Had great experience, helping staff and found required items organized

Caitlin was incredibly helpful and the Esker White kitchen exceeded my expectations! Caitlin went above and beyond, accommodating every request, ensuring everything was perfect. I highly recommend Caitlin to anyone looking for quality products and excellent service.

Excellent experience in Wickes. We were advised to use the painting and decorating department here by our decorator. The lady LISA, was really very helpful. She was extremely pleasant. She was also professional and knowledgeable. Excellent customer service which will make us visit here again.

Swift appointment available with a kitchen designer, Caitlin HILL, who spent over 1.5 hrs discussing right design at an affordable price , showing various available options at yhe Stockport show kitchen .
Initial Design emailed within a day .. this was revised swiftly at each design refinement . To finalise my order , she visited the property to ensure fit before taking money for the order .. all done efficiently within 1 week & within my budget 👍. Good communication throughout .

Went in for an emergency gas hob and oven. Very helpful young man Dan who sorted everything quickly and helped me get 10% off by setting up an account. Really pleased with the service at Wickes

I am absolutely appalled by the level of service and professionalism from the Stockport store. The entire kitchen design and installation process has been a nightmare, and I feel completely let down by Wickes.
The initial design was full of errors. The kitchen was measured incorrectly, leading to units that were too small. Even worse, the dishwasher was placed in a location where it couldn’t be fitted due to the mains water supply being in the way. I paid for a professionally designed kitchen, but what I got was an incomplete, poorly planned layout that was practically unusable.
I’ve been without a functioning kitchen due to these mistakes, and despite numerous calls and visits to the store, I was offered no real assistance. When they did assist it was too little, too late- I was told to "cut down units" to make it work, which is completely unacceptable. This is not what I paid for.
In addition, I’ve incurred significant additional fitting costs, had to cancel my flooring installation, and continue to be without basic facilities like a functioning kitchen, cooking, and washing up area. The lack of support from the store, combined with terrible communication from the store and customer relations, (who do not follow the complaints procedure and just pass you back to the store)has made this process an ongoing nightmare.
The entire experience with the Stockport store has been frustrating, time-consuming, and incredibly stressful. Wickes has failed to deliver on their promises and has shown no accountability for the mistakes made.
Avoid this store!!
I will not be recommending Wickes to anyone and will be taking this further if the issues are not addressed promptly.

After having had a mediocre kitchen design elsewhere, I visited Wickes in Stockport. I met John Wilson, who arranged to visit my property to take measurements. Within seconds of being in my kitchen he was brimming with ideas and it was obvious he had the new plan in his head already. I visited the store the following week to see his design and we talked through all colour options and appliances and made a couple of tweaks. John obviously has a wealth of experience and takes time to listen to your needs and then comes up with the goods. I’m so pleased with the design, it’s perfect, and can’t wait to see it come to life! Thanks John, top notch design by a top bloke!

John wilson was very polite and friendly and professional and provided us with all the information we required thank you for a lovely good service and a wonderful experience we have come away happy with our brand new kitchen we have purchased in Stockport Wickes store

Great experience picking up tiles today, helped by a great young man named Lewis who brought extra stock down and loaded my car for me. Fabulous

I attended the store early today looking and knowing that I would require assistance with my purchase as a non walking full time wheelchair user.

I only place this review and reveal my situation in the hope that management give “credit” where credit is due as my impossible task and purchase was made possible solely thanks to your staff member Jack.

I wasn’t enquiring about a bulb or box of nails but the physical help in the movement of the items bought and transfer to my car.
Trust me, asking for any help be it DIY or a tin of beans (obviously not Wickes) isn’t always easy without feeling that short straw feeling, but I was allocated Jack and likewise he me.

We exchanged chat, banter and the usual pleasantries, as you loaded and unloaded my purchases sending me off in a great frame of mind for the start of my day.

Your Stockport branch and its staff I’ve found have always been extremely helpful to me over many years and I’ve seen numerous staff. It would be fair to say that wheelchair DIY folk are few & far between but only made possible by the likes of Jack.

Been using Wickes Stockport for over 10 years, has always been a good experience, the staff make the place there.
Today Lucy helped me with an issue over an error on my part, great service and a great resolution! Thank you Lucy. Highly recommend.

We had several designs from a number of kitchen suppliers, however, we decided to run with Wickes Stockport. The designer, Caitlin Hill was clearly very knowledgeable and experienced in designing good working kitchens, which are both practically functional and aesthetically pleasing. We are extremely pleased with the result and can’t thank Caitlin enough for her time and patience.

Really happy with the design of our proposed Bathroom. It took two visits to and we did keep changing our minds but Caitlin the designer at Stockport branch was very patient. She was very knowledgeable and had a very good grasp of the modern designs we were interested in.

I’m giving five stars based on the Wickes Stockport store team member Dawn.
She was very helpful, she showed compassion and understanding when dealing with my claim. She was very informative.

Prior to contacting the Stockport store, I did speak to the Wickes head office customer service who I can just say were completely opposite! rude, directive and just sounded like they didn’t care. I didn’t even catch the name because she spoke that fast.

I would urge you to in future contact the local store directly because what’s the point in having a customer service team if you don’t get customer service!
