Very poor service. Tried to charge me £280 to replace two coil packs (coils are about £40 each so they were charging me £200 labour for a 10 minute job when they were already on site). Could not get through to the manager on phone so I got them to remove the coils.
Would never use again.

Changed my pick up time 4 times and the car had no sun roof as it was smashed which they knew and it needed taking to Mercedes. Mercedes needs to not sub contract its road side recovery, land over and BMW were out within 2hrs previous cars. Westbourne in formed me yesterday evening they'd be with me at 10/11pm that then changed to 1am which I had to understandably move to the morning to which they said they'd be out at between 8 and 12, they didn't turn up, so I phoned Mercedes and was told it would be 4pm after having time off work. They didn't turn up at 4pm and have got mercedes to call saying it will now be tomorrow. However at least Mercedes have told them no it needs to be this evening really bad service

I honestly wish my experience had been even half as smooth as the promises made by Westbound Motors. From the moment my vehicle was handed over, everything became a slow and confusing mess. Communication was almost non-existent, updates were vague, and every simple query felt like I was asking for something unreasonable.

I was left waiting far longer than I should have, with no proper explanation and no sense of urgency from their side. What should have been a straightforward process turned into unnecessary stress and complete inconvenience. At no point did I feel that customer care was a priority for them.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience has been frustrating enough that others should be aware. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend them based on how poorly everything was handled. I expected professionalism and reliability, but received neither.

My car broke down and RAC handed it over to Westbourne Motors — and honestly, I wish they hadn’t. In my experience, the way this company operates is unbelievably poor. The staff I dealt with came across as downright rude and completely uninterested in helping. I was given information over the phone that turned out to be false, and at one point I was actually shouted at just for trying to understand why my car had been sitting in their compound for over a week instead of being delivered to the address I clearly provided.
I was left feeling ignored, disrespected, and treated like an inconvenience rather than a customer. If this is how they handle people in need of help, then I want nothing to do with them again. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise avoiding them if you have any other option.

Fast and professional after a very stressful motorway breakdown near Ashford, Westbourne Breakdown Services, who were subcontracted by Green Flag, arrived in an hour and Paul was friendly and very helpful. Overall a bad experience was resolved well. Many Thanks.

Every time I have to call I am on hold for over 1 hour and 15 minutes only to get aggression from the person answering the phone. They were hours later than they said they would be when collecting the vehicle and just scream at you on the phone.

The driver/technician were super helpful and sweet. Definitely helped me and my family feel much less stressed about the situation with the way they handled it. Amazing service from incredible people! Would 100% recommend!

I would not give one star. Awful experience . RAC use them as their contractor. Do not use. Picked car up at 7pm then had calls at 10pm saying they couldn’t deliver car to garage 10 mins up road as the road was closed so had to return it to where they collected it. That wasn’t an option so said they would try to drop it near the garage & they would call to let me know. They didn’t. I called tyre garage next day & they didn’t have the car as expected. It had been dumped in a road near by with key hanging off front tyre. Access was fully available to the tyre garage but they hid the car behind a burger van .

Why do we have to leave at least one star? This bunch of cowboys don’t even deserve that.

I had no choice dealing with this bunch of scumbags as my bike was stolen and then stolen again by Westbourne Motors, who refused to give it back and every time I went to attempt to retrieve it they screamed abuse at me and called 999 making up lies that were easily dispelled as the video I took clearly showed that all I said was “Hello”.
This lot are thugs, liars and thieves who are more interested in finding ways to keep your vehicle in order to bump up their exorbitant prices, than they are in providing service to victims of crime.

Avoid like the plague if you have any choice, and if you do have to deal with them, do so via your insurance company so that you don’t have to meet their vile staff members.

This company should not be used as a 3rd party. We had the most appalling recovery driver. We waited nearly 3 hours only for John to turn up to tow us to a service station 10 miles back the way we came! To await another recovery agent. It was unsafe for us to be in the vehicle while being towed, but okay for our small cockerpooh which we had to leave in our towed van. When the driver pulled out of the lay-by we was almost killed as he failed to notify the highway agency we needed to move out. Very poor hygiene from John of Westbourne Motors. We are leaving our recovery agent due to this experience.

Dave picked us up and was apologetic that he was a little late then proceeded to give us some iced drinks (it was punishingly hot) and then was an absolute sweetheart for the journey home. Couldn't have asked for a better driver.

After a 10 hour wai to be recovered. Gets a text from them informing me they will be there for a time. 30 mins later, I text them back asking when will they arrive, NO reply. Text again asking if they are going to turn up. Guess what? NO reply.
Gets a call 5 mins later from their office. NO apilogy for being late or letting me know they were goung to be late. So i used 1 (one) swear word and and I then apologised. Thats enoughfor them not come out.

We had a brilliant experience with Westbourne. Lee collected the car promptly. We went along for the ride. It was the first time I had got to relax the whole morning once Lee arrived. Very happy with the service. Had no issues with communication. It was dealt with promptly. Back home safely. Would 100% use this service again should I be in that position.

The wait time was ridiculous. The guy turned up, he didn’t have a battery on the van, told me he was going to pick up a new one and would be back with me by 5pm. 5pm came and hadn’t heard a peep. Contacted the office and they were incredibly useless and the woman I spoke to said it was too late so I have to wait until next day. I’m absolutely furious that I had to waste a day and take time off work due to their incompetence. The other guy came and fitted the battery and I’m still chasing my invoice. The live chat service isn’t helpful in the slightest and the staff I spoke to over the phone weren’t helpful or friendly either. I wouldn’t recommend this company at all!!

Ajit was prompt, efficient and very friendly. He did a great job of securing my bike and he offered me a bottle of water on a really hot day. Plus we had a really interesting conversation on the way!

4 hours and counting 😖 leaving a 6 month old baby and 2 year old in the heat it’s been today! Changed the recovery time every hour absolutely disgusting

Not normally one to write reviews unless a company excels or are particularly BAD.
The latter is the case here unfortunately.
After being allocated the job by ERS Breakdown, a one hour lead time became FOUR hours as the drivers were reportedly diverted to other jobs whilst supposedly en route to me.
Fortunately ERS re-allocated the job and LJ Transportation were with me within half an hour and gave top service.
I'll certainly be asking NOT to be referred to Westbourne in the future

Amazing service provided by Westbourne today! I came back from holiday early hours this morning to find my car had broke down in the car park. I called green flag who arranged a technician from Westbourne to come out - we were quoted over an hour but he arrived within 30 minutes - I can’t remember his name but he was incredible! So quick and funny in a situation that wasn’t very nice. He diagnosed the problem but couldn’t fixed it and therefore arranged a tow truck. He was open and honest with us about timings due to shift changes, which was appreciated. We waited 2 hours for the tow truck, which is what we were told due to the time of morning it was. Neil then arrived, within about 25 minutes of his shift starting. He promptly attached my car and we were on our way. He was so chatty and friendly. Lovely guy! We arrived at my local garage where Neil helped park the car for it to be looked at. Amazing service from start to finish and i couldn’t recommend them enough

If you wanna be stranded for hours and hours make sure you call these guys because they'll deffo make sure of that👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 useless company avoid avoid avoid avoid. They will tell you a time slot then almost deffo let you down, I'd rather walk home over hot coals than recommend these to anyone. TOOK SO LONG RAC TOOK THE JOB OFF THEM FOR ANOTHER FIRM. COWBOYS
