Williams and Yates handled a huge move and extensive storage for us this week with seamless service from the early quote stage to the final box being loaded on the van.

Superb information and communication throughout , first rate protective packing materials were used and enormous care was taken with antique furniture, valuable paintings and mirrors.

Well done and thank you to Dylan, Marco and team on the day, and thank you for the helpful liaison from Dwayne during the move itself. Emma, Sue and Deb all incredibly efficient.

I was given photo evidence of the careful packing into containers, which, along with the very helpful insurance plan, was very reassuring.

The house was absolutely immaculate when they left (way ahead of thier target time) and they could not have treated our home or belongings with greater care or consideration.

This is the third move Williams and Yates have done for my family in the last 3 years, with another one scheduled in the diary for October 2027. Worth every penny and providing absolutely flawless service and delivery. I wouldn't even consider another firm. Williams and Yates are the most helpful, cheerful, polite and considerate movers we have ever used.

I'm really happy with our move from UK to US with Williams & Yates. Firstly, they gave us one of the most transparent and detailed quotes (I reached out to 6 companies). Every step clearly explained, no hidden surprises.

Then, Louise and her team packed everything with real care and system in place. They had great banter among themselves which in my opinion is always a good sign of a well-functioning team.

While packing was underway, Maria, our international move coordinator, was already on it, incredibly proactive, managed all our paperwork, kept us updated on when the shipment was leaving the UK and when to expect it in New York. It arrived exactly on the estimated date.

The local New York team then took over the process, also keeping us in the loop on customs and delivery timelines.

They are genuinely meticulous about their process. Highly recommend for any international move.

I had to move a very small amount of household goods and furniture from the UK to the US.

Everyone at Williams and Yates were professional, efficient and friendly. The pickup went smoothly and I had every confidence in the packing process. During transit I received updates and before the delivery I had several telephone calls making sure the date and times offered worked for me.

I wholeheartedly recommend Williams and Yates for any size of move.

Excellent service and would highly recommend. The team cane to collect a piano which was being shipped to Australia. They were incredibly professional but also friendly. Very careful with the piano and also with the house when moving the piano to their vehicle. The whole process was efficient and all communication with the company was superb from my initial enquiry right through to collection and beyond.

Terrible experience, and now it seems I'm getting ghosted.

Used their services as I'd used them years ago, and all had gone well. Moved from Paris to London, and was sent an expensive quote, but, fine, premium service. The quote included storage for extra items once back in the UK, and I did not confirm any access to the building in London (including things like lift size), since I didn't have that information. Was told not to worry, they knew what they were doing.

Everything pre-move was great, strong communication, professional services, etc. During the move, which was in mid-August, things went downhill:
- I had to pay for customs as I was not able to get a tax duty relief letter in time, and later learnt I was overcharged. I am still waiting to know the exact amount I should have paid and get a refund for the difference.
- Two men came to do the London side of the move. I was told then that the lift was too small, and they wouldn't be able to complete all the tasks to do, so they had to come back three days later, charging us for it "at a highly discounted rate" of £650. Again, I had never committed to lift size so... wtf. We were stuck, so we paid. (Also was initially told this was my mistake and I hadn't given them all the info. When I re-forwarded the emails with me being crystal clear, they changed their stance and said they hadn't sent enough men)
- Multiple high value items (a large mirror, our dining table, etc.) were broken, as well as some family heirlooms (champagne glasses from my grandparents) that I told them to watch out for. They wrapped those glasses in paper and put them in a regular moving box, not a glasses one, so 2 out of the 6 broke.
- They left some of our items in Paris, still waiting for confirmation we've got them back.
- I was quoted an amount for the items we'd still have in storage, and now am being told it's going to be 3 times that amount.

After a few exchanges on whats app to clarify some things and letting them know I was starting a new job (ie. not very available), I have actively been chasing for over a week now to:
- Get moving on refunds on the broken items
- Get a contract or something official that shows where our stored items are & the parameters (how to get it back, notice periods, etc.) - for now, we have only a handwritten inventory showing they have some of our stuff - also, that inventory shows items which don't exist
- Get the refund on the overpaid tax bill
- I've asked to be refunded the £650 too as it was absolutely not our mistake

No answer since August 20th from our account manager (whether on what's app or email), and their finance service just sent me the "updated" (3 times more expensive) bill for our storage. Baffling.

