The work was carried out professionally without little to no clean up afterwards. The quote/cost of £2300 I felt was very expensive for covering around just over half a wall with membrane and plaster. The company however did remove the additional cost of £210 for the survey.

These guys really know what they are doing. From survey to admin they are top notch.

We would advise to stay away from this company.

We had damp report done as part as an offer we made on our property. We got some obvious things back with the age of the property but the damp report did not advise of any work needing carried out more advice from other contractors and precautionary advice, fitting better extracted fans and so on.

Within 3 weeks of being in we had found where the damp meter readings were coming from. There was a cupboard that was missed from our damp report with black mould in it and the floor was soaking.

We got in touch with the company and got a customer service advisor that needs some work in customer service. They went on the defensive very quickly and we’re told if we wanted someone to come out it would be £150 plus VAT, for a job that had already been done.

After advising about leaving a bad review someone else got in touch to explain it was a dry day in August our report was done (if your getting a damp report done make sure it’s on a wet day apparently)
Again the advisor was backing their team explain after sending picture that this was a new problem, obviously from the worst place we have found water and mould) this was missed from the report.

The advisor explained we would just need to agree to disagree.

If your sending out a company to organise a damp report you expect them to look high and low for the problem and I believe this is wasn’t done to the full ability going on to blame everyone but themselves.

Wise property have been working on my property over the last 8 years treating damp as I tackle each room individually. They have been excellent throughout.

My most recent experience was no exception. Kevin was polite, explained what he was going to do and how long it would take. Answered any questions and most importantly cleaned thoroughly and checked with me that everything was to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend Wise Property Care.

I asked Wise in to sort out a problem with woodworm.
Following the initial survey, Grant arrived on site to carry out the work. He explained the process and answered all my questions.
A good job done, with some tips for other building works needed, of which there are enough to keep me busy for some time.

William Mulgrew came and assessed the damp issues in this house. A great mine of information, very helpful and courteous. Not only was the report in my email that evening, he also quickly answered questions that I threw back at him. While technically easy to sort and therefore won't be done by WPC, I will have him round to doublecheck that everything has been done correctly.

Wullie and Kevin worked tirelessly to sort out our dry rot problem. Kevin also worked closely with our replacement door contractor to finish the job off. Excellent service.

This company disaplayed a degree of negligence that's hard to credit. I wish I could post some photos I took of the atrocious wooodwork they did. We employed them to identify damp sources in the basement of a property we'd just bought: they failed in that, 110%. The surveyor overseeing the work took an initial damp reading of the base of a bathroom door lining, sent in a work crew to tear up the bathroom floor and after the foreman stated"No damp here," which was true, the damp was everywhere else!! We are now having to have the whole basement tanked - 95sq mts - because the problem with rising damp is so pervasive. And then we have been hounded to pay the balance of their very significant bill without any acknowledgement of our concerns about their absymal performance. We used Trusted Trader as an ombudsman to mediate with Wise Property Care but they were useless. Our experience of working with this company was truly horrible - avoid them like the plague!

Really knew his stuff and was a quick and tidy job

Company turned up when they said they would & did the job within timescale. Kev did very messy job with minimum of hassle & tidied up well afterwards. Now waiting on plasterwork fully drying out before decorating & would have no problem using them again or recommending for work.

The whole team really worked with us to get a challenging job done. The results were excellent. Thanks to Jay and Lance for their thorough work.
