Als je nog twijfelt over een bakfiets of bijvoorbeeld over het merk: kijk niet verder! Urban Arrow was echt een top keuze voor ons.
We laten nu veel vaker de auto staan voor korte ritjes, en pakken snel de bakfiets. De kinderen vinden het ook prachtig om samen op het bankje te zitten en door het landschap te zoefen. We hebben ons verbaasd over het gemak waarmee je je kunt verplaatsen, accu is snel opgeladen, er past hartstikke veel in de bak (buggy erbij, of maxi cosi erin).

It's a fine product. The bike rides and operates very smoothly, both empty and with additional cargo. The battery life is consistent and lasts several days on Tour mode. It's comfortable and safe for the kiddos too. I am very pleased.

Overall, I’m very happy with my Urban Arrow FamilyNext. I mainly use it for commuting and for transporting my son, and it feels like a very practical alternative to using the car.

The electric assistance is powerful, especially in Turbo mode, and makes longer distances much easier. The cargo box offers plenty of space and is very useful when travelling with a child or carrying extra belongings.

There is definitely a learning curve, though. Compared with a normal e-bike, the FamilyNext initially feels quite different to steer because of its length and the position of the front wheel. At first, I found it less stable, especially when riding with one hand, and not being able to see the front wheel took some getting used to. After spending more time on the bike, however, I became increasingly comfortable with it.

My biggest downside so far is the battery range. With the 545 Wh battery and a lot of Turbo assistance, the range is rather limited for long commutes. On my approximately 51 km round trip, I have to manage the assistance carefully to make sure I have enough battery to get home.

Overall, the Urban Arrow FamilyNext is a comfortable, powerful and extremely practical family cargo bike. It takes some time to get used to, and I would have preferred a larger battery for longer trips, but once you adapt to the handling, it is a great bike for both family use and everyday commuting.

My baby started out in his car sear with adapters, and has since moved to a seat. He absolutely loves this. Much better than the car: the fresh air, different views and enjoying the ride with mama on the pedals.

Very happy with our urban arrow. What a bike! Incredibly smooth ride and despite its size, its so light!

Ik zoek elke dag een reden om lekker op pad te gaan met mijn nieuwe fiets.
Mijn dochter van 1 jaar geniet met volle teugen en kijkt haar ogen uit en mijn hondje is blij ook mee te kunnen en mogen.
Lekker met z’n allen in de frisse buitenlucht genieten.

Very handy, easy to use

the bike is very well made and is extremely comfortable for the kids. easy entry and you feel like the kids are very well protected as the basket is high and the seatbelts are very premium. Overall i am extremely happy with the Urban arrow cargo bike. i actually changed it from my old one to allow my kids more space, of which it has PLENTY. My only small complaint is for me. Coming from a Rieser Müller Cargo bike.... the suspicion for the parent is minimal on the Urban arrow bike. .

We have had an Urban Arrow Family for almost 7 years now and we just traded it for a brand new Urban Arrow Classic, due to the fact we did not have the disc brakes and we all of a sudden had three children. The cargo bike has never disappointed us once, we have so many nice adventures with it and we even brought it to our holidays in the Netherlands twice. The quality is very good and ride is smooth, the new one is even smoother! Highly recommend, quite the investment, but worh any cent.

Ich benutze mein Urban Arrow mit der Hundetransportbox. Für meine Tätigkeit als Facilitymanager muss ich viele Gartengeräte, wie Rasenmäher und Stiehlwerzeuge und andere Dinge transportieren. Durch die Seitenklappe ist das Beladen um vieles Einfacher geworden. Das Beste ist, man tut etwas für sich und der Umwelt. Egal was man geladen hat man merkt kaum, durch den starken Motor.

Lovely bike. We enjoy it as a family son a daily basis.

All of my kids friends want to get rides from us in "the big bike" now. It's a thrill to see the kids so excited when they hop on for the first time! And the parents are always impressed at how far/fast the bike can take 3 big kids and how much fun they've had during the trip.

Amazing way to be on the road with a child, especially for a family like ours, who live in a city and do not want to own a car. Now we use a Maxi-Cosi adaptor for our baby, and we cannot wait for him to start sitting in the little bench. We are super happy with the Urban Arrow. Highly recommended for all families!

Ich habe lange nach einem Lastenrad gesucht und bin bei verschiedenen Händlern eine Vielzahl an Lastenrädern gefahren.

Keines hat mir so gut gefallen wie das Urban Arrow Family Next - dieses Rad überzeugt mit Qualität, Leichtigkeit, großem Stauraum und wirklich guten Komponenten! Ich empfehle dieses Rad wirklich jedem in meinem Umfeld und bin sehr sehr glücklich damit. Innerhalb von 6 Monaten haben wir nun 1.500km auf dem Tacho und bereuen keinen einzigen!

I have a 2012 UA that I got second-hand from a bar owner. He used it to transport crates and goods between his bars. I repurposed it for little passengers and have been running with it since.
Mechanically speaking, the frame is indestructible, other components are very high quality and still running strong 14 years later.
Personally, it is a bliss to travel with kids. It has become their vehicle of choice (beats a ride in a car!) and they can have snack as we roll. I use it every other day in Barcelona.
Hoping for many more years with it

Excellent cargo e-bike. The kids love it, and we as a family love it. It's very stable and convenient, yet super flexible in turns.
Worth every penny.

We were reslly looking forward to having this bike. We have a newborn and a toddler, which means getting somewhere is slow (because it can get really windy out here) or in a car. Since we have our Urban Arrow my husband and I fight over who gets to pick our children up from daycare. Its wonderful to have a few more moments 'outdoor', compared to being in the car. My toddler loves watching every animal and bicyclist. We are very happy with our bike!

Een geweldige ervaring. Kids genieten in de bakfiets. Ze zien alles en hebben leuke praatjes wat ze tegen komen en groeten iedereen die ze tegen komen. Het is prachtig als we naar de winkel gaan is het de eerste ding dat de kinderen zeggen gaan we met de bakfiets. Onwijs leuk en ook voor se fietser is het lekker je kan gewoon overal je fiets neer zetten en boodschappen doen en alles past in de bakfiets met de kinderen. Fiets ook lekker soepel en wij genieten er nog elke dag van. Het is het geld wel echt waard.

We waren een bakfiets gewend met 3 wielen. Deze fiets fietst veel lekkerder maar het moment van ‘van de standaard’ halen is pijnlijker voor de kinderen.
De bak is ook iets kleiner dan de vorige fiets maar dat is opgelost met fietstassen achterop. En normaals, het belangrijkste: de fiets fietst heerlijk!

Super fijne bakfiets. Niet voor de kinderen want die zijn al volwassen, maar voor de hond! Echt geweldig vind hij het. De fiets trapt erg lekker en is makkelijk te besturen.