I'd be happy to revisit this review if they finally get in touch and sort this out. As this stage, there is more mental/financial load on me to replace the broken items and chase them, in addition to the anger I feel at having been taken advantage of. I expect a gesture on their part to compensate for what I can only describe as a shitshow of a move.

Great services moving valuables from France to the U.K. took care of all the customs paperwork also. Delivery team were friendly and look after the valuables which arrived in perfect condition.

On time, helpful, efficient, careful and a really good crew that made the move a lot less stressful.

Cameron and Dylan were fantastic. They were professional, friendly and incredibly efficient, and made the whole moving process feel very smooth and stress-free. Really happy with the service so far!

Fantastic experience, beginning to end. Great customer service from Emma and the team in the office upfront and during the move. The movers themselves turned up on time, in uniform, were professional and throroughly decent guys! Shout out to Grant, Cameron and Corey - lovely fellas. Might not be the cheapest option but as the saying goes: you get what you pay for! Would use again and recommend in a heatbeat!

Working with Aaron and Louise made the process of moving to Qatar possible in difficult times. As sea freight was not possible or extremely difficult Aaron took us through the process of air freight. Louise did all the packing making sure we utilized all the available capacity while keeping an eye on weight so we wouldn’t incur additional charges. The local team in Doha were really helpful and couldn’t do enough. Everything arrived in perfect condition. I would definitely recommend Williams and Yates and would use them for future relocations.

The two guys who came to help uncrate our huge 2-metre painting and mount it on the wall were so polite, friendly, knowledgeable, adaptable and understanding. They took real care and were precise with their work. Total lifesavers. Would completely recommend to anyone and will use again.

Seamless and professional experience. The crew (Tommy, Alan, Marlon, Corey & Ryan C ) who packed and did the removals were friendly, efficient, and took care of our possessions. I really appreciated how easy this whole experience was. Thank you!

We recently used Williams & Yates for an international relocation from London to Singapore. Given their strong online reputation and high ratings, our expectations were high. Unfortunately, the overall experience was deeply disappointing.

While the initial coordination and packing team in London seemed efficient, the end result fell far short of professional standards:

Item Damage:
Multiple high-value, sensitive items arrived damaged. For a long-haul international move, we expected far greater care in protective wrapping and handling.

Insurance Claim in Limbo:
Dealing with the aftermath has been the most frustrating part. While I was late in submitting the claim. The insurance claim process has dragged on with little to no progress, leaving resolution entirely in limbo. If there is no means of getting any compensation for missing the submission deadline, at least have the decency to state it upfront rather than dragging it for weeks.

When paying for a premium moving service, you expect both the physical care of your possessions and the after-sales support to match. Sadly, neither delivered in our case. I would advise anyone moving high-value items internationally with them to proceed with caution.

From initial enquiry to follow-up aftercare, the team at this company were efficient, friendly, helpful and thoroughly professional.
Ryan, Alex, Jordan, Marco and Ben worked diligently to pack all my belongings into the lorry, and Jason and Harry have to be commended for emptying the lorry into my French house in the middle of a heatwave. (It was amazing to witness a huge lorry reversing effortlessly into my tiny French village road!)
Sue, Aaron and Ayden were such a support to me whenever I had any enquiry, or concern.
Every item was packed with care and nothing was broken or damaged. Outstanding!! ✨

From the first moment that I spoke to the team at Williams and Yates, everything felt comfortable and professional. Nicky did a great job of keeping up to date with me throughout the long sale process, and I was actually a little sad that she was on holiday when I could finally book in when exchanging, as we'd spent so much time on the phone! I was really glad that Emma the team managed to squeeze me in during a really busy week for them and the guys! On day one, the pack of the move was seamless and then the move day happened...not so seamless, but nothing to do with the movers - but the solicitors! Even with the afternoon heat (hottest day of the year), Michael C, Grant, Jordan, Covel & Luca always kept a positive mood for us all and I'm super grateful for them for shifting the boxes in the heat. All in all a great service and move.

We moved goods from the UK to The Netherlands. Quote, paperwork, and physical move was done very efficient and with high quality of packing. No damage, all on time and very flexible in the approach. I used Williams & Yates for my move from London to California, and I had a great experience. The packing crew was very professional, efficient, and careful with everything. Maria Rodriguez, the international agent, stayed in touch with us throughout the whole process and kept us updated. All of our belongings arrived in pristine condition. I would definitely recommend them!
