Lily at Yes Rentals was extremely helpful when we picked up our rental car. She spent time also helping sort out our phone and directions to our motel. I would certainly recommend Yes Rentsls an Lily to other customers.

Rent here if you want to drive a Toyota from 2012
We rented a small suv and thought from the photo that it would be a Mazda. It was a 2012 Toyota Aqua. It rattled and had no power and is sluggish uphill, it is noisy and luggage space. These are the cars YES rental has!
The one we drove had a damaged passenger window, we had to open it to see out and check traffic coming from the left. So dangerous!
Do not drive this car in snowy or fog conditions, it is a death trap.
The lady said sorry about the condition of the car when we returned it, but honestly they give zero customer service and it’s apparent they’ll never change. Can not recommend this car rental company. Stay away!

The car was great
The car was great, there was no issues with it and we had a great time traveling around Queenstown. The shuttle service is also well appreciated and on time.

A perfect choice during the petrol crisis!
My son and I hired a Toyota Aqua for two weeks leading up to Easter 2026. The cars wasn't in pristine condition but who cares . The hybrid was cheap to hire and amazingly super low on the fuel consumption. Considering the fuel crisis at the moment it was a perfect choice. Thanks to Mai and the team at Yes Rentals in Queenstown for looking after us!
