Our design appointment was a huge help. This wasn’t a sales process, this was all about getting the best bathroom for our budget.

The worst customer service i went in for a simple return or even exchange i had the emailwd receipt but they insisted i needed the small paper receipt and told me to go to a diffrent store and try. Will not be going to this branch again.

I've been using Wickes in Barking regularly for my trade work, and I can honestly say it's one of the best builders' merchants I've dealt with. The store is always well stocked, the prices are competitive, and the 10% trade discount makes a real difference over the course of a year.
What really sets this branch apart, however, is the exceptional customer service. The staff are consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to help locate products, offer advice, or make sure you're getting exactly what you need for the job.
A special thank you to the management team for maintaining such high standards and creating a welcoming atmosphere for both trade professionals and the general public.
I would also like to give particular recognition to Rupali. She is always professional, approachable, and incredibly helpful. Her positive attitude, attention to detail, and genuine willingness to assist customers make every visit a pleasant experience. Staff members like Rupali are a huge asset to the business and are a big reason why I continue to return.

Had my bathroom done and needed to return some extra tiles. I spoke with Rupali about my experience returning items to the canning town branch and never receiving the refund. She made sure then and there that my refund would be processed and she was just so kind and sympathetic throughout. She also gave me some good advice. Won't bother next time going to the canning town wickes ever again

Extremely disappointing experience with the bathroom design service, particularly with designer Benaiah Oti. He visited our property, checked measurements, confirmed everything was correct, and asked us to place the order. However, once the order was placed, communication completely stopped, calls and emails were ignored.

When the fitters arrived, they found that several items did not match the actual measurements. Cabinets had to be cut and modified just to fit, and even then the final result looks poor. We also received the wrong quantity of shower panels and even the wrong shower unit altogether.

To make matters worse, Benaiah asked me to personally bring heavy return items back to the store, only for another staff member to later confirm that a home collection could have been arranged the entire time. This caused unnecessary stress, wasted time, and physical effort.

The whole experience has been frustrating, unprofessional, and incredibly stressful during what should have been an exciting home project. Very disappointed with both the service and communication.

I attended a decorating event on Saturday 2nd May at the Barking store. I was made very welcome by Rupali who was meeting and greeting visitors. The Cheshire mouldings stand was very interesting. The expert on hand was very knowledgeable and informative about not only his products but the Wickes stock.
Overall the experience was great. I attended a CT1 and tool marking event earlier in the year which was equally good.
Keep up the good work!

We had best experience when we went to buy floor tiles for our house. Sonia was amazing she was so friendly and very helpful with material. She also gave us good suggestion our item's.

Rupali was so helpful today, going out of her way to help me find what I needed to prepare for putting some wardrobe door handles on when I got home! Thank you Rupali - great customer service. The handles are now securely on, and straight!

Saf is not only the best staff at Wickes but tge best staff ever, I was thinking about a bathroom from B and Q and Saf gave me a better deal. So pleased with Saf that I got my kitchen from him too, any issues I had he sorted out immediately. Very professional and he really cares about customers and their satisfaction. Saf is so experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He is a legend. Best staff ever, cheers

Dealt with the Barking branch with a new kitchen and couldn't be happier! Saf was the great chap who helped measure and design the outlay for the kitchen, provide the documents and quote. Any issues he was easy to deal with and quick to respond, very happy with the service and our new kitchen!
