I have not received any information on my booking & it does not exist on their website but they’ve taken my money. No phone numbers work & emails bounce back. Do NOT use this company.

I booked a flight in 2019 for my daughter to travel from Uganda to Zanzibar. The first airline changed the first leg of the flight so that it would arrive after the second flight departed. I was called by Elvaria of Telegenio who said the whole booking was cancelled. I went online and booked another flight going first to Kilimanjaro and then onto Zanzibar. This resulted in my daughter being booked twice on the return flight. Elvaria did not accept responsibility, she never offered us and alternative flight and asked why I rebooked (she had told me the whole booking was cancelled) I never did get the money back for the duplicate flight which was not my mistake

I found flights through skyscanner and picked the option to book through travelgenio. I had a confirmation payment screen with reference number 18709665 and my money has been taken.

However, I have recieved no confirmation email and my attempts to contact them have failed as their email bounces back and their UK phone number is not active.

Is this is total scam? If so who do i report mu missing money to?

I've been trying to contact Travelgenio for 2 weeks now regarding my connecting flights that, due to change of departure time of the first flight, will be impossible for us to catch. We have to change the time of our flight to a later hour but there is no one we can speak to about it as the UK phone number is not working. After sending many emails, no one has gotten back to us either. Absolutely appalling customer service, or in fact NO customer service at all. The airline told us to contact Travelgenio directly to resolve the issue but this has been impossible. They will take your money but won't do anything else to assist in case there is an issue...

I booked my flights with Travelgenio in December 2020. Due to pandemic they cancelled the flights in January 2021. The link provided directed me to the site saying my refund will be processed in 12 - 14 weeks!!!! I still waited patiently and now it’s already been so many weeks up!! I have been trying to reach them forever but no use. What kind of travel agency is this and why no one is taking any action against them despite so many complaints? I am a student and I have to travel back home, what am I supposed to do with limited resources? Such a shame for what they are doing to people !!

Booked flights with them and 3 hours after the payment I still didn't receive any confirmation to my email.

After 30 minutes waiting for an agent to help me in their landline they said the payment went thru but they didn't book my seats with Iberia.

No emails to confirm the prebooking or the payment, nothing.

I've been told they would process my refund ASAP but after seen the reviews here I don't trust on them and will manage this as fraud with my bank and the police.

DON'T TRADE WITH THIS THIEVES!

l have been sending emails for more than one year. I am still waiting for my refund for the cancellation of the flight by the flight company; Should i send a legal letter to get my money back after more than one year?

Advice for any UK-based people who have been screwed over by these crooks, this is how I got my money back from them:

You can lodge a small-claims court action against them using the government website, it costs just £35 and you get the money back if you win (which of course you will, these guys are scammers). It takes a minimal amount of time and you just need their address and a couple of other bits of info which you can get off the companies house website (care of Grant Thornton I think).

You then just explain that they're not giving you your money back despite the flights being cancelled etc and the judge should rule in your favour (they did with me at least). I got paid back in full.

DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT, TAKE ACTION, The legal system is on your side!

Bought tickets through travelgenio. Flights got cancelled. Airline informed travelgenio well in advance but Travelgenio failed to inform me.
They did not even give me a full refund

I wish I could give less then 1 star!!! They don’t even deserve that!
I don’t have to explain to everyone what these scammers are trying to do but I have wrote email after email, review after review and get the same comments as everyone else does on there review.
I have been in contact with Qantas and they assured me that travel genio have been refunded in full therefore all of us should be refunded in full! I even have a confirmation email with all the details from Qantas that I forwarded in the email to travel genio... instead of commenting on this post travel genio why don’t you email me back so we can settle this refund instead of beating everyone around the bush for a long time hoping they will give up!!!!! Do the right thing in this pandemic you SCAMMERS!!!!!! I have heard of a couple of lucky people (not many) finally getting a refund after over a year of trying so everyone DO NOT GIVE UP!

I contacted you to rebook a cancelled flight for which I received a voucher. I rebooked on Monday and I washed to pay Euro 55 which I paid in full. I never got a ticket. I follow up two days later and you’re sending me a quote for Euro 411??????
What is the meaning of this?
I’ve only been receiving loads of emails of course because none of your numbers work and I’m unable to speak with anyone.
This is tremendously ridiculous.

I'm going to do a lot of negative reviews about the company. As many times as I can. They play on top of the airline, they don't answer you, the same messages forever, I'll stay here, telling the others: don't plan any trip with them. You're going to be in the loss.

This is the worst company to ever book flights with - avoid, avoid, avoid. I booked flights to Colombia last year in January and I still haven't received a proper update or any type of compensation nor the refund I am entitled to. I keep emailing their generic customer service email (which they tell you to email in every single comment down below) and follow the link they send but this completely futile as it just says:

"The ticket you previously created with your request is already being processed. If you have any additional information to provide, please wait for us to contact you."

I have now received that response a million times yet nothing changes. I have also checked the 'status' of my refund which states that they're 'waiting for airline approval'. MY FLIGHTS WERE CANCELLED IN APRIL - surely by now they should have gotten the approval by now. I have been incredibly patient with them but this is complete joke. Will tell everyone to never book this company and will also be writing to my contacts at the press. Cheers for reading.

Do not use this company just to save a little money.
My flights were cancelled in March 2020 and have yet to get a reclaim. It is impossible to talk to a human being and are using the pandemic has a get out clause to answer any mails or call. You have to dial a premium rate number to dial and then asks you submit your reference number for which i have letters in the reference so will not recognise it.
It is worth paying a little extra and going through the airlines.
I gave it a 1 star as i cannot put a zero star.

I have tried again via the email address that you sent.

As stated in the original message' the booking reference I have contains letters and not 8 digits hence the mail gets returned yet again.
Why I just cannot speak to a human without putting in a reference I don't have is truly amazing so I stand by my original review of this poor service

Still not heard anything and stand by my original statement, do not use this company.

Plus d'un an que nous avons payé notre billet d'avion retour Katmandou - Paris, un vol qui a été annulé, et nous n'avons toujours pas été remboursé!!!
C'est un scandale, où est la protection des consommateurs ???
On paye des vols qui n'ont pas lieu et nous ne sommes pas remboursés !
J'exige un remboursement immédiat, je suis fatiguée de mes relances par mail, téléphone, avis.......
Merci de faire votre travail de professionnels.
Je déconseille fortement cette plateforme, prenez vos billets d'avion directement sur les sites de la compagnie aérienne, et jamais pas travelgenio ce sont des voleurs.

REF 17579923 £653.46 flight was cancelled, nobody informed us when you try and get feedback they send you a link, no real update whatsoever. Norwegian do not take 12weeks to refund which has been confirmed so why am i still waiting. I should get the full amount back no question. Do not reply with email customer service as all you get back is an email with a link telling you your waiting on the airline. B.S.

Don’t book any flight with them
They didn’t refund my ticket from last march until now all the time they give me email and when i sent email they reply to me you didn’t boom any ticket

Got my refund for my ticket after airline had scheduled our flight. However I was so disappointed because they have taken 30 Euro for each ticket for the cancelation fees although it was not our fault. I have to be fair and give a goof feedback with 4 star.
I would have giving 10 stars if they didn't get a cancelation fee.
