Wickes - Stockton レビュー 

Wickes advertised a special 15% discount day saying for online orders it would be auto applied at the checkout point. We made an order but only 10% was applied as the normal tradepro discount. The issue was raised with Wickes who said because my partners card we would have to. I tried to call multiple times but after being on hold for ages the line then auto disconnects (seems the can get auto functions to work when it suits them). My partner wrote authorising a refund only for a response to come to me to say you need to ring in or write (again). My partner tried calling with same effect, put on hold and auto disconnect. They are makingcthis extremely difficult to get a refund, initially I thought it was just a system error but now after the pain they are putting us through I suspect this is false advertising. My advice going forward is do not fall for the suggested 15% discount as if you do then you will only get 10% and Wickes will win again, best option is steer clear of Wickes.

Kitchen Installation began on 02/02/2025 and only just been completed. The first installer caused significant disruption by ripping out my kitchen and leaving the job, resulting in myself and my family being left without basic facilities and forced to live in my bedroom for over a week. Issues escalated when an incompetent electrician made dangerous errors, including leaving live wires exposed and deleting wire in my sons room in the side of my wall with the fuse board still on. I had to hire another electrician which cost me money to come and diagnose the problem, a dispute over additional charges arouse when he tried to bill me more money to fix his mistake, when i tried to dispute this I was told I don't know what I'm talking about, he's the professional and he wont be returning to complete the job due to me criticizing his terrible workmanship. Wicks did send an electrician out to fix the rest of the electrics after i refused to pay for the rest of the fixes out of my pocket, absolute disgrace for the Liam the manager to tell me to pay out my pocket to fix Wickes mistakes. The electrician did fix the mistake but left a hole in the wall of my sons bedroom, and couldn't be bothered to even fill the hole in, so he now has a nice hole in his wall I will have to repair at some point.
After waiting another week I was allocated another installer who did a reasonable job on the kitchen. he came and fitted the kitchen but left the boxing in and the aluminum splash back for about another 4 weeks, which was pretty distressing having to come down each morning to look at a half installed mess.

Moving on had the kitchen unit chipped and damaged, took about 3 weeks to rectify that, I had kitchen side panel damaged had to wait over a week for that to be delivered!

First panel arrived on 14/03/2025 arrived with panels extremely damaged and missing cupboard doors, despite the joiner clearly specifying the required items, Wickes failed once again to place the correct order.
The second delivery turned up on 21/03/2025 also arrived smashed up and the doors still missing again.

The third delivery turned up damaged again, luckily i was able to intercept the delivery and i refused the order at the door.
Additionally, my outside tap, which was fully functional before the kitchen installation no longer works as they've deleted it completely.

Wicks customer service is horrendous, I had Craig from the Wickes installation service team, the bloke was literally impossible to get hold off! I just got diverted to other members of the call center which made it extremely exhausting having to explain everything over again and again. I have been lied to on numerous times about receiving a call back from Craig, i have received numerous moments of slope shoulders, telling me they don't deal with this and that, which results in you having to ring almost every department and having to hang the phone up in complete frustration.
I have made complaints to the customer complaints as instructed by the installation team which resulted in no reply back what so ever.

This company is awful, I tried to get my money back after the first installer walked of the job so I could find another kitchen fitter locally, I was told my David staines the design consultant that I wasn't eligible for a refund due to them starting the installation, as soon as this company takes your money and you have problems you're in for a bad time, I can assure you. My best advice is stay clear of Wickes go and find a local decent installer who values customer feedback, wicks don't! Considering the amount of money I have spent, I have been treat extremely bad. It shouldn't almost take 4 months to fit a small L shaped kitchen. Wickes are apparently sorting my compensation out for all the trouble but every time I ring them, I just get the usual rubbish its not ready yet and they' call me back in a few hours, which obviously they don't.

Wow, wow, wow! I have just visited Wickers in Middlesbrough. What can I say? The customer service is amazing! I used to work in retail and I too treated all my customers well. I was served by a lovely woman called Hillary; nothing was too much trouble for her. I hope that someday all stores will be like this. Thank you, Hillary! See you soon.

