Brierley Hill / Dudley branch, not normally one for giving reviews but I have to say Kim and the staff at this branch are above and beyond. Our boiler broke and we needed to get the new one urgent for the fitter. I rang the store at 7.15 in the morning and Kim answered the call she was really helpful on the phone. We were able to pick up the boiler at 7.30 a couple of days later but the flu wasn’t in because they had been let down by a supplier. So
Kim had arranged for another member of staff to go to Telford and pick it up and he was going to drop it off at our house later that morning. All of the staff were happy, helpful and welcoming even at 7.30 in the morning. wolseley must be a nice place to work. The guy who delivered the part (so sorry I didn’t catch his name) but he called when on the way and was also happy and polite. Will definitely recommend and Wolseley will be our first call in future for plumbing help.

Not in the habit of writing reviews.
Needed a new button for a cable operated toilet cistern.
Explained this to the guy behind the counter, so he went went looking for something to get me out of a fix, came back a short while later with three 'possibles' , I bought the one I thought most suitable.
Tried it, but not quite long enough, so returned at five minutes to twelve , on a Saturday!
I said the part choice was a gamble but that's life. He then suggested a whole unit, and demonstrated how it came apart( I realized later I had been quoting wrong brand name)
Fitted the part, using his instructions, was real 'plug & play', in under a minute.
Was a true credit to counter staff everywhere

Order was delayed, didn't arrive on the revised date. Asked where it was and didn't arrive the second time. Had to cancel with no explanation or apology. I've lost two weeks wasting time with Wolsely

I have always had an excellent experience shopping at Plumb Centre - Barnsley. I have shoppped here for over 20 years. Last week though, Gavin Campbell really came through for me. I phoned his personal phone at around 8pm as I was desperate for parts for the next day. Gavin found parts availible for me at Oxford Pipe Centre and the remaining ones were not showing nationwide, I had mentioned that these were available through the manufacturer Lochinvar. Gavin put in place for me to collect direct from the manufacturer the next day. This led me to be able to complete the job within 24 hours which kept our clients hotel happy. Excellent service from Gavin and Wolseley !!

My past Knowledge on the Wolseley group gives me justification on the company .

Have plenty of scope for improvement . They take orders online , Then contact you to say goods will not be arriving on the date . Local centres do not pick up phones but most of all no interaction with accounts that are newly opened . The Staff are constantly under pressure and need external operations to lift there spirits and educate a understanding of the trade and its products.

I went into Wolseley in North Finchley to order a radiator and valves. The valves were exorbitantly expensive but not knowing any better, I ordered them anyway. I received the radiator a day later and my builder told me that the valves should have been around £10 each and to take back the £43 ones. Yes….£43 for a radiator valve. This I did and was greeted with a little disdain but Hey Ho….I don’t have money to burn. Upon opening the radiator, the builder notified me that instead of 1000x450 i got 450x1000. This was not what I had asked for but not recognising the difference in the packaging I took it with me. Returning it this morning I was eventually given a refund and when I tried to order the correct size was told that the Manager would rather not have me as a customer as all I did was return things! Perhaps if they didn’t try and rip me off and sold me what I had asked for, this wouldn’t have been the case! I left and went next door and bought the radiator without any fuss and was told if it wasn’t correct, bring it back!
Wolseley, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I’m not a builder, not a plumber just a female member of the public asking for advise and a radiator. For anyone looking for a radiator and valves - go to City Plumbing. They give advise, are extremely polite, helpful and offer coffee! Would definitely recommend them and advise stay away from Wolseley.

Went into Wolseley Barnsley store this morning spoke to a very nice young man named Jack is skills an knowledge second to none ordered our radiator after Jack had made a phone call to make sure product available job done Jack is a very polite lad an well mannered a credit to Wolseley and to himself

Generally good. Click and collect Web orders work fine, valid returns work fine with prompt return of funds.

In store can be a bit variable depending on who you get (some staff excellent, others less so) - “we haven’t got any - they’re all reserved” some staff don’t get how click and collect adjusts their live stock levels, so the click and collect order is the “reserved” one.

Wolsley Barnsley is my one stop shop for my gas business. From lube to large pipe, boilers to taps jack is the man that can.

Gav is the top parts man, always able to find what I need. Knows his boiler spares and always a pleasure to deal with.

Iwent in to hyton worsley pluming parts liverpool i was given the part i needed in 1 peice and the part in bits so wen i got the job i replaced the part and rang up i paid cash that day so i asked for my 75 pound back told no cash here asked me to come in next day for cash thay never had it so i waited till friday rang bk still never had it so wet in wer thay said check will be in post its now 2weeks later and still no check hust very poor company

I moved house and found my new property had an old Plumb Centre central heating controller. I contacted the main Wolseley head office and asked if they had a user manual they could email to me. A very helpful person called Tyla B dug into their archives and was able to provide me with exactly what I needed.

First class service.

Crap service, staff rude and bad communication. Hopefully this is only leatherhead branch.

I bought a MySON hub from Wolseley Colindale, I am very sorry for it.
The Hub was faulty and Myson technical support told me to return to the reseller with a case number. I bought the hub for £216.90 on Friday and returned it on Monday. So far, they have refused to fully refund the purchase. They said since they ordered this item from Myson. I need to wait for their issue with myson to get resolved.
I paid Wolseley and they have provided a faulty good.
Myson on their website introduced Wolseley as their official distributor. they are to blame here too.

Wolseley Redhill manager is mr unhelpful, bad attitude , can’t be asked I wondered why the place is never very busy! Best advice is just use HPS opposite they are friendly & so much more helpful & they put themselves out.

I needed an impeller fan for my boiler. The idiot at the counter said I needed the make of the boiler. Told him it was a Glow-worm Ultimate 30FF, which wasn't good enough for the jackaxx. 'We have lots of fans here,' said the clown. I went onto their website and saw that they sold just ONE of these fans. Bought it and the boiler works fine now.

Excellent service, quick delivery. Driver, Steve was helpful, professional and efficient. Unloaded our 5 x 25kg bags of salt quickly and where I asked him to. Thank you
