Once the incorrect tiles were identified, we arranged replacements as quickly as possible and did our best to keep you informed throughout the process. Unfortunately, we experienced difficulties obtaining clear updates from the courier, which limited the information we were able to pass on at the time. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we understand how disappointing this must have been while you were waiting for confirmation.

We’ve taken your comments on board and will be raising this with the courier to help prevent similar situations in future. Thank you for your patience — feedback like yours helps us improve our processes.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re pleased to hear the tiles themselves were as described, though we understand your frustration around quantities and needing to place a second order.

From the information available, we believe your order was for the Jardin Rose Mini. While this is a patterned tile, it doesn’t require pattern matching in the traditional sense, as the design is created by rotating the tiles rather than aligning a fixed repeat. Our online calculator works on the assumption of a perfect rectangular space and that offcuts can be reused where possible, which can sometimes result in shortfalls depending on layout, cuts, or installation method.

When using the calculator, there is an option to add 10% for cuts and wastage, which we strongly recommend — particularly for patterned tiles — and further guidance is provided via the explanatory text and our Terms and Conditions. We’re also always happy to help with quantity estimates directly, and customers can contact our estimation team via the Contact Us page if they’d like additional support before ordering.

Delivery charges are set by the courier based on the weight and fragility of tiles, and these costs are passed on directly without any added margin. We appreciate that this can feel disproportionate on smaller follow-up orders, but unfortunately it’s outside our control.
