I’d give zero stars if I could

I’d give zero stars if I could. Entirely unable to make contact to have business use added to my existing policy. Phone is unanswered. I’ve tried at various times on successive days. “Live chat” couldn’t help me when a response finally received- after a 15 minute wait for reply so not exactly “live”. I did a test call to the option for purchasing a policy and guess what? Phone answered immediately but , of course, unable to help me.
My advice: do NOT waste your money. Buy a policy elsewhere.
I now cannot start my job on Monday.

I have read the rather blasé reply from the AA that I just need to “hold the line”. I have done. For nigh on half an hour. How long do they think it is acceptable to “hold the line”?
I certainly didn’t need to do this when doing a test and getting straight through to the enquiry line for potential purchase!
I repeat my regret at ever giving them my business. I won’t be making that mistake again.

Hey Gillian, you just need to hold the line to speak with an agent, we are a little busier this week due to some system maintenance, the sales team will have been able to transfer you through, but you'd need to hold the line by transfer too. Lines are open 8am-7pm Monday-Friday and 9am-5pm Saturdays.
