I bought a car from them, It was advertised as having a small defect which after speaking to mechanic was told wasn't a huge issue. I purchased the car took it to the garage to be told it needs a whole new engine, which I'm positive they knew about. It has cost me a lot of money to fix. I would not recommend anyone purchasing a vehicle from them. Very untrustworthy.

I recently bought a Porsche Boxster S from Woods of Wirral and on collection the rear view mirror was detached from the windscreen and there was a major blemish due to bird guano. As I had travelled 300 miles to pick up the car I agreed with the garage to sort the mirror at home and they wood pay. Initially the garage tried getting me to claim on the warranty or on my insurance. I refused. Quotes from Porsche was that I needed a new screen but I spent hours and took time off work to get it sorted properly without the need for a new screen. This saved Woods of Wirral over £750. I asked them as a good will gesture to reimburse me for my time and effort. They have not responded to my email and after speaking to Greg the salesman, the owner has flatly refused anything except £78 that I paid to get it sorted. The garage is not interested after you drive away. A lesson learnt for me. Make sure the car is 100% as you expect before driving away.

Richard was very helpful and made the whole buying process easy. Very friendly and helpful staff would buy from again.

Stay clear bought a car and told it was all good with service history and checked. After 1 week realised auto stop start was not working needed a new battery which they garage covered for me after a few calls and emails. Something niggled me about the car as the odd light would come on then go off, got my own service done which revealed it needed a new wet belt which are costly, Emailed aftersales a couple of times and had email back asking what I wanted then to do, I sent cost with receipt as proof of what I had paid out. Informed the owner was on holiday and would contact me on return they returned 2 weeks ago and I have had no email or call. Next is legal action

Bought a car from this dealer. The car itself drove fine.

However, the vehicle had an IVA history (2018) which was not disclosed at the time of sale. This only became clear when I tried to sell it.

A dealership pulled out after seeing this on the V5C, and I had to sell the car at a reduced price.

This is important information that impacts value and resale. It should be disclosed upfront.

Make sure you do your own checks before buying.

Car sold Unfit to drive and dirty on collection. Right to Reject was delayed.
I had the car health checked after purchase which failed with several issues and was unfit to drive! After being told told car had just had a service

Travelled a 2.5hr round trip to look at a car that was supposedly ready to drive away, to find it covered in mould.

I bought a car from this dealership they advertised the car incorrectly misleading me into a purchase, after purchasing I came to repair my vehicle thats when it all went wrong, the car is discontinued and parts suspended from manufacturer.

Filed complaint with trading standards and finance I will be following up with ombudsman.

Dealership ignored me complete, email, voice mail and missed calls never got back to me.

After care is non-existent.
This has impacted my mental health greatly. I don't trust them and if I was told about the car I wouldn't never of purchased it

I experienced excellent customer service. They handled all the paperwork and even took care of the car's tax on the spot. Took the pain right away. They were upfront about the car having no warranty due to its age (a 2012 model with 96,000 miles, diesel). They also clarified that they do not perform mechanical inspections. However, the car had passed its MOT just a month prior, and they showed me the advisory sheet, which informed my decision to buy.

Unfortunately, a week later, the head gasket blew up costing around £2,000 to repair. Now, I'm worse off without a car. My advice to other customers is: don't make the same mistake I did. If a car isn't sold with a warranty, consider it a potential risk not worth taking. It could be a ticking time bomb.

After buying a vehicle from this garage I had some issues regarding the MOT and missing parts that should have been with the car Its handbooks and back parcel shelf. Woods would not replace them saying thats how we bought the car. Without going into to much detail the MOT was legal bbut borderline. They give you a 3 month warranty value £500 not worth the paper Its written on. They would not even pay me the small amount I had to pay out for the parcel shelf and handbooks £79.00. So please do yourself a big favour and buy elswhere. Check out the online reviews plenty of other dissatisfied customers. I would not buy another vehicle on principle from this back street garage a back street family run business of sharks.

They lied about the warranty. It’s cost me thousands. Don’t buy a car from them if you don’t want to get ripped off
