You get an on screen valuation which is beyond your wildest dreams. 2-3 days later you receive an email where the valuation has dropped 1.7k. Supply us with some photos and you can get a higher price, so I get the car valeted and washed, looking its best and the valuation drops another couple of hundred.

Your reply would make people think that it was the photos I sent of my car were the reason for the lowered estimate. This is absolutely not the case. The initial estimate was lowered by 1.7k before I even had the chance to take/send the photos and apart from some very slight kerbing of the 2 front wheels, my car is in showroom condition and is very well looked after and serviced. I send you photos of a showroom condition car that has recently been serviced and has new front pads & discs (Alcon's finest at £1400) and the valuation goes down another £300. Someone at your end is playing a wild game.
