I renewed my passport from Australia and found UK Abroad to be most helpful. Clear, regular communications and easy-to-follow instructions made the whole process seamless and stress free.

Of course one can renew your passport directly with HM Passports, but there is the hassle and uncertainty of the process when living outside the UK.UK Passports took all that away, and Shaun, our personal consultant ensured that our application was completed correctly before it was submitted to the UK passport office. We also opted for the complimentary courier (DHL) service, and our application was collected and returned exactly as promised, and remarkably quickly. We sent the documents on February 2nd, and my wife received her shiney new passport today, February 22nd.
Throughout the whole process Shaun responded to all our questions, and provided guidance , especially re taking the ID photograph, within the hour, if not sooner.
Although the service is a premium price, it is definitely worth every penny, and I will use it again for future UK document renewals.

I am a first time user of the ukabroad.net system of UK passport renewal. The outcome is I was able to receive my new passport in about two weeks and living half way across the world from the U.K (in Hong Kong) which, I believe, is very efficient. I communicated with a representative from ukabroad.net called Brannan via e-mails and her instructions were clear, concise and professional. She understood my urgent need for a new U.K passport in regards to planning for an urgent trip to China the following month and helped inform the passport authorizing body the need for expediting the passport issuance process as well as organization of courier services. I'm very happy having worked with Brannan and would recommend her services to anyone needing to renew their U.K passports.

It's the first time I used a Passport service to renew my Passport and it couldn't have gone any better.

The service was quick and easy with great communication throughout the whole process right down to DHL telling me the day it would be delivered. Although a little more expensive then doing it yourself, I would definitely use this service again.

UKabroad did a fantastic job of arranging the renewal of my British passport from Australia. The process was smooth and hassle free and communication was excellent.

I went on this site thinking it was a government agency and was duped by their proximity to UK.GOV, their use if the crown logo and the Union Jack etc.

Beware! Their true status - a barely legitimate documents handling company - and their terms and conditions are easy to miss, especially if you think you're dealing with a government body.
By the time I got suspicious it was well past their 12 hour cooling off period and I lost 25% of my €285 fee - about €75.

They are nearly three times as expensive as the passport office and if my limited experience of their service is anything to go by (immediate response then nothing till I complained) certainly not worth it.

My son works in IT. He did some research and their glowing reviews are unverified and probably fake. Also, trying to find them on trustpilot was really difficult because it doesnt recognise the name as it comes up on google search.

I tried to leave a review with them via google and it was immediately deleted.

All I can say is go to UK.GOV. You will get your passport, safetly, courteously and very much cheaper.
This company is exploiting the trust people have in government institutions. They need to be exposed and stopped.

After the initial contact to renew my passport, the whole experience was simple and straight forward.
The arrangements made by UK Abroad for collection and delivery of the passport were flawless.
Communication with the passport consultant, Shaun Weldon, was excellent and I was informed of the progress at every step.
The current process is a massive improvement over my experience 10 years ago when I was required to travel to the UK to personally collect my passport which was extremely inconvenient and stressful.

As a UK citizen living in South Africa, I was admittedly rather sceptical at having to renew my British passport online. However there was really no other option.
My initial enquiries with UK PASSPORTS were promptly and comprehensively answered by an agent ( in my case, Brittany). The advice given on the procedure was detailed and easy to follow. From start to finish I was kept informed on progress, which was reassuring. Once my original documents were collected by the courier service, allocated to an official, and my application approved, my new passport was delivered to me in 11 working days.

The last thing any traveler wants as he/she prepares for a trip abroad is a passport problem - along with nightmares trying to find anyone to quickly communicate with. Thanks to UK Abroad I had no such trouble. I had only one easily-fixable problem recently involving my photo. All my communications were responded to promptly with clear details to action, my new passport was received promptly with all other documents returned to me as was outlined, an overall exceptional service.

Instructions from start to finish are easy to follow and one thing is requested at a time so you don't get confused. Follow up is very quick so the process moves quickly and easily. Responses are usually within 24 hours and even some the same day. My advisor was very thorough and I enjoyed working with him. It was wonderful to have a personal consultant, Brittany, in the UK, keeping me up to date as to what was happening, when. She was superbly responsive, too. Just great!
It was, however, somewhat confusing to receive messages from DHL courier service, giving different time lines for when the delivery would be made. I had chosen a specific time and date (11:30am-6:00pm), but some of the messages said that the delivery would be made up till 9pm that day. In the end, the delivery was made at 4pm or so, which was within my given time constraints. Perfect!
So, all in all, a fabulous service, which I appreciated hugely! Thank you to all concerned.

They helped me renew my passport quickly and accurately. I sent the passport to them via DHL and my anxiety was put to rest by them, they kept me updated on the progress and it didn't take much time to receive my new passport. I would like to let them know that I will continue to use them in the future and that I have no complaints about their service.
