In the past, I've done program migration myself, but I thought I would use Zinstall since it was described as an easy transfer. Wrong! When I completed the migration I couldn't open MS Outlook or MS TEAMS and the printer driver didn't work. Their customer service page cutely says "we love to chat." Wrong. I've been disconnected. When I did get connected wait times between chats were very long. After four hours (and no resolution) I had to move on to my work. I've sent several emails (including the text of the four hour chat) asking when I could reconnect ... with no response (three days later). I'm asking for a refund and disputing the charge.

I purchased a new desktop computer, and was not looking forward to getting information and applications off the old computer and onto the new computer. However, I read reviews of Zinstall and was impressed. I purchased the app, and used it. It worked 100%. I had no applications missed, no documents missed, no key registry settings missed, etc.

This was the easiest I have ever transferred files and programs from an old computer to a new one. It took about 10 minutes to download and set up, then about 9 hours to complete the transfer. I didn't have to do anything but sit back and watch the progress. I did it through my router, so no cables to hook up. I highly recommend this product.

Could never get software to run properly. Called numerous times and never got thru to anyone but an operator who was supposedly leaving messages for an urgent call back but that call never came.

Will be disputing charge with AMEX and calling Better Business Bureau to file a complaint. Bogus company. Operators don't care and actually tell you to buy another product.

The software was easy to setup and the program worked fine. My transfer took a little longer because the program actually transferred movie videos for me as well as programs and data.
Other than having to use my passwords to sign-on which were not saved my transfer was seamless.

I'm retired now, but when working, if I had a computer issue I couldn't solve I'd get help from my boss. 9 out of 10 times he would tell me it was a PICNIC issue...Problem In Chair Not In Computer. Now, 12 years later after hours of trying unsuccessfully to transfer files and programs to my new desktop I knew I needed help. I found Zinstall, liked what I read, and downloaded the program. Very easy to use and years of info from my old laptop was transferred without any issues. It was worth the cost.

The installation was simple and straightforward. The process was completed under an hour and when the new laptop turned on it looked identical to my old laptop. All the important programs came over with no problem. I had a couple really old programs that required me to purchase current versions but that was a minor cost and inconvenience. I was skeptical this would work but amazed how simple and easy this was. Most tech places will only transfer files not programs do this is a godsend. Thank You!

I have migrated PC manually over the years but I haven’t ever used a product like Zinstall before now. It worked flawlessly for me. It moved my files and programs. I am very impressed and would recommend it to my friends.

This is my go to program whenever I purchase another computer to replace any of my existing ones and just want to transfer everything “lock, stock, and barrel” as the saying goes. This time it was from Win 10 Pro to Win 11 Pro. It was practically seamless with just the usual updating of programs and the like.

Win 10 to Win11. program keep crashing was told by tech support that I had to remove all security software from old computer. unfortunately for me I keep running the program and each time it transferred parts of the data from my old computer. In the Documents folder on the new Win11 computer it created enormous amount of symlinks (i have never encounterd those before. Should have just done it the old fashion way and just copy files from one to the other and reinstall programs. would not recommend this program to anyone. Asked company for refund months ago, haven't heard from them since.

Its crazy easy. I just install the app on the two computers the old and the new. Used my wifi cause its powerfull. I paid for assistance but did not need it. I am an old woman and everything was working on its own nothing to do. It was perfect and easy. Love that tool all my files and all my apps are on the new computer. Its really impressive. I wish I had found this site to read all of the negative reviews before I got sucked in. I went with Zinstall because my husband had a flawless conversion from a Win10 laptop to a new Win11 one. Why would I question it? My experience was the opposite. It took me 2.5 weeks of poor/insulting/nonexistent customer support before I gave up and bought a different product for 1/3 the price. I pestered them for a refund and was ghosted (I was actually hung up on once and phone not answered another time) or told they would send my case to another dept. I finally got my bank involved and within a short time I received a credit for the full amount I paid. Never heard a word from the company. Stay away!

Needed to do a data transfer from an old laptop to a new one. Absolutely worth every penny as there were way too many programs and settings on the old computer that I didn’t want to manually enter all over again. It worked just as they advertised. Took some hours because I used the WiFi transfer but I I didn’t mind the wait. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Anytime you move all of your files, apps, etc. from one dependable desktop to a more modern version, you worry about the ease and completeness of the process. I found Zinstall on Facebook and after some research determined it was one of the two best tools. I was not disappointed at all. The process was easy and even though it took time, the process did everything I hoped. I logged into my new desktop and it was just like nothing changed. So, based on my experience, I can unconditionally recommed Zinstall.

The Company makes everything very easy to use. I thought the cost of the product was secondary to the benefits I achieved. I would recommend Zinstall to anyone that doesn't want the time-consuming process of rebuilding your entire portfolio.

I've used the software twice in the last few years, and it was the perfect solution to what I was looking for both times.

I needed a backup computer in case my primary computer failed, and found a machine that was the same brand, with similar (but not exactly the same) hardware.

After the Zinstall, I loaded a recent backup file from my original to the new device. I did have to manually adjust and update a few simple settings, but was able to essentially replicate my original computer…very happy with the result.

It was a stretch to give them one star. Transfer from a Window 11 PC to a new one looked good at first. Then I realized folders transferred but not the files inside. Icons were missing. Office 365 files had issues opening. Big issue is if you have a problem SUPPORT DOES NOT EXIST. I'm on day 6 with no support and 2 cases opened twice. Now I see a micro requirement to complete a Case Opening Form when I already have 2 case numbers. also, printer didn't connect.

This program did exactly what it said it would do - not a common experience these days. Process for transferring from one laptop to another was amazingly painless and I was floored by how things came over unscathed. Highly recommend.

I own a small company and needed to purchase a new laptop, I saw the ad on facebook and decided to try, I am not a tech savy person, instructions were easy to follow, the entire procedure was flawless, I choose to do the transfer using wifi, the next morning my new computer was ready to use, my biggest concern was transferring quick books, it did it no problems i highly recommend Zinstall

Took a couple of days to transfer all the files but it made a perfect clone of my old computer and I was up and running as soon as I booted up. Easiest transfer I've ever done.
