Seriously?? I am disgusted.
Seriously??? I am disgusted. Can't get a refund when they auto charged me when I am not even using the service! Wrote in to request for refunds immediately after I was charged and got rejected! Was told I can downgrade to free plan (after I paid a full year!). Can't delete my credit card details too!
we pay around $200 a month for few automations
Our business would be so hard without Zapier automations, we use it for automation to send orders updates to our customers, we integrated our Ecwid Store with Gmail, OpenPhone, TextMagic to send order updates to out customer. We have been using Zapier for a year now.
We use it also to filters the orders we get, we integrated Zapier with our Ecwid store and a Google sheet where we listed fraudulent email list to avoid them from processing order on our store.
Thank to Zapier for their services, But hopefully they can reduce the prices, their prices are really harmful for a small business, we pay around $200 a month for few automations.
Stay far away from this company
Stay far away from this company! If you sign up for a paid plan and have issues or decide you don't need the service any longer, they will NOT refund you any amount for any reason. There are several companies that charge less and give you a lot more. Terrible experience with Zapier.
Unfortunately the system isn't working
Unfortunately the system isn't working. But even more unfortunately, they won't cancel my subscription, or work with me on their billing for the next 6 months that I won't be using Zapier.
I wish it was no stars
I wish it was no stars. They are terrible I signed up paid for 1 full year expecting it to work for my CRM. However it does not work on their end I tried to cancel without ever using a Zap they denied my request and refuse to even partial refund me so I am out close to $300 terrible place use a better company then this.
Cancelling is next to impossible and they continue to charge
They charge you if you do not use their product. It is next to impossible to cancel, like a planet fitness membership. Do not recommend, there are better alternatives and options nowadays. Stay clear of Zapier!
Buyer Beware!
Buyer Beware!
I signed up for Zapierâs mid-tier plan to use for my business, and within the first 30 days it was clear the platform did not perform as advertised. The automations didnât work as intended, and when I reached out for a refund, I was denied despite the short timeframe.
Customer service was unhelpful and offered no real solutions. For the price, I expected reliability and support, but instead I was left with wasted time, money, and frustration.
I would strongly recommend exploring other options before committing to Zapier.
Not worth Giving Business to Hustlers
Should be fined for the wat they present subscriptions. Very misleading
Helps with those quick jobs
Disgusting company
Disgusting company, one of our employees thought he signed up for a month but due to the way they present their "offer" he was charged for a year, when we asked for a partial refund the unpleasant and unfriendly customer rep referred us to their "policy document of 2024" where they state they offer absolutely no refunds. The service itself sucks, it is designed to lock you in and then fleece you for everything you got with little fees everywhere. Don't build yourself into this trap and don't reward hostile customer service and no-refund policies. Their deceptive marketing and sales tactics should be investigated and penalised
NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE
I had three accounts at Zapier over the years. I renewed one of them yesterday. They took payment. That payment does not reflect in any of the accounts. Trying to get an answer is not working. Their AI service makes it impossible to reach a human. And since the payment (and monthly renewal) doesn't reflect anywhere, it is impossible to cancel. Once the payment process is cancelled, I will find another solution.
A terrible service with horrendousâŠ
A terrible service with horrendous support. A vendor of our recommended Zapier as an alternative to an API, we then subscribed for a year at a certain rate of Zaps per month. The prices and the number of Zaps are total fiction. Our Zapier Account fires at about 4-6 times the rate it should and in spite of raising numerous tickets - nobody understands why Zapier fires at 5 times the rate it is needed. Which wouldn't be a problem other than the fact that you are billed by the number of Zaps that are fired and the overage rate is well above the subscription rate. Horrendous levels of support.
Whatever the system says you should expect to be paying considerably more. Zapier offered a derisory 20 free Zaps because the system didn't work.
My advice is that this is a short term fix. Pay monthly to test a system or process before investing in the said system or process properly. The system does work, even though the billing is clearly designed to extract more money out of customers than is ever agreed. Always think of it as a short term fix. Support will be non existent after you have paid your subscription.
No cooling off period for annual renewals. Stay away
I originally had to sign up to Zapier in 2024 as the software company I was using were about to do a major update on their systems that required Zapier to perform tasks across to Xero.
This update never went ahead and I was willing to take the $ hit in 2024 for not using the product.
However in 2025, the time I noticed I got charged again was when I checked my bank statement ~$350+ taken out in one hit.
I reached out to Zapier support asking for a refund considering I havenât used their product at all. Their reply sounded like from some AI chatbot:
âThanks for getting in touch. Xxx here from Zapier Support - I'm happy to help today!
