I use Twicely to sell and recently I have started buying a few items as well (never bought second hand before, but couldn't resist - and wasn't dissapointed!). I have realistic expectations about the selling process and I am usually more than happy with the payout. I chose to take a higher payment after my clothes have sold and usually send a new bag in every three months or so. I stick closely to their guidelines and they tend to accept about 60% of everything I send. Given that it all went to charity before I have to say I'm delighted. I know that I could make much more selling myself on eBay but to be honest I don't have the time and the few times that I have tried it's been a huge hassle and I won't be rushing to try again any time soon. Twicely do all the work and I get a cheque! I have also bought a few times. I know how good my clothes are and I know how carefully Twicely checks everything. Got to say I have loved the items I have bought.....and the price!

do you not send your items to this company. I thought it was such a good deal and with what they laid out the prices that they pay it seems like quite a good thing to do and timesaving as well. I sent a whole bag in a really expensive clothes probably about 20 items are more. They told me they would give me £17 for it even though a lot of the items were brand-new and someone tags. I complained about it and the person that responds is very rude and does not help at all. I was offered for my items to be sent back for £35 but was also told that most of them are sold already so will be paying for £35 for I'm not even sure what. do not use this company. One of my items would have been at least £17. I also find it interesting how they combatted my review here within hours but I still have not heard back on my problem the last time I contacted them. Nor received my money when I sent the items last year.

As someone who absolutely loves fashion, I use Twicely to sell and to buy. Their friendly approach and level of service are of very high caliber.
Items I purchased are pristine and at very fair price. You should also know about their new personal service where you can try before you buy, great idea! I fully recommend you start following them on @twicely_uk for daily inspiration, previews of whats to come and a bit of fun.

I have nothing but good things to say about Twicely - they get back to you quickly, are helpful and a great resource for unwanted clothes - they take the hassle out of eBay. I find the bags they send you with the return label very simple and hassle free

I have to confess to buying too many clothes and to having an aversion to the hassle of selling them on ebay!
Twicely is the solution for me, super easy process to sell, very clear guidelines and I've sold multiple items.
Adam's customer service is great. A pleasure to deal with!

Pop your clothes in a bag & they do everything for you! So much easier than eBay although you've just got to have patience. They work out what your clothes are worth so sometimes can be disappointing however if you were going to give your clothes to charity anyways then it doesnt make a difference. Very quick with replies & payments go straight to PayPal! Fuss free!

Best to send just a few good things and be patient - some items take a time to sell. Good customer service.

Definitely a great alternative to e-bay and hassle free. Easy process of sending in my items using the free bag. Great having monthly e-mail updates and regular payments.

My experience with Twicely has been great! The process of posting my clothes to Twicely was smooth as ever, with Twicely sending a bag (postage paid by Twicely!) for me to ship my clothes in, straight to my doorstep. I sold 2 items within the first two months, and was paid a fair share of the proceeds. The level of service from Adam has been excellent, and exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend this firm!

My first visit to Twicely welcomed by a lovely member of staff wasn't pushy so felt at ease browsing around. Lots of lovely items bought a dress at a great price will definable return.

*** Since posting this, the company have emailed me with an apology and an explanation, plus my first payment, so I am hopeful that this initial experience is just a one off and won't happen again to me or to anyone using their site ***I sent a large bag of clothes to Twicely in November. Their feedback was very positive, they were friendly and helpful and they were confident they could sell my items, many of which were designer.
Despite receiving a statement from them stating what had sold, I have not received a penny from them. My emails to the company have been ignored and when I tried to call them this morning, their number has been de-listed. I hope there is a reasonable explanation for this and I welcome one. If not, then I can only assume they have taken my clothes, sold them and retained all the money for themselves. Please be very wary before you send anything to them.

I only started using Twicely recently but I think its a great concept - especially if you have been put off by the hassle of using ebay.

I LOVE clothes (I consider it my hobby!) but funds are tight and so I tend to buy second hand when I can or sell on things I no longer want or to get rid of those 'mistakes' we all have sitting in the wardrobe.

Buying is easy. There is a set price advertised on their web site (usually well over 50% off the original price), condition is excellent and delivery swift. They offer no hassle returns if something doesn't fit and its the brands I like - Joules, Hobbs, White Stuff etc at a fraction of the price. Sure you might get it cheaper on an ebay auction but I've found so many times that condition is poor when items actually arrive or parcels get 'lost' in the post. With Twicely you get a fair description for 'as new' second hand clothes and the reassurance of a proper commercial delivery service. I have found their website to be a little slow at times but you can buy the same stock from their ebay 'store' which is faster so its not really a problem.

