Thank you for your reply.

I appreciate the fact that you acknowledged RAC’s mistake & the inconvenience it caused me being without my vehicle for a number of days but you have not provided any thought whatsoever as to how I continued to live my life without a vehicle. I had no other option but to use public transport systems at a significant cost to myself when it was completely the RAC’s fault.

Who reimburses me for this financial outlay? There has been no consideration given to this hence my request for the £99 diagnostic test to be refunded as a gesture of good will to an RAC member of 40 years who has never complained previously!

Very polite and efficient

I received messages to say he was on his way, arrived 5 minutes later and got on with the job. Very friendly and honest - he even left me some engine oil that was left over and he found a pound coin on the drive and handed it back to me! How cool and honest was that? He was here for about an hour overall and cannot fault him. Fully recommend RAC

Jack came out to me and conducted the service on my car whilst i was able to do other things inside the house

Amazing quick and very helpful

I had to cancel my booking due to being unable to afford the repairs and gave more than 48 hours notice before the 'time' of my appointment. I did not have a priority booking so would have been from 10.30am onwards. It did not state on the reminder email that is has to be 48 of the 'day' of the appointment, regardless of the time.

I felt pushed into booking the appointment in the first place and was told 'oh yes you can cancel at any time and get your £1 deposit back'

After raising a complaint they did not uphold it which is very disappointing as it does not work in line with consumer duty and treating customers fairly.

I've cancelled my RAC and insurance and have gone to a different provider altogether.

Poor service I feel after having to wait 8 hours for a person to come out in the first place.

Easy booking, timely appointment, just let the guys get on with the service. Very pleased with how it turned out and will use again.

Jamie from RAC was due at 12:30 but came half an hour early at 12.
He was cool, calm, collected and informative.
Jamie did a great job, and cleaned up after himself.
He is a credit to the company.
I was very pleased with the work carried out.
