Smooth switch promised, but major delays
I recently switched from Sky to Vodafone broadband and was told the changeover would happen the same day. Unfortunately, it didn’t. My internet stopped working completely, and as someone who works from home as a software engineer, this caused a lot of stress.Sky couldn’t reconnect me because Openreach had already moved my line, and Vodafone couldn’t activate my service until an engineer visit the earliest date was a week later. I made several calls but nothing could be done.However, the manager at the Vodafone Swindon town centre store was incredibly helpful. She provided a temporary 5G modem so I could continue working until my broadband is fixed. I really appreciate her support.
My advice to others: don’t rely on same‑day switching promises if your job depends on a stable internet connection. Be prepared for possible delays.

absolutely amazing member of staff, Nazmin, she done everything she possible could to get my phone reconnected from transferring from one network to vodafone, took about 1.5 hours but honestly she done everything she could to help, absolutely amazing and deserves credit

I would highly recommend Nazmin at the Vodafone Swindon store.
She provided excellent customer service from start to finish. She was professional, friendly and took the time to understand exactly what I needed. She carefully helped me choose the right broadband package, mobile contract and phone, making sure everything suited my needs.
Nazmin also dealt with my complaint efficiently and kept me informed throughout the process. She went above and beyond to make sure I received the best possible deals and that everything was affordable for me.
Nothing felt rushed, and I really appreciated the time and care she put into helping me. She is a real asset to the Vodafone Swindon team. Thank you, Nazmin, for such outstanding service!

I talked to Benn in store today and he…
I talked to Benn in store today and he was very respectful and friendly. He helped me get a 5G Router when I couldn't order online because of address issues and within 15 minutes I had my router and a overall great experience in store so lots of thanks!

I’d like to say a massive thank you to Georgia, Palasha, Benn, and Mikki at the Swindon Vodafone store for being so helpful in sorting out my Vodafone mobile number, as well as my son’s number when switching from EE to Vodafone. They made the whole process smooth and stress‑free. They also helped fix the complications caused by an online Vodafone order — exactly the same issue my husband had — and handled everything calmly and professionally.
I’m so happy to be back with Vodafone after being with EE. The team gave me such a warm welcome, and the whole experience was excellent.
