I have a typical Asian hair, a little frizzy and dry at the end This is my first time using a shampoo bar. I was skeptic about it at first. after using approx. 2 mths
I can see results! Though I don’t see any difference in length (maybe cause I stare it at everyday) but hair texture feels different feels soft, my ends doesn’t look as dry as before
Though I really wish it was slightly scented, maybe a refreshing scent?Wishful thoughts
Anyways! One of the best shampoo bar ever! Will recommend to my friends! (Provided they don’t mind using a bar)

I'm very satisfied by the shampoo and conditioner. It's very delicate on my hair and I can feel the effect of the genuine natural ingredients. I hope this shampoo will make my hair stronger because of my alopecia. I was just a bit disappointed by the dimension of the bars, I was expecting something bigger for the price proposed.

I am very happy with the Shampoo but the Conditioner bar fell apart with the first usage and I now have it in a jar.
After using both products, I must admit that my hair felt Wonderful.
Appity about the Conditioning bar.

After my first wash using Yao shampoo bar, I was completely amazed! My hair looks so shinny and it feels so soft on my hand. I was brushing my hair with a *O* expression on my face. Definitely will always use this.

Lovely product and easy to use on long, fine hair. leaves weightless feeling and great hydration

I bought the shampoo and it is amazing. I used to have dandruff problems using regular shampoo and thank to this product I don´t have it anymore. Really good!

Shampoo is great! Only in one use you could see the difference. Easy to use and perfect if you are a traveler, not need to check it in. Conditioner is also good, makes my hair smooth. Love it! It was my first time using this kind of product and I'll definitely recommend it! The staff are really nice and patient!

I'm really happy I discovered Yao Secret. I do think it is a bit expensive, for a student's budget especially, but so far I've had great results from the shampoo and conditioner bar. The conditioner one is a little bit more difficult to use because I find only a little product seems to come off when you rub it between your hands with warm water, and it quickly crumbles. However my hair becomes really clean, soft and shiny so I love them nonetheless. I also really love the idea of supporting such a local small business, with a beautiful cultural tradition.

Just amazing!! I’ve been using these bars for a couple of months and the difference in my hair is REAL! It’s so soft and healthy! Hands down the best hair products I’ve used!

Ive been trying several shampoo bars for the last few years and it felt like my hair was never clean or vibrant like it used to be with liquid shampoo. Finding Yao was a blessing my hair is happy again and even better results than liquid shampoo.

I love this products! My hair is silky shining and after a month I noticed already that it got thicker.. I ordered again the shampoo and the conditioner. You just have to be patient, because the shipping took 3 weeks…

From the first time I used the shampoo and conditioner, the change was immediate. Removes excess oil from the scalp and leaves hair soft for several days. It's been 4 days and my hair still looks and feels clean. I recommend it 100%

Just received my bars last week and it was my first time using shampoo bars so I didn't really know what to expect.
I have to say the shampoo was really gentle on my scalp and the conditioner bar did a really good job of detangling my hair.
It came with a foaming net which made the bars super easy to use and is really handy for traveling.
I have wavy, colour treated hair which usually tends to be on the dry side, but not anymore!
For now my hair feels smooth and moisturized so I think I'll stick with the bars and continue to observe the results. :)

The shampoo bar i have no complaints with, it left my hair nice and soft. But the conditioner bar was a waste of money. It did not lather at all, no matter how much water I ran it under, none of the product would come off on my hands or hair. It then broke in half when I tried again the next day and after that its just crumbled apart and completely unusable. Very disappointed considering how much it cost.

Adding an edit as I cannot reply to their response. The conditioner bar still broke apart and crumbled down to nothing... none of the product came off on my hair at all so unfortunately I still stand by the fact that it didn't do what it should

I would not recommend this product. Not only did it not improve the quality of my hair but it didn’t even wash or condition it well. The shampoo bar barely made enough lather for me to actually feel like it was cleaning my hair and the conditioner didn’t work well either. The conditioner bar crumbled as soon as I touched it and left clumps of un-dissolved conditioner all through my hair. After I dried my hair it was limp and greasy looking on the top and dry at the ends. Despite this I kept using for a couple of weeks in the hope my hair would adjust however it never delivered any of the promised results. Also I had to keep the crumbs of the conditioner in a jar in order to keep using it as otherwise there would have been nothing left to use.
Update in response to seller: I have no idea what the foaming net you are referring to is I received the two bars of soap in individual boxes and that was it. No nets no instructions.

Amazing product, even came with complimentary mesh bags for efficient storage and use, great packaging and has left my hair the best it’s ever been! I usually use brands such as joico, matrix and kerastase. This surprised me amazingly and for half the price of the more expensive products it’s really worth the money, would 100% recommend this product. And the way this brand supports the indigenous community and works with them has helped solidify that it’s my new go to shampoo and conditioner, don’t get me started of the eco friendly packaging ;)

Received the bars and I used it for two consecutive nights last week and here are my thoughts so far:

I used a foaming net and the shampoo lathers and foam quite well. The foam feels smooth and rich when I used it, and my hair does feel quite clean after wash. Conditioner is rather crumbly, but less so when wet with water. I find the conditioner slightly hard to use, and it also feels like it didn't smooth out my hair to my liking in the shower.

What surprised me though, is after I blow dry my hair - it's actually not as knotty compared to my regular routine, and even when I wake up the next day, my hair feels nice and smooth (it usually tangles quite a bit overnight).

Will continue using the bars and observe long term effects, happy with the products so far.

I absolutely love this shampoo/conditioner. I am very sensitive (I have mast cell activation syndrome) and I did not react at all, which is beyond amazing. It’s made my hair like it was when I was younger - lots of strength and movement. I’m really happy. On top of that, the customer service is really great - kind and friendly people. Thank you so much for bringing this product to us! It is such a relief to have found something that makes my hair even nicer than expensive brands (I’ve tried them all), that’s not full of nasties and at an affordable price.
