Really dodgy company -- I suggest you avoid

I sent in three high-end items that were in great condition. It took them 2 weeks to get back to me to claim NONE of the items could be sold, including a brand new high-end designer dress because that particular label is not on their list. I asked them to simply send my goods back to me and agreed to pay the rip-off £9.95 fee to do this. They ignored my request. I emailed them a second time to ask when they're sending my items back to me -- radio silence again. If they don't send back my items, they'll be receiving a County Court Summons from me. I'm reading reports here on Trustpilot of them never sending people's clothes back to them and effectively stealing/defrauding. Thoroughly disreputable company. Avoid.

A Twicely rep has replied to my review but unfortunately he seems to have confused me with a different customer he ripped off! I didn't send any Wallis or ASOS clothes. It's interesting that this individual is able to reply almost INSTANTLY to a negative review, but has been ignoring my emails to him, asking for my clothes to be returned, for several days now. My review of this company stands. They are very dodgy and should be avoided!

It's interesting that this individual has time to reply instantly to negative feedback on Trustpilot but is not replying to emails. I have emailed him --- TWICE -- asking for my clothes back. He has not responded to either of my email. Next step, unless he replies to my emails and sends me the Paypal link today -- is negative reviews on all social media platforms and a County Court Summons for the value of my clothes.

I am very impressed with the professionalism at Twicely. It is really no hassle way of selling your quality pieces and the communication is great.

A great alternative to Ebay for items still brand new with tags and boxes. If you are having a big clear out they send you a bag and pay postage then review and price each item. Found this a great alternative for shoes especially as difficult to sell on ebay. And convenient in they manage everything and no items clutting the house whilst they sell.
Always had promot payment and whenever i have contacted communication has been quick and clear. Have sent 3 bags so far and would definetely use again for designer items. Good to have different options to sell unwanted clothes etc and make some money back

Fantastic company if you want to clear out designer items that are in excellent condition. If you follow their guide they send, it's pretty simple and stress free. No haggling at Carboot sales or the annoyance of non payers on eBay. Would definitely use Twicely again. Thanks.

Where's minus 5 when you need it! Totally untrustworthy company. Took my stuff. Didn't pay a penny as, apparently, smelt of food! I never cook in my flat! Asked me to pay for them to send it back to me. Awful company. Run away! Better chance to sell on eBay.

I've sent clothes to Twicely a few times and I have always been blown away with the service I receive. It is free to send your clothes to them and it is so easy and convenient! If I was to sell my clothes on Ebay I would possibly get more but Twicely just takes away all the hassle and stress. They pay quickly and ALWAYS give great customer service.

Twicely is an easy alternative to eBay and they sell your things quickly as they only stock good quality second-hand clothing. It was all easy to do - they send you a bag which you return free of charge, and then they list and sell everything for you and send you the cash! It’s a clever service that’s easy to use!

It is interesting to read reviews from customers with the same very poor experience as myself. I too, have been blocked from their website after posting honest and factual reviews about the level of service they provided. They are now refusing to answer any emails which I send, despite owing me money and still retaining an expensive item of mine.
As a consignment customer I had to prompt the company about six late payments of monies which they owed to me. Twicely's own website states that they regularly review the price of consignment items over a three month period, so that the customer doesn't have to do anything. After six months I had to contact them to enquire about the non sale of a bag of mine, which they had valued at well over a hundred pounds, but had never reviewed the pricing of in order to gain a sale. They offered to return the bag but did not address my concerns about why they had not followed their own policy, or offer any explanation as to how they could effectively manage the sale of the bag. When I pointed out that this did not really address the poor customer service I had received they removed the bag from sale and refused to engage in any further correspondence with me.
They now owe me money for items of mine which they have sold and also retain an item which they valued at over a hundred pounds. I seem to have lost a great deal of money to them.

It is also interesting to note the quick response to a negative review, when my email contact was ignored. Reducing the bag by 30% was not offered. A random set of prices was suggested, without providing any coherent and efficient plan of how to sell my bag, with a refusal to explain why Twicely had not followed their own published policy in the first place.

I have just started to use Twicely after having a bit of a clear out. The bag was sent out really quickly, and the whole process was really quick and simple. The prices for my items were very fair and the communication was great. I can't recommend highly enough! Plus, they have some great items for sale as well!

