Recently used versus Law for a purchase through auction ther was complications regarding title deeds
However naterlie moylan handled The issue and process very profeesional she went above and beyond to make sure everything was completed in the required time I cannot thank her enough for her tireless efforts and giving me peace of mind throughout the process thank you for your exceptional service..

Aisha Razi was extremely helpful and kept me updated throughout the purchase of my property. The process itself can be stressful but Aisha took charge of everything and now I have my first home without any hassle or headache. I would highly recommended Aisha for conveyancing, she is extremely professional and offers great advice and guidance.

James Brennan at Versus Law was incredibly helpful, explaining all legal teams and making everything as easy and simple as possible for me.
James took over my case when another solicitor quickly left the firm, despite the case being allocated to James at a later stage, James completed everything on time and his communication with myself was excellent.

Excellent communications and attention to detail. Helpful in all respects, timely and professional and I have no hesitation in recommending their services.

Good:

- One of the cheaper quotes I received
- Friendly
- Patient with me as I previously had files opened before getting gazumped. As well as patient during the eventual purchasing process and listening to my worries as a FTB.
- Recommended by a friend

Issues - minor admin improvements:
- Got the house price wrong on a form.
- Didn't notice inconsistent seller's name on forms
- Didn't complete notice of transfer form and ground rent got uncomfortably close. Took 3 emails and eventual visit to the office to sort out.
- Accidentally charged stamp duty

Would definitely be keen to use Versus Law again for house purchase if fees stay competitive.

Don’t waste your time! Three requests later, my neighbours and I are still awaiting a call back!
Obviously the work wasn’t going to pay enough.

Just overall poor communication and staff can be very rude which is a shame. 3 days prior to completion I was given 34 attachments to read and return within a short time frame. Amongst this in the report was a statement that the seller had applied to extend the lease but that we did not know the outcome. This was the report on title I was required to sign and so a current document that should have been accurate. As the flat should have had an 80 year lease and the issue of a possibly short lease and outstanding lease request had never been raised to me. I tried to Versus law but was told the partner involved had stepped away from his desk so had to ask them to pause the process ( 3 days from completion). I then tried multiple times to call and each time was left listening to hold music. Eventually the partner called me and when i tried to call back it again went to hold music. He then did call and we managed to speak but rather than addressing the issue instead asked if i had enjoyed the hold music. I didn't respond to this as it was just a really facetious thing to say in this context and told him to get to the point of his call. He proceeded to start saying there had previously been an issue with the seller. At this point I asked him to email me instead as if there had been an issue its better it be in writing. The subsequent email blamed incorrect historical information sent by the seller - the seller had not in fact applied to extend the lease - it seems therefore that Versus Law had sent me an inaccurate document to sign today and caused understandable anxiety at the point of completion by falsely stating that there was an issue with the lease. They did not apologize for this or for the stress caused by it but instead left me on hold on repeat and then asked me if i enjoyed that. Judge for yourself if you'd want to pay them thousands for them to behave like this.

Horrendous.

Claims to help get your money for flight cancellations and delays, they don’t tell you that you can actually do all that yourself and don’t need their help as they do NOTHING anyway. TOTAL SCAM do not use these people.

Excellent service with a very customer focused attitude. Very helpful and informative.

Shocking performance from a law firm that did not understand the specific requirements of a leasehold transaction. Waste of time, effort and money. Certain employees need to either retrain or find alternative careers. Will be reported to the SRA.

Great experience with this company, very quick and very responsive to all communications, and work completed to a very high standard - couldn't have done more for me! We had a few bumps along the way (no fault of their own) and Gareth & Katarzyna both did their upmost to ensure this was dealt with as effectively as possible with regular updates.
Will definitely recommend and use Versus in the future !

I recently used the services of this Versuslaw solicitor company to help me with a flight delay claim I had with Gulf Air. I had previously tried to contact Gulf Air directly with no response, but this solicitor company were able to help me resolve it. They were very professional and efficient in their approach, and their customer service was excellent.
