Great choice and service. Received my item very quickly. Well packaged. Would use again.

My pair of Sass and Belle mugs were delivered today. The packaging ensured they arrived in one piece and I noticed how environmentally the materials were. Almost every bit went into the recycling bag.
And the mugs are gorgeous 😊❤️

I usually shop at the Utility store in Liverpool and love visiting as the store is full of great brands and unique products. I ordered online a while ago during lockdown and was so impressed. Delivery was slightly delayed which was totally understandable but when it arrived I was so happy. The parcel was very well packaged and included a note to say who packed your order which was a lovely touch. Another massive bonus was that the package was mostly plastic free, with everything else being recyclable! The only plastic in the whole box was a plastic film on a jigsaw I ordered. Overall I was extremely pleased and would definitely order again and continue to shop in store!

Always great products, usually go to the shop, so first time ordering online with Utility Gifts. Good experience, easy to use website and good communication once my order was placed. Parcel arrived exactly when expected and was well packaged. I will use again, although its not the same as having a browse around the shop!

I can not fault this company, when 1 thing wasn't available they phoned to say and offered a substitute. Nice touch.

I'm amending my review in light of myself receiving a full refund for a faulty product ordered with this company

My principal concern had been the awful customer service I had experienced until that point, but I wish to express this is now been rectified. It is clear their reply regarding their returns process was merely a misunderstanding, stemmed from human error, which is completely fair, mistakes happen.

They have since organised collection of the faulty product and provided a full refund within a couple days of my original review being published

However while I appreciate the efforts made to rectify this order, this does not invalidate the below-par overall customer service I experienced. For instance, although I emailed Utility on 16/11 that I wanted to return both products, for me then have to chase a response on 18/11 and not even receive a response until 20/11 (which was unsatisfactory) just isn't good enough, considering the state of my order.

When I finally received a further response, I had the faulty product for over a week

Moreover, I've read through the detailed response below regarding the packaging and I remain unconvinced. The commitment to a reduction in plastic waste is commendable, but I find it difficult to believe delicate frames would not be damaged if they're not wrapped or tied down to something. Additionally, for the boxes not even being marked as 'fragile' seems a strange oversight for such high-value goods. Hence, I would be reluctant to order similar products from this company in case they would be damaged in transit also.

With all this being said, I have amended my review as a gesture of goodwill as my order has now been fully resolved. Utility has a wonderful product selection and their in-store experience is great.

I just wish my online experience had been of the same quality, as it stands I would be quite hesitant to order something in the future.

Item arrived well packaged and in good time, however the item had some noticeable differences to how it was advertised in the images. For example, the item had a badge on the front which was a dark colour in the picture, but white when it arrived. The inside of the bag on the image was blue, but when it arrived it was grey. The zips on the bag in the image were also a dark colour, however in real life they were yellow. All these differences are not major, hence why I have decided to still keep the bag. The service seems good however slight disappointment on the different bag that I received, hence the 3 star rating.

A gorgeously edited selection of gifts and treats. I love everything that they sell. We’ve been stocking up on lockdown essentials. Really smooth service. Delivery was swift and beautifully packaged. The quality of the items was brilliant. Such a treat!

This is the second time I have ordered from Utility in the "lockdown" & both orders have been 100%, totally as described, well packaged & promptly delivered - very impressed! Will definitely use again & many thanks.

Needed to get some greeting cards and other gifts online as due to the lockdown was not able to go out into the "real world". Normally I would do the shopping in one of Utility's great stores. They have a fabulous selection of cards and quirky gifts.

Utility, as always, were able to not only supply me with everything I needed, but the turnaround time was awesome!!

Umbra over door hook was a waste of money! The measurements on the box say 21.6x15.2x7cm but actual width of the part that fits over a door (taking into account the sponge stuck on lining) is only just over 4cm. So didn’t fit our basic fire 5cm door width...would take it back only the stuck on lining scraped off when I was trying to get it to fit bah!
