Lack of Customer Focus and Unnecessary Pressure Around Payment

I’ve been chasing Swyft Energy since Wednesday of last week to arrange a new boiler installation, and the experience has been far from smooth. Communication has been slow, and I’ve had to follow up repeatedly just to get basic updates.

When payment finally was requested, the notice given was extremely short — almost abrupt — with very little regard for the customer’s ability to prepare or plan. The whole process felt rushed on their side, despite the delays on mine.

What stood out most was the lack of customer focus. Instead of a supportive, service‑driven approach, there was an underlying sense of mistrust, as though customers are assumed to be unreliable when it comes to payment. It doesn’t create a positive or reassuring experience, especially when dealing with something as essential as heating.

Overall, the service felt disjointed and unnecessarily stressful. A more customer‑centred approach — clearer communication, reasonable notice, and a bit of trust — would go a long way.
