Lovely little tree. Packaged well and arrived in excellent condition, even though it was 2 days late due to Royal Mail sending it to the wrong sorting office!

I initially reached out to a few Bonsai sellers in the UK as I wanted to replace an ex-tree (one definitely expired and gone to meet his maker). Moreover, I wanted a tree that would look good and live happily in my Tokoname-made vintage pot. I was surprised that even ‘the big names’ in the UK gave pretty short shrift in their responses, all but one; this family-run one!! Needless to say, I gave up on those who seemed to lack interest and who remarkably had no customer service whatsoever, though to be frank they did me a favour, as for all my pernickety questions… nothing was too much trouble for Yorkshire Bonsai! Their patience and advice were second-to-none, answering all my whims and guiding me along, even measuring the tree I had chosen, that is after I had considered a few of their recommendations, and notwithstanding measuring the root ball just to ensure the tree would fit and thrive in my pot (I had sent some photos and measurements re my empty pot). In sum, do not hesitate to contact this seller, as like true Yorkshire folk, they will look after you! They show true knowledge and experience. My tree was packed well and shipped to me, and all this service and product for a very reasonable price. My tree was equally as good, if not better than the photos. It really is a lovely tree with great maturity and structure, and in great shape on arrival. I would have no qualms dealing with Yorkshire Bonsai again. I would leave a no star review if I was able. I ordered a tree as a birthday gift. Issue with delivery and really no help accept I can re order at my cost as the delivery address wasn’t correct. Even when you check the order and delivery & billing are indeed correct. I would re order but they can not confirm a refund depending on the state of the original no fault of my own.
Such poor service. Not what you would expect.

Fantastic service! I was looking for somewhere local to me where I could perhaps visit and choose a beginner style tree as a gift for my husband. I rang the number and spoke to Paul who was really accommodating and advised me to pop down the same afternoon. On meeting Paul and his team it was clear that they all really knew their stuff and I was advised on the best tree to get as a beginner. Paul gave me lots of advice and also gave me a QR code which is sent out with all orders, in order for you to access the care needs for your specific tree. Paul packaged the tree up really well and watered it before wrapping very securely. He also suggested that if my husband needed any advice afterwards, he'd be happy to have a chat with him to advise, and one of his staff, Leaf, also said the same as he lives close by to us. I felt that this was excellent customer service and I felt very well looked after. I gave my husband his tree this morning for his birthday, after buying it on Friday and the soil was still very damp and it hadn't moved in the box at all and was wrapped in cling film to keep it secure and moist. It was also well fastened in with cable ties to stop it from moving around in the box. My husband was really pleased with his gift and is already reading up on how to care for it properly. We opted for a Chinese elm which on Paul's recommendations is ideal for beginners. I would highly recommend this company. They offer a wide selection of trees and having seen their premises, I can guarantee that all the trees are really well looked after and kept in excellent conditions. The customer service is second to none and the team are happy to answer any questions you have. 5 stars for everything! Thanks for the excellent service! And a beautiful bonsai!

The staff communicated really promptly via email and answered all my queries. The offered lots of advice and guidance to help me choose the right bonsai. It arrived with 24 hours, securely packaged and we were so impressed by the tree, it’s beautiful! Staff also offered follow up support if needed. Great service all round and a fantastic bonsai tree.

Yorkshire Bonsai were really well experienced in bonsais and were able to give me alot of advice on how to care for my new tree.
He has stayed in touch when I have queries and my tree is doing great!

Delighted with the trees and the service from this company.
I received a dawn redwood forest earlier this year and unfortunately one of the trees wasn't producing any growth. I contacted the company and they couldn't have been more helpful. They offered sensible, practical advice and kept in contact throughout. When it became clear that the tree in question wasn't going to produce growth they immediately dispatched a lovely replacement that I'll be able to add to the forest when it comes time to repot it.
Genuinely impressed and really looking forward to watching the forest develop in the coming years 👍

I bought a bonsai as a gift for a friend, and although we initially had a problem with it losing all of its leaves, I couldn’t fault the customer service.
I emailed the Yorkshire Bonsai with photos, and they got back to me very quickly with a detailed and reassuring response (thank you Eve). They explained what had most likely caused the problem, gave clear step-by-step advice on how to care for the tree, and invited us to keep in touch with updates if we needed any further help.
We followed their recommendations, and I’m delighted to say the bonsai recovered and is now thriving. It was obvious they genuinely wanted to help rather than just dismiss the issue.
Things don’t always go perfectly with living plants, but what really matters is how a company supports its customers when they need help. In that respect, they were excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Yorkshire Bonsai again and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a quality bonsai backed by outstanding customer service.

I bought the tree as a present for a friend. He absolutely loved it

He said it was really well packed. I was worried as it was the hottest day of the year but it was absolutely fine.

I ordered a beginners Bonsai & tools set for my son's birthday through ebay. I contacted Yorkshire Bonsai to enquire when to expect delivery, I received an email from Eve same day explaining there had been an issue with them receiving the order & unfortunately the type of Bonsai I ordered was no longer in stock. Eve was very apologetic & reassuring & asked what it was that I liked about that particular Bonsai i.e shape & canopy & offered to select me a close equivalent & she would make sure it would be delivered in time. The Bonsai arrived within 48hrs, all items were securely packaged, the tree was supported by sturdy ties, the soil was still moist covered by clingfilm, the tree was in great condition & higher value than the one I had ordered. I would not hesitate to purchase from Yorkshire Bonsai again, it is obvious they care about their products & customer relations.

Bought months ago.. not gonna lie thought id been scammed.. leaves yellowing thought it was dying left a bad trustpilot review but boy was i wrong.it has now been ammended. apologies about that.. trimmed it a couple of times and thrives in sunlight.. just some tlc is all it needed plus probably stressed from moving from you to me

Amazing! I ordered a Brush Cherry and Buddhist Pine for my husband’s birthday and the little bonsai trees are so beautiful! You can tell they have been nurtured with love and care- they are such soulful happy trees- they make us smile. Recently purchased a Chinese Pepper online. Was in super condition and securely packed for transit. It arrived on the delivery date I requested and am thoroughly happy with the tree. Would recommend this company
