Friendly helpful staff
Both the staff at Kendal Vodafone were helpful, friendly and informative. Called in to upgrade to a new phone. The shop computer system was a bit slow but in between my wife and i (both over 60) got loads of instructions and info on backing up accounts etc. Learnt alot about phone and accounts but most importantly friendly no pressure, patient staff made it easy. Well done.

Amber is amazing!!

Came in for an upgrade, my phone that I had was ancient and it was having some complications. Naria-An was amazing, gave me great deals on different phones which was similar to what I was originally paying. Great service.

Absolutely the best experience. Thank you Morgan.
The patience of Morgan and his help in all aspects of updating my accounts. He remained calm regardless of the volume of customers in the store.Really helpful information and nothing was too much trouble. Morgan provided me with excellent information about account options, what is most suited for me and why. Morgan went the extra mile to ensure I left the store with everything I needed. He even got me a glass of water when I had a coughing fit that wouldn’t stop.

Awful shopping experience with Amber (Manager)
Amber (manager?) was beyond indifferent when myself and my partner visited in November/December last year. I am only writing this review now because, in comparison to the appallingly bad 'service' she gave at the time, both Scarborough & York Vodafone staff, where I have since gone instead, have been brilliant and have helped us where Amber hadn't.
When we walked into the Kendal shop, there were 3 members of staff, one of whom was already busy with another customer. Amber and another member of staff were both busy looking at something on a laptop/monitor and neither of them even looked up or acknowledged that we had walked in and were waiting for help for a good 5 minutes.
When we eventually got seen to, Amber's whole body language, tone, demeanour was patronizing and rude, perhaps because I had just wanted to query something about my contract and my partner had expressed an interest in just buying one of the cheapest, most basic of phones. She made a derisory comment to my partner to the effect that there was nothing wrong with the phone he already had and that "maybe it was the user" that was the problem.
In an effort to try and break the ice of what was a very awkward, unpleasant consumer experience, I attempted small talk with Amber, saying I bet it would be manically busy for them in the run up to Christmas. Her response was (verbatim) that she was "looking forward to making lots of money". Not looking forward to helping customers - no - making lots of money. That says it all really. Terrible shopping experience from me who has been a loyal Vodafone customer for over 20 years. Avoid Kendal Vodafone - unless Amber is on annual leave !
