Great western road store : amazing!! Took my winter coat in to have the zip replaced and they were able to fix it on site right there and then. Work was so quick they didn’t charge me at all. Will take all my future items there .

Rip off.
€14 to shortens €15 pair of pants.

Extortionate pricing to take up a skirt and widen the waistband....75 euro. Was double the price of the actual skirt. I will not be back.

Zipyard is extremely overpriced. I paid 100 euro for the hem to be taken up and the sleeves. Will not be returning.

They were great that they took two pairs of pants to be taken up on same day service but unfortunately the stitching was terrible and I wore both pants only once and the stitching has unravelled.

Left a skirt into the Zip Yard in Blanchardstown, to have the hem taken up, probably a ten minute job. I was charged €30, the skirt only cost that! Very expensive so I won’t be going there again

I spent eu130 getting various repairs on a rain coat and a couple of bags in Dun Laoghaire 2 weeks ago. As I work, I had my son collect the items. When I wore my raincoat, I noticed that while the hem had been fixed, a hole in the pocket had not been mended. The shop is refusing to complete without the original ticket. I cannot understand this as they recorded everything on their computer. Appalling customer service.

Great service, prices and the dress was done to perfection Always ready when promised. Alterations are accurate and very well done.

I love going to Milena because shes not only fantastic at her job, but she’s so kind and listens to what I want. I’ve had tailors in the past say I should do things a certain way before and ignore what Im saying, and what I want to do, but Milena genuinely listens and finds a way to give you what you want and finds really creative solutions.
No matter how big or small your occasion is, Milena will deliver and her work will be spectacular and flawless! Rest assured Milena has got this! Thank you so much for helping me alternating my dresses.

I recently got my wedding dress altered in the Zipyard in Limerick, and i was beyond thrilled. Leta is a super skilled seamstress and made the whole process really enjoyable. Any idea i had she would make up a sample and show me before going ahead with the alteration. I probably had around 3 fittings in total. I also got my bridesmaid and Mother in laws dress altered here as well. I will be recommending my friends that are future brides to come to Leta in the Zipyard. All the staff were lovely every time we visited. Thank you so much!

Tina at Toton is simply superb! Yet again she surpassed expectation. Took my wife's coat in with what we thought was a difficult repair. Picked it up yesterday and no surprise you could not see the repair. Honestly you couldn't tell there had been a big problem. A big thank you to team Tina - Go team Toton!

Love Zipyard in Swords, such lovely friendly service and fantastic work

My pleated skirt was handed in to be shortened. A text message told me it was ready for collection and had been quality checked. Whoever checked it must have been wearing the wrong glasses. The length was perfect but the pleats at the end had been pressed out. Awful!! Totally unprofessional. Shorter people be warned.

I got a pinafore turned up. Got them to pin and wanted at knee. Looked ok when pinned up. I picked up thinking all done correctly. But not it was under knee other lady pinned up. Went back to get done again. This time o.k But price charged outrageous. Paid 25 euro first time and charge of 27 euro again today. Complained and no good gave 2 Euro off. Had to talk to manager on phone as lady no English. 50 Euro just to take up hem on uniform. Will definitely not go back if this is price. Not very happy rip off. Zip yard Ennis Co Clare

Zipyard - Altrincham.
Needed two lined curtains shortening to match the length of two of the same curtains already hanging. Very happy with the results. Perfectly matched the size to out existing ones and looks well finished. No complaints at all. Will definitely use these again. Took 7 days for the job so not long to wait

Absolutely over the moon with the embroidery done on an item of clothing. Beautiful work, friendly staff and really quick. Definitely will be using again for bespoke embroidery 🌹🎊🌹

I recently had my college graduation dress altered in The zip yard in Athlone by Anne Marie. My dress needed to go down a size and also taken up at the bottom. The skirt has pleats and is asymmetrical so therefore was not an easy job. My dress turned out perfect. I highly recommend the zip yard in athlone. Annemarie also made sure I fitted the dress before I took it home to make sure it was perfect which I really appreciated.

Not very impressed with the cost of alterations by zip yard kilkenny. Very over priced and can cost nearly the same price as the cost of the garment!? Talk about rip off Ireland and you have to wait 2 weeks or more! Found another lady who does alterations at a much more reasonable cost. Needle and Thread friary gardens and would recommend her work.