Selling is fairly simple too. You request a bag, package it all up and send it via Collect Plus. They assess your stuff and give you an up front or post sale price. You can take either the price they offer immediately or wait until your stuff has sold and get a slightly better price. it's all done via Paypal. You have to pay to get back what they can't list or they will recycle it but its all VERY CLEAR this is the case and to be honest I would have sent this stuff to the charity shop anyway so I'm happy for them to pass on what they can't use to a good cause. Basically I sold the equivalent of 10 ebay auctions worth of stuff in one go without any of the hassle of posting and comms with buyers.

They do have very strict requirements for the condition of the clothes. I personally think this is the genius of the site and its what drives me to check out their new listings in my size on a regular basis. If you are a seller and don't have the brands they like (again this is all clear) or are trying to offload jumble its not going to work for you. Read the FAQ's first and see if its going to work for you. For certain brands or more worn stuff stick with ebay.

Their customer service has been excellent and everything was explained to me as a first time seller. For me its great way to snap up some of the brands I love for a fraction of the price and also to sell on things that no longer fit or didn't work for me. If that sounds like you - give it a go.

I sent a bag full of AllSaints, Top Shop and River Island clothes amongst others. 70% were unused with labels attached. The remaining items immaculate condition worn once or twice. Upon dispatch I clearly marked that I would like those items not listed to be returned to me. They have apparently "disposed" them. It's difficult to believe that they would dispose brand new and excellent quality clothing with labels attached! I don't buy this explanation at all. When I questioned them about this they agreed to send them back to me "if they could find them". They obviously failed to "find them" and left me with nothing but a loss of hundreds of pounds and a hell of a lot of stress.
Please take a look at another review on here relating to clothes which that particular client had also asked to be returned which also "went missing."

For sold items which were sold months ago, I have just been paid a grand old sum of £9! My clothing was worth several hundred pounds!

They deleted & blocked me on Facebook after I posted an accurate and very honest account of my experience with them and that's all. Please be aware that they are very quick to delete any negative feedback they're able to delete and are very proactive in doing so. I came on here to leave a review because they have silenced me on social media through deleting and blocking me.
I've had my fingers burnt and lost hundreds of pounds and clothing that I could have kept or given to family and friends. It's been a really upsetting experience and I wouldn't want other people to go through what I have been through.

A friend recommended Twicely and my experience to date has been really positive. Selling with Twicely is a cynch. Ordered a free mail bag, filled it up and dropped it off at the Collect+ shop round the corner. They processed it and had my items listed within a week. My items sold through really quickly and before you know it I had a cheque for several hundred pounds - seems people couldn't get enough of my Karen Millen dresses! As someone who has given up on eBay finding Twicely was a godsend. I can't tell you how easy and straightforward the whole thing is. 5 stars...I wish I could give them 10!

I filled in the form asking to have my clothes returned to me if not suitable for listing on twicely. I included my return address details as asked. I returned from a few days abroad to discover that whilst i had no internet connection they had sent me and email saying they were disposing of my clothes unless I contacted them in the next 7 days ( I had already made it very clear I wanted my clothes returned) no apology recieved only told that to keep my items would choke their business! I did not want my items kept I wanted them returned and had already agreed the few for this and given my return postage details. This company is a joke! My clothes that were disposed of mostly boden and similar would have sold on eBay for a minimum of £100 but twicely claim they have been 'disposed of' they haven't told me where refused to compensate me and won't return my emails.

My experiences when dealing with Twicely have all been excellent ad my goods have been in top condition when I have received them. Very well packed and a prompt service. I have no hesitation of dealing with them again, and I do recommendTwicely to my friends.

Twicely is a fantastic innovative company great for online shopping. They get some great designer pieces in and also post trend updates and have a blog. I love shopping on the website you never know what you might find!

I love shopping on Twicely! I have been a bit more adventurous with my buying recently as I can 'work' different looks without paying a fortune! I have bought most of my winter wardrobe for a fraction of the price it would have cost at full price. I love it!!!!

I totally LOVE using Twicely...it's an easy, reliable and trustworthy service - with (big) bags of feel good factor! As you fill the bag it feels almost as good as shopping itself! I look forward to choosing items to send & also have found great buys on the website too. Recycling at it's very best...I am always recommending Twicely to friends... it's just brilliant!

I've been using Twicely since soon after it first launched. It is so easy - I post my clothes in a pre paid bag they supply then forget all about them. Every month I get a lovely email telling me how much they have kindly put in my PayPal account from my sales that month! I always get a chance to review their suggested sales prices before they put them on the site. For buying new stuff it is fabulous as I get designer brands of guaranteed quality (not like some of the eBay disasters I have had over the years) for a fraction of their original retail price. Love Twicely!