While I understand the reason for requesting a refund, our refund policy doesnât allow for refunds in these circumstances.
Your current plan will remain active until the end of your billing cycle on 13th July 2026, and youâll be downgraded to the Free plan immediately afterward.
That said, weâd love to help you make the most of your current plan. If thereâs anything youâve been meaning to set up, weâre here to support you.
Let me know if you have any further questions on this, want to make sure you're all set!â
Some of these tech companies should be run out of business. They should at least have a cooling off period when an annual subscription is paid. Itâs not how we do business in Australia.
Very fun to play with
Very fun to play with, even with the free version there is so much you can do.
Thanks, but no thanks.
Zaps not triggering as they should, ridiculous amount of back and forth with customer support. Only to be asked the equivalent of have I tried turning it off and on again. Also, the canned responses from the customer support were 100% written by AI as they all started in the same way and they "understood my frustrations" and "how important this is for your use case".
After a while they admitted that there is an issue with the Shopify integration or one of the triggers not firing as they should, and told me to wait advising they would work on it and fix it. Now, after a while I get an email update that I can't respond to telling me it's fixed (it's not). Am I'm supposed to have the same 20 back and forth messages with the customer support by creating yet another ticket? The biggest joke is that the email that I responded to was contact@X. Doesn't sound like they want to be contacted if contact@ isn't an email that you can... You know... Contact them with?
No thanks. I'd quite literally spend my time doing anything else at this point. And at least the silver-lining is that I found out early enough that one shouldn't build important business processes around a platform that overpromises - and underdelivers in the worst possible way.
Zapier's software has fallen behindâŠ
Zapier's software has fallen behind their rivals, their pricing has gone through the roof, and their annual billing practices are dishonest.
Disappointed â Charged Without Notice for a Product I Donât Useppointed with my recentâŠ
I was very disappointed with my recent experience. Zapier charged my account even though I havenât used the product in over a year and had no active Zaps. The charge was applied to a credit card that expired last year, which is concerning. I never received any notification or reminder about the renewal, and when I reached out, I was told their policy is no refundsâno flexibility, no willingness to work with me.
As a small business owner, unexpected charges like this matter. I donât use Zapier and have no need for the service, yet I was still charged and denied a refund. I expected better customer service and transparency
not good
not that good. very expensive after 10 runs. imrpove your cost structure so it better
Good concept with LOTS of issues
Zapier is both fantastic and awful. The concept is great, it is much easier and faster to use than some competitors. Some of the functionalities are unique, such as the Chrome extension.
But there are LOTS of issues.
1. BUGS
One day = one bug. Flows timeout, error 500, Tables non available, steps that doesn't work, etc. Yesterday it was the "Zapier webhook" step that didn't want to connect with Openai API.
2. LOGICAL LIMITATIONS
The service has features limitations that are difficult to believe. As an example you can make 2 branches for specific processes, but cannot join them later on.
3. TIME AND BANDWITH LIMITATIONS
There are huge time and bandwith limitations too. There is a 30 sec timeout for steps, including AI calls that makes 20% of my zaps in error. I changed ChatGPT to Claude, which is faster, but get now a 25Ko (!) limit from the Anthropic step by Zapier. That means that it is very difficult to ask AI to make a summary from a simple article !
4. STEPS FOLLOWING AN ERROR ARE PLAYED... AND PAID !
Each time a flow is screwed up by errored steps, the zap doesn't stop and the following succeeded tasks are paid ! That makes this platform ridiculously inefficient and expensive.
5. USELESS AI SUPPORT
The AI assistant is totally useless. Don't use it as it will make lose a lot of time, go directly for the support (which is good by the way) or an external AI.
6. LIMITED TABLE SERVICE
It is good that Zapier has its own table service, similar to Airtable. But the pricing is additional and tables are not really integrated with zaps (btw it is not the same support service).
As examples : 1 you can trigger a zap from a table, pushing a button, but you do it from the zap instead of the table (!), 2) On the table there is no information about what zap is triggered nor its result ("succeeded", "errored", etc.), 3) Therefore you cannot use one zap on several tables.
Even more important, there is no back-up of tables (!!!) or easy way to copy a table with its content. Zapier will recommend that you manually export and reimport in .csv (strange for a company selling you the hype of "automation" !) but it will then change some the structured data of your table (fields order, links, buttons, etc.), and some of the data will be lost, such as link text or trigger button data.
ChÚre, Bugué et Aucun service client.
Coute une fortune pour un service client inexistant et des bug incessant.
Je ne recommande pas du tout.
