I read some reviews and couldn’t disagree more. I received a call and discussed my job opportunities and how to increase my chances to be successful in a job. Only after I said yes to help did I receive more information. Pleasant experience.

This company is not a pleasant experience to deal with.

I am based overseas and looking for jobs in Australia. I applied for roles on other job platforms.

Realized quickly that they are very dangerous and scammy. Reasons listed below, on my experience and what I found out about them from google:

1. They find your personal details such as name and phone number from other job platforms
2. They will phone you and SMS you multiple times.
3. Their tactics aren't that of a Recruiter or recruitment advisor, rather that of a sales person.
4. They try to up sell you into courses and degrees (I'm assuming they get a percentage/commission from this).
5. They have hired notorious scammers from the crypto world, and also within Australia into their senior leadership.
6. They prey on the vulnerable, unemployed population, all for making some money.

All of this aligns with a money hungry business eager to do anything to make the next $$$

I got so fed up with their "advisors", I wish they could be reported to some government authority.

My experience was very much the same as Matt Peterson's (below somewhere).

I had Jesse reach out to me and haggle me to do a degree via HECS, which will allow me to get a great job in the future.

1. I didn't apply for any role via View Jobs
2. I don't want to study
3. I am unemployed and looking for a job

I wonder how they got my information, why they wouldn't stop pushing me to do a degree, and refused to help unless I signed up for a degree.

This is a scam.

Got a text from Imogen with the number 0468 091 532 saying:

"My name is Imogen, and I am a Career Advisor at ViewJobs.

I am reaching out to offer a courtesy call to discuss your job search and provide any assistance or link you in with anything from our end if we can.

I was really confused because I knew for sure that I had never heard of nor applied for a job with this website. Imogen then rang me multiple times, so I proceeded to block the number.

It is quite concerning to me with regards to my privacy and security that some random start-up is stealing my information and using it to potentially gain a commission off offering me a job or degree.

I proceeded to Reddit and Trustpilot afterwards to see that they have a really poor reputation and are notorious for these sorts of strategies.

I would not recommend anyone approaching the company or dealing with them.

I was offered an amazing opportunity based on my characteristics and communication by Yasmin at Viewjobs. She explained throughly the introduction of the opportunity to which then i accepted and was called shortly after by an Advisor named Jesse who took me through the opportunity criteria and give me a fulfilling summary to process. I then spoke to another colleague of theirs Named Tai who took me through additional supporting information. I found the team at Viewjobs to be fairly accommodating with high level of communication and patience. The standards of Viewjobsacademy are very admirable and I wish them the best on their careers and parent company.

Very predatory organization. They will keep blasting you with texts and calls (SPAM), after you apply for a job on ANOTHER job board!

They have some shady staff members as well when you go through Linkedin and google them. Before proceeding I'd suggest look at who works there, run them through google and you'll know yourself.

It makes sense, since the tactics of the organization align with the type of people in senior positions within the organization.

No View jobs and view jobs academy are not going to help you get a job or help you with a degree. They just want money for themselves and to force you into something you dont want to do

Thieves preying on the unemployed. I was applying for a job on another job board and these guys kept sending me texts and ringing me up. I spoke to one of them. And he tried to sell me a degree... probably takes a cut off it. I also perused their website and they're just scraping the jobs link and details from seek, jora and indeed. Your best bet is to keep your distance from anything viewjobs.

Though I’m not Suresh, I received an SMS from "Kyle at View Jobs" stating that he was trying to reach me regarding my recent job application and asking me to call back.

The message clearly implied that they were contacting me about a specific application. However, when I returned the call, I was transferred multiple times and eventually spoke to someone who didn’t identify themselves and immediately started asking whether I was looking for work.?

The most concerning part was that they then asked me for my personal details, work history, and even the phone number I was calling from. I provided my name yet they claimed they couldn't locate my details. If they were genuinely calling about a recent application, I would expect them to know who they were contacting and which role they were referring to.

No specific job was identified, no employer was mentioned, and no clear company introduction was provided during the call. The experience felt more like a lead-generation exercise than a legitimate follow-up to a job application.

I called back expecting to discuss a role I had supposedly applied for. Instead, I was asked to provide information that they should already have had if the SMS was accurate.

By the look of reviews they target males.

Based on my experience, I would be very cautious about providing personal information until they can clearly explain who they are, where they obtained your details, and which job application they are actually referring to.

I was applying for a job through my workforce app, I was redirected to this website for a simple retail position, once I applied I was cold called by viewjobs, who framed the call as if he was actually from the retail position i applied for, he went over my resume with me and told me i would fit a manager position better and that he could offer training for said role and some courses id need first. I was later given two follow up emails about a interview for a MBA with an online university, had I not properly read the email I probably would of fallen for this rug pull, it seems by the other reviews they pull some kind of stunt to reel you in, and then try and get you to sign up to a business course you don’t need.

Review:
I was contacted by ViewJobs.com.au regarding a job I had applied for a role that was not advertised on their platform. They named the exact company I had applied to, which immediately raised concerns about how my personal data had been obtained.
The first person to contact me was Joseph Duffy 0468 085 840, who framed the call as genuine recruitment support and asked how my job application had gone. I was then encouraged to send through my resume so they could “see where they could help”. No feedback or assistance was ever provided.
The following day I was contacted by Jesse Sahely 0468085840, and it became clear this was not recruitment support at all.
I was given a high-pressure sales pitch to enroll in a $40,000 MBA, funded via HECS, with claims that upon completion I would “land a $140k job”. This was paired with classic pressure tactics:
• Being told the course was starting within a week
• Being pushed to enroll the next day
• Leveraging the fact that I am currently unemployed and actively job seeking
Jesse also attempted to add credibility by stating that the university involved had “four Prime Ministers” as past students and that I was “lucky” to be able to complete the course online, implying this was a rare or special opportunity. In reality, online university study has been widely available for many years through open and distance education pathways.
When I later made it very clear that I was not interested in an MBA and simply wanted help returning to the workforce immediately, I was told that they could not help me unless I enrolled in the course, and that they “just needed me to complete some forms for banking details”.
This made it clear that any so-called assistance was conditional on enrolment and financial commitment, not on helping me find work.
No legitimate recruiter or education provider can guarantee salary or job outcomes. Promising this to unemployed job seekers, while applying pressure to take on significant HECS debt, is deeply unethical.
This experience was not about helping me find employment. It was a sales funnel disguised as recruitment, using access to private job application data to manufacture trust, urgency, and pressure.
I strongly caution other job seekers particularly those who are unemployed or under financial stress to be extremely careful.
People deserve transparency.
This was not it and frankly its disgusting.

Unsolicited calls from this business following applying for jobs on their so called job board 'ViewJobs'

James is one of the best consultants that I have ever spoken to and will highly recommend View Jobs to anyone who is thinking of studying. Hound a young intellectually disabled kid to sign up to a course that he has no capacity to complete, take money out of his disability support pension fortnightly and then still charge an astronomical fee to cancel enrolment!

The course I enrolled in was very informative. They also followed up with their recruiter and now I’m being interviewed for a potential job.
