I regularly use this service and have always had a positive experience, the customer service is a delight all through the office everyone is willing to help especially the VW rentals which is department I use, the lady in there is lovely. the service is very simple and effective and I never have any issues with the cars always spot on.

I am extremely satisfied with the service provided by vwfs-rent a car. The car was brand new, equipped with all the necessary features, and offered very competitive pricing compared to others in the market. The only area for improvement I can suggest is streamlining the rental process by introducing handheld devices to reduce waiting times at the office for paperwork and key handover. During my first booking with them, I had to wait for nearly 45 minutes past my pickup time. However, since the rental office is located in the VW showroom, and being a car enthusiast, I didn't mind the wait as I got to admire some amazing cars. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend their service

Recently hired a VW Passat for a week. The service was excellent. Was dealt with by Raheel and found him to be professional, efficient and and a pleasure to deal with.

Really good to be able to know what car you are going to get before you get it.
We hired a Passat estate for a fortnight for a trip to France: really needed a big car (only a Passat estate would really do it for us!) so was great to find VWFS offered this.
They are a small operation so aren’t always quite as responsive as a big airport car hire place might be, but their service on the day of pick up and collection was great and their relatively laid back approach to the car hire process very much made up for this.
I’ll be using them again next year as long as I can still get the car I need from them (hopefully will extend their range of EVs going forwards: would be interested in an ID5 I think)

Went today to return the rental, it took them 45 min to process the return, wasn't very happy with the service provided by the people who work in the back room. They don't seem to care. Even when I collect the car. There was no one in the back office, I was told to wait by the receptionist in the main showroom.
I know the service is cheap and convenient, but the customer service is nonexistent.

Close to central Birmingham, simple pick up and drop off process even for us with Australian drivers licenses. The car was quite new, only 2000 miles. A great place to hire a car and very affordable. We were offered hot drinks on both drop off and pick up which was a lovely personal touch. We will be back when we come back over in four years for the cricket again! When we came 4 years ago, we went to one of the bigger car hire companies and had to wait over an hour for our car so was looking for some other options when I came across VWFS Rentals. Highly recommended, thank you!
