Though it offers all kind of information, from the 100 artists and tracks we tried more than 40% was not on Viberate, even though they are well known artists and have lots of plays on spotify and elsewhere. Dutch artists like Maribelle, Maxime & Franklin Brown, Indonesian like Betrand Putra Onsu, and many others.

Best platform

They don’t issue refunds if your annual subscription that you haven’t used in 8 months gets auto renewed.

There should be a 7 day grace period like all other companies.

These guys are lame.

We've been using the Viberate API for years now and has been a great experience allowing us the latest Artist metadata and, a stable environment to enable us to build our product. They have a great support team, always quick to respond and help if any issues arise. I highly recommend Viberate.

I recently had a disappointing experience with Viberate regarding their automatic subscription renewal policy. I was charged $239 for an annual renewal without receiving any pre-renewal notification, which prevented me from opting out or switching to a cheaper $19.90/month plan.

Upon noticing the charge, I immediately contacted support to cancel and request a refund. However, I was informed that renewals are non-refundable, despite my prompt request and the fact that I had not used the service. They eventually offered me a partial refund ($71.70), but this still felt unfair given the lack of transparency.

🔹 Pros: The platform itself may be useful for some music professionals.
🔹 Cons: No pre-renewal warning, no fair cancellation window, strict no-refund policy.

If you’re considering Viberate, be extremely cautious of their renewal terms, as they do not send reminders and will not refund you even if you cancel immediately after being charged. I strongly recommend opting for the monthly plan instead of the annual one, or ensuring you cancel well in advance.

Verdict: Unethical renewal practices & poor refund policies. Would not recommend.

We have been using Viberate's API for a couple years and were very happy from the responsiveness of the team as well as the technology itself. Would definitely recommend these guys, as they have built a reliable, robust data tool of the highest standards we've seen in the music industry.

I work closely with artists, managers, labels and distributors. Viberate is my go-to platform to see trends and identify opportunities. The data is accurate and clean. It's simply the best data platform in the music business.

Great UI/UX, clear insights. Easy to fidn everything, got the data for all artists I needed.

I just had a very upsetting experience with this company. I urge you not to work with them.

I had bought a year subscription not knowing I would be auto charged for a second year. I haven't used the app in over 5 months. When I saw the charge, I told them I would not need the subscription anymore and asked for a refund. They refused me a refund on the ground of their terms of service.

This is possibly the worst customer service experiences I have ever had with a subscription based service. Never In my life have a I been denied a refund on a subscription purchase that was a mistake

First issue: they take a full year payment upfront. Red flag. Features are absolutely substandard. If you decide you don't need the service they will not prorate a refund. Be very careful dealing with this scam company. SAVE YOURSELF, SAVE YOUR MONEY.

Awesome, it is great that much information all thou at the beginning can be oberwhelming it is visually pleasant. My prefer method was by genre but there are several ways You can gets the info You want like the top artists of psy trance at the moment and i trust it is accurate because how it displays the information about it :)

Viberate is about stealing your money. Their 7 day trial ends up charging your card and they won't give you your money back, even if you cancel it immediately. They keep your money.

Be very aware that the "free trial" offer from their website is not actually free. I went through the sign up process for a 7 day free trial which included entering billing details and then cancelled the next day only to find that full payment for a year had been taken from my account. Despite frequent email discussions they refuse to return my money even though I am not using the site. They say it's because I'm in the UK and their T&C's only cover EU. This happened back in March but it's only now that I realised I should warn others.

They send me a link with their services for more or less 2.60 euro a month so I decided to subscribe to see if it’s good for my business ; I mean for 2.60 lets give a try… but they took me 43 euro for an year without telling me . So I claim with PayPal but they don’t want to give back my money. Fraud

I use Viberate on a daily basis as part of my A&R and marketing manager positions. I really enjoy the centralization of information from streaming and social platforms. Their support is also very responsive.
