I did not take the taxi but I witness yellow cap dogging a side oncoming car !!! Of course the other car is in the wrong , I would say most car would have crash but the driver 0577 PS number plate was quick and miss the mishap ! Wow ! I was behind him and saw it and I thought to send this review to him and he is a good driver!

Most disgraceful service in Australia!

On 5-Aug-2025 I caught yellow taxi cab from Inala Plaza to Wishart. Usually cost between $35-38 via Uber. But yeallow taxi cheated me to start with $6.50 plus $3.70 per meter. And ended he charged me $60.40 for not having any traffic jam.

When I asked the driver why they charge us so much. He said this is because governent asked them to do so. Which this is not the truth. I lived in Australia more than 30 years, never heard of that.

Besides, this driver driving under 60 on the 80 kilometers fast line, and most of the time he driving around 45 kilometers per hour. I aksed him numerous time to catch up his speed limit, but he still won't do that. It is so dangerous on the road that everyone does their speed limit but our car is far under the limits and driving in the fast line.

The most disgraceful is: after I sent my complaint email to Yellow Taxi Customer Care, they told me they didn't overcharge me with their own estimate price. Which this is totally false.

All people living in Brisbane that use the cab they know, from Inala to Wishart not possible over $40 with normal traffic.

This clearly showing how disgraceful Yellow Taxi's management with their untruthful behaviour.

Please DONOT USE YELLOW TAXI, BETTER USE UBER OR SILVER TAXI SERVICE if you can. So, you won't have this disgusting experience like I had.

Booked a 6 seater at 8pm for a return journey at 11:30pm told to hold while they confirm a 6 seater available told yes all confirmed and booked. Taxi arrived eventually at 11:50 as a 4 seater leaving 2 people stranded at venue. Not happy customer!!!!!!!

Booked yellow cab in advance as I was flying in late with multiple connecting flights, I didn’t want the hassle of there being no cabs out front. It arrived early, sent me live tracking of his travel time. Was happy with the service. Will book again!

I stopped in San Francisco on the way from Australia to London and decided to get a cab to the Golden Gate Bridge to use up some time. I was quoted 60 USD flat rate return. The mistake I made was not paying up front. I gave her a 10 USD tip making 70 USD in total. I did not get a receipt because it was a flat rate and I trusted her (Kay or Kulwinder Kaur). Later, I saw on my credit card that I had been charged the equivalent of 188 USD - daylight robbery! She thought she would get away with it because I was moving on to another country. I have raised the issue with them but they have stopped communication for some reason. Also, she drove like a rally driver, ignoring speed limits and was on her mobile phone while driving.

San Francisco Yellow Cab works fine for me if it shows, but if they don't have enough cars, they also don't have customer service. Disabled senior here. I waited in the San Francisco cold far too long this morning and ended up on buses just to get warm and moving. Don't waste your time. If they don't come, don't get mad, just cancel and use another service. Having an easy-to-remember phone number doesn't mean the service is there. Also, their website is 530 frozen at this writing. Sorry, Yellow!

On my trip from home, the cab I hailed, which had a Curb logo on the window, had a screen that didn't display the pair and pay code. I needed to pay with a credit card rather than the app.

On my way home, I hailed a cab using the Curb app. I needed to have the cab stop at a corner on the route to let my friend out. Initially, the driver aggressively refused to do this. Only after a very tense exchange did he agree.

Curb should be helping Yellow Cab to meet the competition from Lyft and Uber, these problems are hurting, not helping. Yellow Cab should be proactive in asking Curb to address these issues. Recurring problems like this are making me consider switching to Lyft or Uber.

Taxi calls says it’s outside my home then it’s not so I call and the dispatch was arguing with me that it is in form of my house .. rudest lady . Nope don’t use them

I WAS PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED AND ATTACKED BY ONE OF THEIR DRIVERS TODAY AFTER HE CHANGED MY PRICE UPON ARRIVAL TO MY DESTINATION. HE PULLED MY HAIR AND HIT ME AFTER LOCKING ME IN THE BACK SEAT OF HIS CAR. YES, I CALLED THE POLICE AND YES I WILL BE FILING A LAW SUIT.

Just paid £40 just to travel 7 miles if that, if you think that is acceptable hang your head in shame, from now on I will only use UBER in Swansea, for price for a far journey.

It's OK for customers to wait 30 to 40 mins for a taxi, but a taxi driver can't wait 1 minute for me, shocking service, no wondr everyone's going with uber

Hi I would just like to tell you after being let down last night by another taxi firm I rang yellow cab to order 2 taxis and there were both there be a few minutes excellent service and will definitely use again.

The most unreliable taxi compony in Vancouver.
I called them more than 24 hours before my flight to order a mini van to the air port and the customer service representative told me that there is no guarantee that I will have the taxi on time , no matter how early I will order it and no guarantee that the car will fit all our luggage. So what the point to rely on them . Just this company is useless. I would have given them - 10 stars if I would have the choice.

This driver purposefully took an extended route to prolong the drive and increase the fare by $10 dollars, costing me $56 for the trip. The trip from LAX to 90025 is typically between $37 and $42 before tip, in heavy traffic. I take this trip several times a month. He is a crook. I will never take a yellow cab again and will be posting a negative review online. Cab 6137 should be ashamed for their behavior. [Driver name: Shafiqul Islam ]

Caught a yellow cab this morning after getting in cab I realized I left my wallet at home I told the driver but I had already called location I was going to and the lady's husband was going to cover cost of cab..I was going to work the driver heard my conversation with where I was going but then suddenly he gets pissed calls me all kinds of names saying I'm homeless..but he was dead wrong..I've decided to never use yellow cab again!!

i booked a wheelchair cab 2 weeks in advance. Last night,the night before my appt, i made sure they were coming as it was an important dental appointment. They said be to be waiting outside early at 1130. i was out there by 11. No cab ever came. i waited until 1230. When the office was called, they said their wheelchair cab was busy all morning so could not pick me up at 1130 as promised. It couldn't be there until after 1, they said and could not promise a time,. My appointment was at one so I missed it, The dental office said they could not fit me in later. i will never book Yellowcab again. Not only that, the cab showed up at the dental officel to take me home at 330. they called my friend who did the booking and said they could not find me, she said ''since you never showed up to take her to the appointment, that is why she was not there, readyto go home.'' She never got there and she is in a awheelchair so it isnt easy for her to get to places.'' Yellow Cab, you made all the mistakes. You told me to be down there early for pick up and i was. since you never picked m up, why did you think i would need a ride home from the dentist?

I used Yellow Cabs Des Moines all the time I visited there. This was a Bucket List trip for me as I was going to visit John Waynes Birth Place Museum in Winterset. The Driver that took me there was Mike Doland who is great to chat to and also made sure I got to and returned from Winterset. Good company to deal with.

Excited taxi service into town and then from tescos supermarket in swansea. great service arrived at my destination safely. Will be travelling again with yellow cabs.

The driver asked for a higher price and mandatory tip, and he smoked during the trip. Uber is much better.

One needs to rethink in Taxi vs Uber & Lyft. Just for the heck of it, while at LaGuardia Airport heading to the Manhattan I had a thought in checking prices. To my surprise, the yellow taxi was $8.00 cheaper than Uber. So yes, I took the taxi and had a great experience. Just a heads up guys.