I contacted Wickes for a quote for a new bathroom and the whole process from start to finish was impeccable.
I was assigned David Staines as my design consultant and he worked with me and my family to help us design the bathroom of our dreams. There was no pushy salesmanship or pressure. Anything we asked for we were shown our options and felt really supported.
Once the design was complete we were handed over to a customer experience manager who kept in contact with us throughout, we knew exactly what to expect and when and received emails and phone calls.
We were then assigned a builder Peter who was the nicest man, really chatty and so so skilled at what he does. Peter kept us informed throughout the change from one bathroom to the next and gave us his number so we could contact him with any issues or changes.
Right at the end of the completion it was noticed that the wrong bathroom mirror had been delivered, everyone from David our design consultant, Darren out customer service lead and Peter out builder where part of helping figure out what had happened and getting the mirror exchange sorted.
The new bathroom is beyond what we could ever have dreamed it would be.
I would throughly recommend Wickes to anyone thinking of changing their bathroom.

I visited the store and was very impressed with the level of service I received from a young man called Ethan. The kitchen show room staff had left for the evening and he did his very best to help me with finding what I wanted. Then when buying tiles, he offers to help me out to the car! Well done Wickes for employing people who are willing to go above and beyond! It was very refreshing😊

I came a few times with my family, to buy some bits and bobs at wickes. I just want to say a big thanks to an amazing, worker called ABBEY who is absolutely enthusiastic, kind, and polite, and most importantly well mannered.

Re.my new bathroom. I had excellent help from the designer consultant David Staines at wickes Stockton in making choices and I am delighted with the installation of the final product. Mark boros and Andy Phillips did a great job with great attention to detail. A big thank you to all. From Maureen thersby at yarm. Transformation to be proud of!

Our kitchen designer Zoe was absolutely incredible! Could not recommend her enough!! She listened to everything we wanted and helped us to create our dream kitchen which was still within our budget! We love it!

Dave at Stockton branch did a great job, friendly, professional and efficient from start to finish. A few little issues that you would expect on such a large job along the way but he did a great job at sorting them out. Also the fitter John did a cracking job with great workmanship. Would recommend.

Booked an appointment to discuss a new bathroom at the Stockton store. Took the measurements along thinking id get some visuals of how it could look. The guy at Wickes didnt even introduce himself. Looked at the diagram and measurements of bathroom, asked if ceiling was in good condition (more than once) and whether my loft was boarded out....failed to explain why this was important. Asked about how it was currently tiled. I said I had seen a bath i liked and was told abrubtly that bath wouldnt fit. He then said I was looking at £7 - £9k ....no designs shown, no products shown. I ended the appointment at this point as felt he just could not be bothered. 12 minutes of my life wasted!

We went in 2cdays ago after organising an appointment with Ryan. Nice chap, however, we wanted Kitchen Units fitted in a Utility Room, and as we had a new toilet & Macerator already installed, he told us that they would have to be ripped out and re-enstalled otherwise the work with the cupboards and sink would not covered by Wickes guarantee. He also ignored my plan suggesting his plan and came up with an estimate of £8000! It's a 9 foot by 6 foot room and we wanted new cupboards! This took so long I felt assaulted by the time I left. To be fair Ryan did say he would try to get the price down, but for heavens sake rip out a new Toilet and Macerator! Wickes should be reported for causing waste in the Environment. We felt the whole experience was horrifying. We have had a Kitchen and Bathroom fitted by Darlington Wickes in the past 3 years, and they were fabulous, but now Darlingtons gone, you have to go yo Stockton. Needless to say, my husband rang and cancelled any further appointment and today we went to Magnet & Southerns, I got my plan, not some one else's idea, really beautiful units and extras I required, we had fabulous Imogen deal with us. It was a wonderful visit, we can keep our new Loo and Macerator and all the units and fitting are guaranteed, and under half the cost of what Ryan quoted. I will never go near Stockton Wickes again, and certainly would not recommend them.

We have just had our kitchen fitted from Wickes in Stockton-on-Tees and we’re absolutely over the moon with it. The quality is exceptional. The work from start to finish was brilliant. Our Designer was Dave Staines who was absolutely brilliant. Designed our kitchen and gave ideas to make our dream kitchen. I would definitely recommend the Store and our designer Dave. Our installation guy Tony was also of a very high standard. 10/10 from us.

David was very helpful and friendly and planned my kitchen well. He also came out to check my measurements and dropped off a touch up kit quickly when I noticed some minor damage. This has worked perfectly and I am thrilled with the new kitchen. Thank you!
