ZipPay is one of the most unethical…
ZipPay is one of the most unethical financial providers ever. We are currently experiencing financial hardship and only had $300 left in our bank account. Zip took nearly everything in our account, leaving us only $5 to eat for the next 9 days! They also took the last $50 I had to eat in another instance, leaving us destitute. They worst part was that these were unauthorised charges that are taken out of your account at anytime, without notice. They also automatically reduce your credit limit without warning, making you pay the immediate outstanding balance. This can put you into more financial hardship because you suddenly owe a lump sum and your account is frozen. They just take what they want and have NO sense of empathy. DO NOT do any business with this company. They will kick you when you are already down!

Doubled Repayments without Notice
This month Zip.Co has changed repayment schedules and have Doubled the amount they are taking via Direct Debit without notification to customers. Zip Customer service argue this was communicated in March but it was not, changes were communicted but no mention of this change. This preditory behaviour in an uncertian economy is not only concerning but debilitating to customers. I have lost trust in this company to do the right thing.

Too many issues
Don't assist with unknown transactions. Closing an account they make the monetary balance just off by a few cents so that you cant close the account yourself.
There was additional payment taken from my bank account for my fully paid up to date Zip money account for no reason and has still not been deposited into my account after week's of trying to sort all these issues out.

They kept asking for money and I knew I had finished paying off the frig. It was $400 and I paid 4 $100 payments on time. They asked for more so no more money in the account and I blocked them. Not fair if you are a struggling Aussie and facing these leeches!!

I am disgusted and on the war path..i have an agreement in writing with zip to pay back a certain amount...last sunday $80 was taken unlawfully and refunded and atleast another $250 was deducted in the last few days outside of the agreement. I have sent several emails and tried to call several times but cant get through and nobody is responding..this is theft ..do i need to go to the police to make a formal complaint?..refund this money immediately or ill close all accounts and cards so zip dont get a cent. And these idiots reply on trust pilot they want to get my payments right and to click on the link..how about you check the multiple complaints and emails ive submitted first before you ask me to click on that link..and the link you asked me to click on doesnt open...i have just rung and was advised the money stolen would not be refunded as the agreement didnt go through..even though i have it in writing the agreement which you have broken and have already refunded $80 on monday last week..if the agreement didnt go through why refund the first $80?.you are not smart enough to realise that once an agreement is in writing you have to honour it..i have made an offical complaint to AFCA ..they will be in touch and i will be closing all bank accounts and getting new cards and card numbers so you cant steal my money..this is theft and since you keep debiting my card and refused to pay this back i have every right to take steps to stop you from debiting my account unlawfully . I will also be making a police complaint
You will not get a cent now as the money you refused to refund.

Seriously tight and more easily navigated than most banking apps. Your fees are more than reasonable to the point as a ‘credit card’ better used. Keep up the great job.

Ridiculously slow service
Absolutely so slow to reactivate an account. I closed my own account two years ago because I didn’t need it anymore. I wanted to reopen due to very high vet bills for my dog I want to spread out and it’s taken 8 working days so far and still nothing. I have an impeccable credit history. I may as well have gotten a credit card. Insanely slow service.

Zip pay is so much better than Afterpay…
Zip pay is so much better than Afterpay I was a Afterpay user until they started doing dodgy stuff and taking money out way before my deadline! But with Zip pay it’s so much convenience and app is very detailed and easy to use. If you’re still not with Zip you don’t know what you’re missing! Thanks Zip
