Premium cost for poor coverage and value
Premium cost for contract deals, with roaming being added extra. For us 4yrs ago we could take a call in the house. Now we can barely take a call stood in the front garden. When you ask for help you get a stupid pathetic chat-bot which totally patronising and useless. Also plagued with so called catch-up calls designed for one thing to tempt you to by extras or renew your contract early in a ruthless way. Would like to give a higher rating but based on the above.....it's a big no.....we will end our existing contracts in April and go with another provider saving 70%of our current monthly bill have a better signal and.....Oh by the way....roaming is included.
Absolutely appalling customer support
Decided to move my broadband provider from Plusnet to Vodafone. Big big mistake!
Went online and selected a Vodafone product that suited me no problem. Every thing was going along fine with completion scheduled for 8th April but then 2 days ago I received a text telling me they had successfully set up my DD and requesting me to follow the instructions provided to check all the details and let them know of any errors.
The link provided took me to my Vodafone account and I was able to follow the next step but then the next tab just didn’t exist. Tried several times both via the link and direct via normal account access.
I was keen to make sure the details were correct as I was a little concerned about when they were intending to take the first payment so thought I’d contact them to clarify the situation.
Used their Chat facility and after managing to get an agent rather than a bot it soon became clear that the agent wasn’t “equipped” to deal with my enquiry, I asked direct questions which they ignored completely and just kept saying that all will be clear when my accounts is active on the 8th April. I asked how then I could check the DD details their text asked me to do. Again they were most unhelpful and just kept insisting that despite what the text said I didn’t need to check the details but that they could check them for me! I questioned that and asked in that ask if they were prepared to take responsibility for any subsequent errors. They ignored that question like so many before. So I advised them that I will request a full transcript of our conversation for future reference. This I did via the tab within the chat screen but when I received it all I got was the bot conversation not the agent chat and not even their name.
I had had a prior agent conversation via the chat facility and had successfully received that in its entirety so the abbreviated one I received was odd today the least.
So, whilst the Vodafone deal was slightly cheaper than renewing with Plusnet I decided that I was not happy with Vodafone agents so decided to cancel the order.
Simple you would think but no very far from that.
I spent over 90 minutes this morning between 3 different agents. The first said after 45 minutes that they couldn’t actually cancel the order so offered to transfer me to another agent in a different department. I wasn’t at all happy with their inability to help when I made it clear within the first minute what I wanted but agreed to the transfer. After going through security again and again telling them what I wanted to do and as requested gave them my reasons for cancelling they finally advised that they also couldn’t deal with the cancellation and offered to transfer me to yet another agent in another department. I was somewhat furious by this time but kept my cool and agreed to the transfer. The next agent advised that rather than than me going through everything again they would read through the earlier chat conversation but also advised that I would need to chat every 1 - 2 minutes to avoid being cut off. I did that and eventually the agent came back and told me they had actioned my request. They provided a link for me to request a transcript of our conversation and ended the conversation. I clicked on the link which took me to Vodafone but not to my account to access the transcript details as….they didn’t have an account in my name!
I have subsequently received a text to confirm cancellation, what a relief. I have never had such appalling experiences with any company, customer support is absolutely awful as far as I’m concerned. I really regret ever contacting Vodafone, I certainly won’t ever again. Disjointed, incompetent service throughout!
Absolutely abysmal service...
Absolutely abysmal service.... hold for 20 minutes, they answer and ask what you want and then abruptly end the call!!!!!! If you can't get knowledgable, trustworthy people answering your customer service calls, then what good are you???!!!!

One of the worst companies to exist on the planet. I will throw a massive party when they eventually go bankrupt from Starlink etc. Call staff are all Indian, barely speak English and are rude. Chat bot is slow and frustrating. When you finally get through to a human they are completely useless, take 4 minutes to reply to each message, and don't help with your problem whatsoever. Our bills go up 7% a year for this disgraceful service. Jelly and ice cream when you go bust!

I Joined Broadband in October as they were offering an incentive of £125 to do so. When the 120 days were up Giftcloud should have issued me with a Voucher.
After 6 emails and only receiving 3 back from Giftcloud I decided to contact Vodafone for their support to get what I was expecting.
My contract is with Vodafone who sold me the offer and was told they couldn’t help me reclaiming the £125 because it was a third party which deals with that offer

I asked the agent so Vodafone has fooled me into signing up so I should be able to cancel my contract with you as not receiving the £125. All I got from them I would have to pay the termination cost if I cancelled.
Question: Why can’t I get help from Vodafone who dangle a carrot 🥕 to get the business and now they are refusing ownership with myself and others reading reviews on Giftcloud.

After 5 hours on the phone and having spoken to 4 'experts' who had me diagnosing and rediagnosing my broadband issues they finally agreed with me that the router was faulty. Absolutely terrible service. A stressful waste of time and rubbish equipment not fit for purpose.
Shocking customer service
Shocking customer service, been told multiple times I have moved home and still have my old, old address on my bills which is now causing me issues in claiming it back from my new job. Told it's my fault this is wrong, despite them carrying out two change of addresses for me and being told multiple times I don't live there, and now being told they can't send me a correct invoice which I'm entitled to. Disgraceful!

I have been with Vodafone for many years. Lately, the internet has gone down lots causing issues with working from home, outdoor cameras to stop recording and interrupting any TV entertainment my family enjoy. The website is a pain as it never retains your password. Very annoying. Do better @vodafone as there are many other places to go. Time for a change maybe.

