this company is absolute jokes. i placed an online order and it auto defaulted to my old address and i noticed immediately— however there’s NO SINGLE WAY IN HELL to update an address or cancel an order??? in what fvcking world???? how are they even successful this is some knockoff middle of china company type bullshit

I decided to give vans a solid whirl so I’m not always wearing runners everywhere. WOW. Bought 3 shoes and they’re insanely terrible quality. They feel like walking in cardboard and you can even feel the texture of the ground. One of them ripped completely within a few months. I’m genuinely blown away how they become popular - I guess they LOOK good and have great marketing. I have never seen a product so genuinely consistently terrible and be successful

Bought Knu skool pumps and within 3 months the suede material split at the back by the heel. I complained online and sent photos but they stated it must have been from accidental damage and refused to exchange or refund. Will never be buying Vans again.

The Vans website is a master class of intentional broken crap. They never send you the 15% off coupon. It tells you free shipping at over $50, but that's if you're part of the free family thing, which when you click on doesn't really tell you anything about if you've joined or not. The website is so intentionally broken or so badly managed, that either way should be illegal. I wonder what responsibility websites have legally to provide an honest experience? I actually thought of contacting my states Attorney General it felt so sketchy.

Ordered a pair of shoes from the Vans Australia online store but was sent a mis-matched pair - two different sized shoes. Have been chasing up a replacement or refund for two months. Terrible customer service. Delivered product was not as advertised.

I order shoes online from vans site as I have done many times before. This time they charged my bank account but they had no order on my profile. Called and talked to customer support manager and did not get answer as what went wrong. Only wait and see if charges drop off. 114.65 is alot of money not to get product

I bought some Vans skate shoes in Argentina. After three days of use, the print on the red tag with the Vans logo faded. The quality of the leather is very poor and tears easily at the bottom of the laces. The toe caps also started to peel off.

You can really tell this company got a new CEO recently. I knew without even looking it up. But once I did look it up it made total sense. SHE (the new CEO of a skate shoe company) came to vans from LULULEMON or however you spell that (a girly fashion show company)..
They’re really going downhill. And fast. Their quality is terrible now too. Every new pair I got has issues EXCEPT the Rowley XLT which THEY STOPPED MAKING. Imhu the coolest skate shoe of all time…. Obviously I’ll be buying a lot more DVS in the future..

I brought a pair of vans on afterpay. They shipped quick. They weren't the ones I was thinking but that's my fault. Brought them as work shoes. Im about 2 weeks total time wearing them and they are already falling apart. I used to own a pair of vans back in high school and they were the shxt. Don't know what happened back this is bullshit or have they really gone down hill thay bad?

Je viens juste de commander ma première paire de vans. Je les reçois au bout de 15 jours. J'ouvre mon colis et je vois les étiquettes arrière vans cousues à l'envers et les étiquettes sur la bande blanche qui sont collées avec la semelle sont décalées et ils me disent que c'est un défaut de fabrication et pour me dédommager ils m'offre -10%. Je trouve que c'est une honte des chaussures à ce prix là avec des défauts de fabrications. Pour s'excuser ils auraient pu m'offrir une paire de basket et sans défauts biensur. Je ne conseille personne d'acheter sur ce site .

I bought the Vans UltraRange Neo VR3 and started wearing them in Spring. After less than 3 months of mild and normal use, the inner fabric lining on the heel completely wore out and tore open. This happened despite the fact that size 42 is the perfect fit for my 26.5 cm feet. I am deeply disappointed with this brand using such low-quality, fragile materials. After looking up online, I found out this is a very common manufacturing defect of the UltraRange line. I will definitely not trust this company again in the future.

I bought two pairs of vans off the website and only receive one. I’ve sent multiple messages and emails to Vans but they haven’t replied still owing me money for the other pair of shoes. They don’t get in contact with you at all. It’s quite sad bad communication.

Ordered these vans shoes on May 3rd, was told 3 to 6 days Shipping. It is now May the 11th and I've just been informed they won't come in till Friday the 15th. The shoes are literally in St. Peters, MO (30 minutes away) right now, with fedex, and this is Monday. Even if they miraculously arrived tomorrow on the twelfth that would be the ninth day three days longer than they said , and now i'm told the fifteenth , which will be another four days. I have been promised they would arrive on Friday last week, then, Saturday last week and then on Monday, today, and now i'm told this next friday. How does a company this big not have a better idea of when you will get your shoes.I didn't order a rocket ship.It's a pair of shoes.

I purchased a pair of Vans for my daughter. The first time they were worn they fell apart. I contacted Vans and the sent me an eCard. When we got the card my daughter decided she wanted Converse so we never used the card. It has been a few years but I went to use the card and it won't work, when I contacted them they said it only had $5 on it and they won't fix it. What happened to it? Did it take money off for not using it? The card never said it had an expiration date! I will never buy Vans again!!

How the hell have they got this bad? Ordered a pair of full price skate trainers, 9 days later they haven't even shipped despite having called them 5 times to discuss. Asked for a refund which still hasn't been processed.

Absolute joke for a company this size. It's bad enough I will never use Van's direct and will only ever buy through other merchants. After how awful this experience has been, I genuinely considering giving up on their trainers altogether, which is heartbreaking as I have 4 pairs myself, the kids all have them and so does the wife....

Ils refusent de me renvoyer les baskets en taille inférieur et me remboursent alors que j’avais bénéficié d’une promotion et qu’elles ne sont plus au même prix

J'achète des vans depuis des années, mais je n'ai jamais vu rien de pareil en terme de mauvaise qualité.
J'ai acheté des old skool en avril 2025. Je ne les ai pas portées tous les jours ni en hiver pendant 2-3 mois, et en mai 2026 elles se sont décollées en dessous sur les bords bien à 3 endroits différents, les deux chaussures. Elles sont finies à la poubelle, impossible de me faire rembourser / les remplacer ou même mettre un avis sur le site de vans (le dernier avis date de 2024...

Been a loyal Vans customer for over 20 years and boy the quality is absolutely terrible now.
I bought a pair of Vans 'Premiums' and I kid you not they fell apart in about 3 weeks of daily wear! Completely destroyed and I put them in the bin. (This is a common issue on Reddit..)
I contacted customer service but they didn't want to know.
I still have a pair of old Authentic 'Vaults' that I have worn for about 6 years and they are perfect.
Stay the heck away from those 'Premiums' they are certainly not premium, you can get shoes of 10x better quality in Lidl for £9.99.
It's a real shame to see Vans die, after all the history. Crazy to think all they care about is the money, whilst knowing full well they are putting out terrible shoes.

RIP Vans.
