Lovely little tree. Packaged well and arrived in excellent condition, even though it was 2 days late due to Royal Mail sending it to the wrong sorting office! Highly recommended 😀

Chinese Elm Bonsai
I ordered a Chinese Elm Bonsai, it arrived carefully packaged so that there was no damage to the tree during transit. The tree is beautiful and the instructions are clear, I’m a beginner so this is very helpful!
I also placed an accidental order and emailed them to cancel that order which they did promptly. It was hassle free and communication from them was great.
Would definitely keep ordering from them in the future.

Well I really cannot fault my visits to Yorkshire Bonsai ! Absolutely first class, friendly, courteous and informative customer service from Paul and Nick - in fact everyone Ive had contact with on the team!
I took my large Ficus for repotting because I was too nervous to do it myself. They gave me lots of advice and guidance on general care, and after a swift guided tour my husband was so impressed (not an easy feat with my Hubby!) that he bought me a small Brush Cherry to come home with ! When I returned 4 days later to collect my tree I was quite overwhelmed with the immediate improvement in it - what a fantastic job they have done! and they gave me additional advice and guidance on how to better care for it moving forward. They even checked out my 3 Acers (which Paul had said I could bring with me) and gave me advice about how to move on with them.
Absolutely Top Class - I'll definietly be revisiting in the future, and checking out the website regularly. Thankyou to Paul and the Yorkshire Bonsai Team - You are Great !

Bonsai lost all its leaves and died within 2 days of arrival and despite following their guidance to revive it they refused to refund or replace

Your bonsai was delivered in healthy condition on 16th December 2025 and we didn’t receive first contact until 5th February 2026. We provided significant support and aftercare guidance once you contacted us, but reaching out sooner may have allowed us to help more effectively.
Unfortunately, environmental factors after delivery can cause rapid decline and are outside of our control.

I’ve now purchased more than one bonsai…
I’ve now purchased more than one bonsai from this company, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience overall.
My original tree arrived in excellent condition, clearly well cared for and thoughtfully packaged. It settled in immediately and is a real pleasure to own — exactly what you hope for when buying a bonsai online.
On a second order, the tree itself was again of great quality, but unfortunately the pot was damaged in transit by the courier. This was clearly not the fault of the seller, and what really stood out was how they handled it.
They responded straight away, were reassuring and knowledgeable, and without hesitation sent a replacement pot, fresh soil, and clear repotting instructions on a 24-hour tracked service so the tree could be dealt with properly.
The quality of the trees, the communication, and the genuine care shown throughout have been outstanding. Buying bonsai isn’t just about the product — it’s about trust and aftercare — and this company excels at both. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will happily buy from them again.

Very pleased
Both times I have ordered from this company I have enjoyed a very easy and fast customer service from ordering to delivery. There was a vast amount of choice of Bondai trees and when I needed accessories they were easy to choose and buy. I will be going back for more Bonsai if I manage to keep this 1st one alive.

go here for your bonsai trees
Decided to buy a little bonsai tree for Mrs xmas present. It arrived on time and perfectly packaged. I'd seen some other sites where the trees that were sent out looked very little like the photo on-line, but this was was perfectly represented and looks great. I separately bought a drip tray that got damaged in transit, but they immediately sent out a replacement.

My mum was so happy with her bonsai. Beautiful healthy tree. Unfortunately, the pot had broken during transit. I emailed the company who swiftly responded, was very apologetic, and sent a new pot straight away, which arrived in pristine condition a couple of days later 😊

Totally amazing service
I have bought my first bonsai and am absolutely delighted with the service I have received. After making my choice and placing orders I was a little worried about it arriving after delivery but the item was so professionally pack it couldn't have
arrived any safer than if I had picked it up myself plus delivery was free . I also had a few questions about future care of my purchase and was helped tremendously by Paul . You could not ask for a more professional service and after care . I will definitely be returning ☺️

loved the chinese pivet but couldn't buy the specific Buddhist pine we wanted on the websites
we loved the chinese privet we bought but originally we wanted to buy the budest pine #1261 as well but for some reason we couldn't pick specific trees. so far We've bought about 6 from here but its the first time we encountered this issue.