Absolute appalling company customer service are unprofessional and haven't a clue.anyway vodafone phoned me offering a deal which if you took the deal you get £70 cash back, So it all seemed good, fast fibre 900mbs for £31 a month plus I get £70 cashback, so I was out of contract with my old service providing so I took the deal, so I recieved the box and basically had to plug it all in myself has there was no instructions, managed to get it working but the WiFi was really weak around the house, intact it was aweful so I called them about it and they tried selling me boosters , I thought they was joking like , ive never ever had a problem before so why now, couldn't get any joy out of them, also my home phone wasnt working and couldn't not get any joy there has I didnt have my account number simply because they was sending all details to a different email and not mine , after 2 months I managed to get it, but the wifi is appalling the signal around the house is very weak in some areas its dead and vodafone said we dont guarantee the wifi signal, too right they dont as they now its aweful. Also rang again numerous times to see where this £70 was where they sort of could not find that deal, I felt a deception was being committed here, so they pasted the buck to the relevant department so they said and they will get back to me, they never did, 3 times I tried with the same story of them but no call backs, So think twice about going with vodafone broadband as honestly its bad all around and the lies do roll from them, A Absolute Appalling company with the worst broadband service you could ever encounter

By far the worst customer service I have experienced. Vodafone App is not responding to anything, automated topup machine transfers u to customer service because it cant process simple numbers from credit card, then a he/they/that picks up the phone and asks on the line for full card information including security code...are you guys for real? Then after I stated that automated voice and app is not responding that mental abomination hungs up the phone...AND IVE BEEN SUPER NICE! Im so out of this phone company
Joined Vodafone - Biggest Regret Ever
Have moved over to Vodafone after being a loyal customer to EE for over a decade. Hands down one of the worst decisions I could’ve made. My experience with Vodafone and the poor customer service has made the savings from a cheaper tariff not worth the hassle or stress.
I’ve taken out two SIM Only Contracts for both my wife and I and each contract has had to be cancelled and done again twice. That’s a total of 4 contracts in the space of 2 days and a 5th contract because guess what, they messed up again. I just don’t understand how you can be on the phone, confirm your package, double check and confirm and then suddenly they put through a different package.
Not only this, I ported my number in to Vodafone when I took out the first contract, but because they messed up my contract, I had to cancel it and needed to take out a contract with a different network provider, port my number out to them, cancel that new contract with the temporary provider, port my number back to Vodafone and the scheduled day for porting is over and it’s passed midnight and I’ve had no email to confirm porting is completed and E-Sim is ready so had no data or service all day as my old provider has closed the account.
The first day they messed up my contract, I wasted 4 hours on the phone being passed from different departments and each person I spoke to was so incompetent and had no clue how their own process works. One guy even tried to share a link to their own internal sharepoint to an irrelevant guide which only internal Vodafone staff can access.
I’ve wasted an entire week, spent hours on the phone, spoke to almost a dozen employees, and I STILL HAVEN’T BEEN CONNECTED.
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and will never ever recommend them to anyone. Please, if it’s to save a few pounds a month, just stick with your current provider. These lot are a waste of time and space.
Apalling customer service
over 3 hours across 2 chats and 1 phone call and via 7 different people to resolve an error they made on my broadband bill .... so much for Just Say Once! Also conflicting answers, told things that were not correct. The only worse experience I had was with TalkTalk ..... switching away from Vodafone

Where do I begin, firstly placed an order for the giga cube box, the thing you just plug in and go basically, the first lady I spoke to did everything that was supposed to happen except take the up front payment, for the plan I wanted the website also stated £23 per month, when I was talking with her she said it was £28..how strange...anyway apparently she went and had a little conversation with the air, came back and low and behold, couldn't honour the website price, I should have know at this stage, major red flag, I went ahead because I was desperate for broadband as recently moved and work from home, no one followed up so I had to call the next day and go through absolutely everything again, except this time i was told the plan was £23, absolute scam artists here, I have to assume they are being told how and what to say with customers but honestly what a joke. Got the thing anyway and it was simply not robust enough for my demands so I called to send back, was told I had to pay a £500 disconnection fee!! Honestly at this stage it's funny, so I obviously pushed back on that because 1, I was in the 14 days cooling off period, 2 this was not a connected broadband, the giga thing is literally just a box you plug in, turns out he had not received any training about the giga box return.....que a long hold while he sorts that out, so I don't need to pay the £500 which of course I knew and had zero intentions of paying, to end a long story, do not engage with Vodaphone, they are a nightmare, I ended up going with BT whom I had no issues with, got it set up in no time, didn't have to deal with anyone asking me how my day is going and that they can make it better (they clearly did not), would never use Vodaphone or even consider them again.

Would give zero stars if possible. Tried to switch broadband providers online, order was confirmed. Then they cancelled it and told me to phone customer services, after 1.5 hours on the phone they re-ordered the switch but I couldn't have the switching gift card of £140 as that was online only! Also said needed engineer even tho I already have FTTP. They could not tell me why but muttered something about my land line. I had lost interest by then. Phoned existing provider (Plusnet) who then offered me a better deal than their original one. Phoned Vodaphone to cancel the switch, another 40 mins then transferred to someone else, probably in India, could hardly understand what they were saying, to confirm I wanted to cancel the order. I for one would not touch any Vodaphone product with a barge pole, abysmal service with call centre staff who sound like they would rather be somewhere else.
