220 on the bivvy in the first place and it not coming complete what a stupid thing to say.

I bought it direct from you not Fox but I wish I just went to a shop to order as there is so much faffing about with them to confirm things.

This has gone on for a week waiting for this to be sorted as they only repsond within a 24 hour period, the company has no sense of urgency and no reassurance this will be sent or when it will be sent.

The fact they dont have a telephone number says a lot about the way they work, I wouldnt recommend using them at all!!!

I purchased a new Toslon bait boat and


I purchased a new Toslon bait boat and some issues when first setting it up.
I called the shop and unfortunately Andy was on leave but they promised to call back on Thursday when he would be back. I was sceptic as I was travelling to France on the Friday. Sure enough 0910 phone call as promised.
After some over the phone diagnosis he asked if I could bring it back to the shop.
I was fortunate enough to visit them in the afternoon. All the staff were really friendly and very helpful.
Andy took the boat and 2 hours later all done and fully working. Some dodgy handling on the couriers part dislodged a few plugs.
Cannot fault the customer support. 45 minutes after filling a customer contact form out the shop called me and from that the all repaired and checked. Spot on.
A big thank you to you all, and I appreciate you helping out to ensure my trip goes to plan.
Keep up the good work.

I used to use these guys


I used to use these guys consistently,constant orders normaly fast and efficient. Now 2 years on delivery times are slow normaly having to email to get it sent. Recommended people for them to have the same problem, disappointing! Guess I'll go back to angling direct from now on

Terrible customer services

Ordered a new wheel barrow, delivered but broken. Tried to message on what’s app as no phone number to contact. Replying within minutes saying they will send out a “screw” when that wouldn’t solve the problem. When I asked for a phone call, no reply!! Have now drove hour there and hour back on my day off, no apology or gesture!! This is my second order on an expensive item that’s broken, my bed chair came broken and had to drive there! Total of 4 hours of driving on my diesel!!!! Terrible customer services!!

Further to our response following your visit to the shop on Monday, I would like to reiterate the following:

We did apologise when you arrived and explained the issue, and we yalso personally apologised while you were taking your barrow to your car—both for the damage caused during delivery and for what you felt was a breakdown in communication regarding your request for a callback.

As explained at the time, we aim to respond to all messages within 24 hours. My colleague Page picked up your initial message that morning and, due to its timing, was able to respond quickly. However, there were other messages and callback requests ahead in the queue. Before she had the opportunity to follow up further, you had already sent multiple additional messages—ranging from requesting a call to informing us you were on your way—followed by another message shortly after.

As you saw upon arrival, the shop was particularly busy due to the bank holiday, with several staff assisting customers in-store. This understandably impacted response times, as most team members (aside from myself) were engaged on the shop floor. Nonetheless, we would have responded as soon as we were able.

Please also note that our system organises messages by the most recent timestamp. As a result, repeated messages can inadvertently delay a response, as they move the enquiry further down the queue.

Once again, we sincerely apologise that your barrow arrived damaged. However, we replaced it as quickly and efficiently as possible upon your arrival.

I can see why they don’t have any phone numbers to call, I’d give them no stars if possible as 1 feels very generous.

Total dissatisfaction with the service I have received following a recent order placed with Total Fishing Tackle.

This was a significant purchase for us, totalling in excess of £1,000, and as such, we expected a level of service and communication that reflected the value of the order. Unfortunately, this has not been the case.

After placing the order on Saturday evening and paying for next-day delivery, we received and automated initial communication to confirm that the order had been processed or transferred to the warehouse for dispatch. Following this, there was a complete lack of any meaningful update.

Over the course of several days, we made multiple attempts to contact the company through all available channels to obtain an update or estimated delivery timeframe. Disappointingly, there appears to be no direct contact number, and none of our enquiries received a response. This lack of accessibility and customer support is extremely concerning, particularly given the value of the order.

It was not until Tuesday evening that we finally received any form of update, at which point we were informed that the items had been dispatched. This falls well short of the next-day delivery service that we had paid for, and the absence of communication throughout the process only added to the frustration.

At no point were we proactively informed of delays, nor given the opportunity to rearrange delivery or cancel the order if the agreed timescales could not be met. This level of service is, in our view, wholly unacceptable.

For a company operating in this space, particularly handling high-value orders, clear communication and reliable delivery commitments are essential. Regrettably, this experience has not met even the most basic expectations.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve both communication processes and customer service standards going forward.

Mislead about having stock when ordering

EDIT: To give them credit, the customer service people I dealt with were very good.

Ordered a rod from them at the Doncaster carp show. Was told it would be with me before the end of the week. Received an email on the Monday telling me that what I'd actually been sold was a pre order and they have no idea when it will be delivered.
Not got to wait days for a refund and won't have the rod when needed.

I ordered 3 rods 6 days ago

I ordered 3 rods 6 days ago, and they are still showing as processing. I am going to France in two days' time and would like to take the rods, so I emailed this morning to be told they will hopefully be dispatched in the next couple of days, which is over a week after I ordered them.
I ordered a bait boat from them last year on next-day delivery, but this took over a week to arrive.
I am not impressed.
