This thing is a piece of crap. I was so hopeful that it would help, but it does NOTHING!
I am sitting right next to it watching the mosquitos land on my legs. They should be sued for false advertising.

ZAPPIFY DOES NOT WORK!!! Don't even think about wasting your money. I live out in the country. I've had this zappify on both in the house and outside on our deck. Lots of mosquito's out here. Not one mosquito or nat has flown into it. The base of it is empty. And my dog and I keep getting bit. It's a joke. Waste of money.

Don't waste your money!! Bought a three pack of Zappify Z20 bug zappers after reading good reviews. Very disappointed, one of the units was faulty out of the box with the electric grid shorting out. UV light on all units very weak unless totally dark so won't attract anything. Left two units on all night in a fly infested kitchen, no dead flies in the morning. Useless! Moreover, website said shipping and insurance free, but I was charged an extra £8 for these "services". Expensive mistake all round, would have rated zero if possible.

I found a couple articles that actually listed zapify as a good product to buy. I'm now thinking those are paid for by Zapifu.

when I went to purchase it, it kept taking me to these do you want to add this or that ads and I finally just gave up on it that abandoned it. I got no confirmation email. nothing except about a week later probably or so I got an email saying it was on its way. how the hell did that happen I abandoned the sale?

so I let them know that I did not complete the order and I don't want it but it was sent to my UPS office address so how do you refuse a package when somebody signs for it I don't know.

so now they're telling me I can return it if I pay for shipping and I will lose shipping from when they sent it to me.

what a scam

Ordered 10 days ago but never received shipping/ tracking info.
Wrote to company 3 times with NO resolution.
Asked for refund. No answer.

I wasted my money. Not what I expected. They advertise
refund if not satisfied. They charged me $15.59 restocking fee and I had to pay UPS $17.63 to ship back to them. So since I paid Zappify $83.92 I lost $33.22.
What a rip off. Don't fall for it.

I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF TRYING TO ORDER THIS CRAP. I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO REVIEW MY ORDER BEFORE SUBMITTING. WHEN I HIT THE REVIEW BUTTON INSTEAD OF LETTING ME REVIEW THE ORDER IT BILLED MY CREDIT CARD. AFTER IT CHARGED MY CARD I SAW THIS DECEPTIVE COMPANY WAS C HARGING ME 26.00 IN SHIPPING FROM INSIDE THE US. I CALLED THE COMPANY AND ASKED TO CANCEL THE ORDER BUT WAS TOLD IF I CANCELLED THEY WOULD STILL KEEP 18% OF WHAT MY BILL WAS TO DO SO. I DID THIS THRU PAYPAL AND THEY ALLOWED IT. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DECEPTIVE BUSINESS IF U CAN CALL IT THAT. TELL ANYONE AND EVERYONE U KNOW TO STAY AWAY AND LET EVERYONE THEY KNOW TO DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SLEAZY C OMPAMY. THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE ALSO THE MOST INCOMPETENT OF ALL

I opened my new Zappify Z20 pro, read and followed the instructions and turned it on.
I had mozzies all around me but not a single one went for the device.
I squatted 10 with my hands before throwing it in the bin.
Totally useless and a very expensive light, the 10hr battery life only lasted 45mins without the lamp turned on !
Don't waste your money like I did.

Worked for 20 minutes after first charge out of box, then it died. No charge. $36 down the hole.

Crappy piece of JUNK..DO NOT BUY ONE!!!! Did not kill a single mosquito! Took 15 days to arrive and when I asked for a refund they said I was outside the 14 days (What a joke)! These guys are out to rip people off and are con artists selling plastic crap that doesn’t work.

After receiving the zapper and they don't attract anything really. I even put bait in them. the email is not responding and the phone is "disconnected". - yup, got scammed.
Well - I did find the emails (although no all of them) that they sent me in my spam folder. they are not working withme for the return... hopefully.
WELL .... (12/15/25) they finally got back to me - wth 2 email strings (one saying we haven't heard from you and we're closing the correspondence - yada yada. Finally got 50% refund. Sorry if didn't work out...?

The AI (no one breathing that I have found yet) customer service is pathetic. I have had three bug zappers quit working within one month of getting them (one was a replacement for one of the first four that I purchased). Two of which quit working within one month. After spending weeks and weeks fighting with the "robots" they finally sent me two replacements. One of those stopped working after twenty two days.) Now I am once again fighting with "AI robots" to get this one replaced. It has been going on for over a month now. This company brags about "100 percent customer satisfaction". It is actually "100 % customer dissatisfaction. If you are in the market for a Bug Zapper" please check out the company called Zapper Defenders. I got three of their zapper three months ago and have had no problems with them.

Company sent a canned response and the product is just junk!

I bought one of these a couple of years ago because I was getting bitten to hell by mozzies in an NYC apartment.

Absolutely useless. I did everything you're supposed to, set it up in a dark corner of an already dark bedroom aaaand... not a single mosquito was zapped. They were too busy still feeding on me to bother with this useless thing. I tried placing it nearer to where I was sleeping: same result.

Since moving out of NYC back to the UK (where we're not really troubled by mozzies, but do have other biting insects) it has managed to fry approximately four harmless fruit flies and three tiny moths.

Don't waste your money.

We tried the Zappify bug (mosquito) zapper and it did not kill one mosquito or any other bug! We even serched and bought an attractant and placed it in the bottom of the unit, with absolutely no bugs killed!
DON'T waste your money.
We called customer service and they would not reimburse us do to calling 10 days over the 30 day window. Terrible.

The zappify website says that the powerful uv light attracts mosquitoes. It is a weak uv light. Uv attracts many beneficial insects but It does not attract mosquitoes. Uv is basically sunlight and skeeters are repelled by sunlight. I placed a Zappify 2.0 in a dark mosquito infested room. 24 hours later it killed one mosquito. Also, there is no confirm order option. You hit one button and your money is gone. No refunds. Awful customer service. Total scam.

I bought 4. Does nothing. Catches moths. 1 broke after 3 uses. Total rip off.

POS! Bought 3. Very slow shipping. At full charge they stay on about 6 hours. Takes at least that long to recharge. Have yet to kill their first bug.

The product is a complete fraud....simply does not work AT ALL!....those selling this junk should be prosecuted for the willful larceny they are committing!

We live in South East Queensland where we have a lot of mosquitoes in our sub tropical climate. I ordered two of these over a year ago and tried them in different locations both inside and outside the house and in the back yard during the early evening and they didn’t work at all - not one mosquito was zapped! These lamps only seemed to attract some very tiny bugs, not sure if these were sand flies,while we continued to be eaten by mosquitoes . No dead mosquitos! These were an absolute waste of money and a scam!