Twicely is an excellent company. I recently found myself with lots of ladies & kids clothes to sell, but without the time or computer know-how to do it online. A friend of mine recommended Twicely: A free website that will sell your clothes for you and send you back the money. Perfect! The website is very professional but also simple and easy to use. All of my items sold and the payment came really quickly. I have gone on to sell several more times with my friends and Twicely are always happy to help me with any new questions, via customer support & Facebook. When I’ve excitedly told other people about it, they have often said: “Could you just sell them on eBay and make more money?” Maybe yes. But when you use Twicely, there is no confusion, uncertainty and hassle, allowing you to go off and do nice things without the worry. I highly recommend Twicely and encourage all of you to start selling!

This is a great alternative to eBay and even better than taking clothes to the charity shop as you earn money without having to do any work. It's free to do which is a win for me, they sell them and send me the money! Customer service has been great and the money is paid quickly. A great incentive to clear some space in the wardrobe!

I don’t usually write reviews but after such a stress free, pleasant experience in turning old clothing into money, I had to share my experience and thoughts to anyone who might want to make a bit of extra money.
A friend told me about this website after making enough money to go on a mini break after having a wardrobe mega clear out (granted she has a lot of clothes) and selling them on Twicely at twicely.co.uk. Knowing my friend has a lot of clothes I didn’t realise how much money I could make from doing so little. Previously having taken my clothes to charity shops or if I could be bothered I used EBay. More often than not there were issues such as non-payment, geting stressed listing each item or I would miscalculate postage etc. The whole process put me off after receiving a bad feedback for an item being delivered a day late through no fault of my own. So, I thought I would give it ago as my friend assured me I would have very little to do and that Twicely did all the work. She wasn’t wrong. I have used them several times now and am really pleased. My mum and sister have both been happy with the results as well. My mum is even more happy as she was a regular EBay seller to make a bit of extra money (pensions don’t go far these days), but she struggled in going to the post office so often. My sister works full time, so time was her issue. Using Twicely you don’t have those issues anymore.
The website is simple to use and the customer service team are really helpful if you have any queries. The site itself is suitable and appeals to all ages and is very visually pleasing, so you know it will get the traffic you need to sell your items. You could argue you don’t make quite as much money as you would on EBay but in my opinion is well worth the stress free experience. Payment is fast and you don’t have to pay to send your items. Bonus! I have also bought a couple of items from them as well and was pleasantly surprised. So I am assuming they don’t except clothing in poor condition, which makes buying from them hassle free as well. Over all I am really happy with the whole experience.
My only regret is not having heard of it sooner!

I 've always thought there should be an easier way to sell the clothes that I've hardly worn - the 'too good for the charity bag' ones. And there is! Twicely! The experience is great, so far. What's even better is that it's free to send everything to them.
The convenience of selling tops my list and so, I don't mind that the percentage you get is a lot lower than eBay because it requires so little effort on my part. Prompt payment and awesome customer service will definitely make me a loyal seller on this site.

I always used to sell my clothes on eBay but these days I don't have as much time as I used to so I am glad I came across Twicely. They take the hassle out of me selling them myself, obviously I may not make as much as I could on eBay but honestly, it's great to have some empty space in my wardrobe and some £'s in my bank. They pay quickly and their customer service is great which means I have used them numerous times now. If you want to make some extra money but don't have the time to list your clothes on eBay then I thoroughly recommend them.

Twicely is very easy and convenient to use. My experience with twicely has been excellent and all the dealing went very smooth. It's free to send clothes to them. While I get selling on eBay, it's worth using Twicely as a bonus and get them to do it without any hassle. I have received all the payments in time and customer service is also great.

I've sent my clothing items into Twicely a few times now and love how much easier it is to sell through them than Ebay and the likes. It takes so much of the hassle out of selling, it's free to send your clothes to them and you get paid really quickly.
I'm quite a minimalist but love fashion, so it means I get a good bit of money back on my clothes every time I have a clear-out.
They make sending your clothes really convenient and you don't have to do anything else, they do all the rest and their customer service is excellent.

With Twicely, it was so easy to finally clear out my wardrobe and make some much needed space. I've been trying (and failing!) to list and sell my stuff for ages and this is a godsend for people like me. I filled up their return bags, sent them off and they did the rest. I have been using Twicely for several months for selling clothes on several occasions and have been delighted every time. The whole process is very easy. I post my clothes in a bag they supply and they let me know their suggested sales prices before they put them on the site. Also get to know how much they put in my account from my sales that month. Highly recommended this company to all and will be using them in future.
