Highly unprofessional
Booking cancelled due to their fault, full refund not given.
I made a booking via booking.com. After booking and having already paid, I was informed that an error in their system meant that there were no more rooms available at this property.
I appreciate that they offered similar properties nearby, but they did not match the one I had booked.
I therefore chose to take a refund, but when the refund was issued they had subtracted a bank transfer fee from the amount. When I raised this as an issue, they refused to compensate me for the full amount of the booking, even though it was entirely their fault that it was cancelled.
