Wickes - Nottingham North レビュー 

My experience with wickes has been extremely poor. I would never ever advised or encourage anyone to get a bathroom or kitchen through them at all. Poor poor poor

The design stage was fine no issues there. They sat down with us and made sure we was happy with the design of the bathroom. And went through all the materials. They even told us about the finance they could offer us to make it affordable to get the new bathroom. So we was happy with that.

We was told that someone recommended by them would contact us in 3 weeks time to arrange an installation date. The tradesman did get in contact with us around 3 weeks later to look at the bathroom and arrange an installation date.

We was told that the project would take 2 weeks (10 days) to complete. The first date they told us they could start the work was 14th September. As the date was approaching we had a phone call from the tradesmen to say they would need to push it back one week to 21st September. We were not very happy about that but we said ok and thought at least it’s just a week. Then the we had another phone call to say the work couldn’t start until 28th September as the previous project they were doing was going to run over due to a long list of reasons.

We said it’s not ideal but ok. So the 28th September came and I messaged them to see what time they were coming as they had been messing me around all morning saying different times they would be coming. I told them I need to leave the house at 2pm as I had an appointment for my baby.

Whilst I was out they messaged me to say due to personal reasons they will not be able to come until the following day. This was just the beginning of what has been 5 weeks of hell.

They have not done a full days work since starting the project. Which I was told from wickes a full day is 8:30-5pm.

The tradesmen usually come between 10:30-11 and leave by 2:30-3pm. Which in my eyes is not a full days work. And that’s if they even show up. Most weeks they have not turned up on Mondays or Fridays with excuses ranging from attending funerals , two Fridays straight. Being the sickest they have ever been in their life! And throwing up all over their work van and having to go back home to whilst on their way to mine.

At one point the trademan had me helping them to install the shower screen. Which I did not feel comfortable with as I did not know what I was doing. Because they had come to my our house on a Saturday as they had hardly been there in the week!

We told wickes about our concerns multiple times in person (in store), via email and over the phone , only to be told they would contact the installation manager Billy. And nothing further in our eyes was done about the situation.

We believe that we have not been treated very well by wickes aftercare. I emailed Billy myself to no response. I have had to chase up the customer service department which have been apologetic but have offered no concrete solutions to our half finished bathroom.

If you take anything away from this review. I would say DO NOT and I mean DO NOT!!! Do any home improvements with wickes or find your own tradesmen! Because it’s been an awful experience! I believe any of the positive reviews about wickes on here are straight up Ai!!!

Went to Wickes Nottingham North and was furtunate enough to meet Ben K. His attitude and level of assistance was of the highest standard. Every store should have a Ben K. I have been a customer of this Wickes store since in opened, many many years ago, and can honestly say i have never been more impressed with the level of service that i received from Ben K. He is a credit to your business, i look forward to meeting him again on future visits. Thank you Ben!

I had a kitchen designed by Stuart at the nottingham branch. He made the whole process super easy, including his visit to measure up for me. Im really happy with the service would highly recommend, felt very looked after!

I made my order on Saturday for paint to be delivered as I couldn’t get into the store. From the moment I placed my order I’ve had updates and even a call to say as they didn’t have everything at one store they were organising the rest to come from another.
The first part of my order had been delivered by Marcin who was lovely and polite and more than helpful when delivering the items. Will definitely be buying from their on line department again . 10/10

Do Not Book a Free Bathroom Design Consultation with this store – a complete waste of time!

I had a bathroom design consultation booked today for 11:30am. I waited until 11:45am, but nobody arrived. I then contacted the store to ask for an update and was told by the manager that the design consultant had apparently left the store around 15 minutes earlier. This clearly meant there was no way the consultant was going to arrive on time for my 11:30am appointment.

I was told that the manager would look into it and call me back. Instead, the design consultant contacted me and claimed that she had attended my property, knocked on the door, and that nobody answered.

I questioned why, if that was genuinely the case, she had not called me at the time. I then asked to speak with the store manager, who backed up the consultant's account.

During the conversation, I said "I can't be asked", and I was then accused of swearing at the manager. I found this extremely disappointing, particularly given the circumstances.

I subsequently checked my CCTV footage, which clearly shows me entering my home shortly before the scheduled 11:30am appointment. The footage shows that no design consultant arrived at my property before or after I entered the house.

I am therefore extremely disappointed that, rather than acknowledging that the appointment had been missed or that there had been a communication issue, I was given an explanation that does not appear to match the CCTV evidence.

I will be escalating this matter formally and providing the relevant CCTV evidence. Customers should not be treated this way, particularly when they have made time for an appointment and are then left waiting.

Very disappointing experience and certainly not the level of customer service I expected.

Applying for the community fund was so easy. We never thought we would get the items and be lucky enough to make our outdoor area at school so much more appealing. Thank you so much Wickes!!!!!

Excellent planning and communication when choosing a new kitchen. Great quality. No hitches. Looks better than anticipated and fits space perfectly.

Visited wickes Mansfield road Daybrook Nottingham and I was helped by Kate on the kitchens and bathroom section she was very helpful with what I needed and spent time to help me thank you

Was served by tracey who helped me look for some paint. When we couldnt find it she proceeded to look in the back where it was stored.

She was pleasant and helpful and a great assest to the team.

As a female novice DIYer I always find the staff here so helpful and friendly. It’s far from intimidating for someone who more often than not, doesn’t know what they’re doing.
Having approachable (and knowledgeable) staff is an asset and this is the reason I use this store. Special thanks to Tracey today for her positive attitude and genuine smile! 😃

I delivered stock to Nottingham North branch and I was met by very friendly staff, beginning with yardman Ben K. and other lady I don't know the name of. When I was let in to use a toilet I walked by another friendly lady carrying stock and another one by the till. I wish all customer experience was so smiley like this one. Keep it up.

I go to this wickes very often to pick up supplies for house renovations. The staff will always point me in the right direction of what I need and the best way to go about it. From working in customer service myself I recognise how good they are.
Last time I was in, Tracey went above and beyond. her and the team looked through newly come in pallets to find me my product. She is always kind and welcoming each time I come in, will always ask how I am and how the renovations are going. Absolute star and the same goes for the rest of the team that works there.

I went in the store as my local store didnt have what i was desperately looking for but i did get it due to Tracey and Mark being very helpful and they do truly represent what wickes and great customer service is all about .
