Yabla レビュー

The most valuable and effective language learning tool available.

Yabla Italian has been an important part of my life for many years. It covers every aspect of learning a language. I have learnt so much from Yabla. Can't thank you enough.

I enjoy the process but wish the videos were able to be located by topic as well. It takes a lot of time to find something I can use when needed. Otherwise it is an excellent program. I really like the vocabulary reviews and activities.

¡Cabeza y hombros por encima de cualquier otra cosa!
Scribe y speak son herramientas increibles

The website is better organized than the iPadOS app, but since both are available, it’s not a big problem.

The workout, warm-up and speak features now available with many of the videos is a big help.

there are so many ways to listen and learn. Being able to stop the videos and look up words is very helpful. The games section aids in learning new vocabulary.

There is so much variety on Yabla and it has something for all levels. Good to hear “real French” being spoken and being able to follow it with subtitles.

Yabla is a great way to learn a foreign language. Its multi-modal method promotes success.

It's a nice small company that looks after its customers and cares about them. I find it's a better way to learn Italian than some others I have tried (Babbel, Rocket), there's less English, more authentic Italian material and not so much like a computer game (like the kind you buy as a phone app), more like a proper language lesson.

There is variety of contents to choose from. But personally it is not easy to find really interesting ones. Comparing to Yabra-Italian I am very happy with, overall quality of French one is disappointing. Exercises are oriented to the vocabularies rather than comprehensions.

The Yable format is really good. Being able to hear conversation and then practice with games is really loosening up my ear and my tongue for Espanol!

I like the videos and the games. Sometimes I find the assessment a little harsh on the video games -esp the hard one where you have to write a whole passage. It can be a bit disheartening when you make a simple mistake and only get awarded 1 star.

It is a fantastic learning resource for Italian in particular. I suspect that the driving force that makes the Italian version so productive and interesting is Marika who curates it with real flair. The only drawback is that it seems to be aimed only at the American market, with many of the translations being in American slang, which has little meaning in the UK.

Yabla is the most holistic, authentic, pleasurable experience - not for just learning language, but for just enjoying humanity. Yes, I want to learn Spanish, but what I found most incredible about the site was that the videos were so good, the people were so real, you really experienced the culture! It's real people sharing their lives with you.

Also, the tools are incredible. They've done a wonderful job with their different games, designed to really teach you the language at top speed. And, it's really fun!

Thanks,

I've tried various methods of learning languages since I was eight (tried to memorize all the words in a Russian dictionary -- Didn't work.) Everyone learns foreign languages in different ways. The key is to keep in contact with the language over years. Yabla makes this fairly easy, it's fun, and exercises the four modes of hearing, speaking (to a degree) reading and writing. What makes this method standout is that it reduces the tedium of practice and doesn't require large blocks of time. Ten minutes at a time a few times a day will likely do more good than an hour of traditional language instruction. Easy to use and a real bargain. Best used in conjunction with other language-learning tools -- like living with a native-speaker.

Aula Azul increased my Spanish incredibly in the 2 weeks of immersion classes I recently took. By only speaking Spanish to me I had to learn very quickly. But I could do it! They were very patient and the school had a wonderful way of being a social experience as well. I highly recommend Aula Azul to anyone eager to learn Spanish in San Sebastián.

I think the program is great. My ability to understand the language leaves much to be desired. But, I go to Mexico in January so I have almost three months to attempt to improve. Then I will resign until next year.

It has given me motive to learn Spanish and French in a learning environment.

A valuable resource for learning Italian. The English is becoming too americanised.

Marika is a star.
