Ripley store
Visited the Ripley store for some carpet. Lots of choice for colour and styles in store. The friendly and helpful salesman soon got me sorted out. Offered the fitting only 4 days later.
Overall very impressed.

Great customer service
Walked into the Ripley branch on a wet and miserable day to be greeted by a lovely man named Andrew. Very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make our experience easy and fast. Been to few carpet shops recently but Andrew has made it an easy choice for me to use United carpets for all my flooring needs in the future as it was such a pleasure. Highly recommend this store and its staff.many thanks.

Carpet and Lino
The people were lovely and did an excellent job and even helped me move furniture when my partner was out. However there is a few bubbles in the lino that was fitted but nothing I can’t sort myself as I know the fitter wasn’t feeling to great but still kept a great attitude and did the job.

Went in the Ripley store and nearly…
Went in the Ripley store and nearly walked back out. The store has broken windows and looks scruffy. We did go in and was greeted by a lovely man behind the counter. The service was good. When the price was given to me over the phone they then charged me
£109 for fitting. I thought I got free fitting when I purchased underlay???? Fitter came and was good but left all the off cuts everywhere.

In regards to the store appearance we are disappointed to hear that the appearance was not up to our usual standard and we will investigate this further.
In regards to your fitting, I have been in touch with the store and you didn't pay for fitting as you bought underlay however, there is a surcharge for carpet fitting on stairs. Great Value, Great Service
We have always found United Carpets to provide excellent service and the last time was no exception. Martin at Ripley provided us with the advice we needed, took our order and gave us the fitting date we had requested. The fitter turned up promptly, was polite, pleasant very neat and efficient and the finished result looks beautiful. We know the budget carpets we chose will perform very well, as we have bought similar ones in the past.

Looked in so many bed shops
Looked in so many bed shops, we were beginning to give up. So glad we went into United Beds. Perfect bed, good price, helpful staff. Delivery on time and all packaging taken away. Very happy.

Great from start to finish
Great interactions with Sam, Sam and Martin, helped me choose the right kitchen flooring, new skirting boards and bedroom carpet. Fitted to a high standard between the dates I requested and I am really pleased with the result. I will use this business again 😁

Brilliant carpet shop as staff were really helpful and friendly.
They went through every step with me so I got the best deal and the best carpet for my stairs. I was originally going to gave a different type but they explained it would not last long on my stairs as its not the correct type of carpet for the area. I always thought you could have any carpet anywhere but they explained the difference. Will definitely go there in the future for other rooms.

Initial visit to Ripley store was a…
Initial visit to Ripley store was a great experience. Really happy with the carpet that was chosen and was able to have it how we wanted it. Unfortunately, the fitting was very poor. Some of the carpet was loose and bulging, poor fitting on the edges and I've had to go back around and trim and tidy all the mess. The door threshold to the kitchen also fitted WAY to far into the kitchen and now struggle to close the door. Fitters also took in a very expensive parcel whilst they were here and did not tell me that they had accepted it, which I only found later on in the day after waiting in for it!! My brand new sofa, they stuck a sharp implement into it (likely to 'put it somewhere'). Finally, left all the mess and excess carpet, all against new freshly wallpapered and painted walls which were covered in rain, so I've had to repaint some areas. Won't be coming back to united again I'm afraid.
