Had Solar installed by these guys on the 19th February, 3 weeks later it’s not working at all. Reported to them 7 days ago and they sent me some useless instructions which don’t work and are badly written, which clearly nobody has ever tested. Now can’t even get a return phone call, nobody gives a monkeys. Don’t pay or sign for the work till you’re happy it’s fully working.

I’ve been chasing Swyft Energy since Wednesday of last week to arrange a new boiler installation, and the experience has been far from smooth. Communication has been slow, and I’ve had to follow up repeatedly just to get basic updates.

When payment finally was requested, the notice given was extremely short — almost abrupt — with very little regard for the customer’s ability to prepare or plan. The whole process felt rushed on their side, despite the delays on mine.

What stood out most was the lack of customer focus. Instead of a supportive, service‑driven approach, there was an underlying sense of mistrust, as though customers are assumed to be unreliable when it comes to payment. It doesn’t create a positive or reassuring experience, especially when dealing with something as essential as heating.

Overall, the service felt disjointed and unnecessarily stressful. A more customer‑centred approach — clearer communication, reasonable notice, and a bit of trust — would go a long way.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of all the staff I dealt with. from the initial on line enquiry to the installation of my new system. The office staff Tim and Aoife were brilliant to deal with and very reassuring answering any question I had instantly. I was told that the engineer Ciaran would be out around 08:30 for the day of install. He arrived around 08:20 worked the whole morning without a break until completion of the boiler and system checks at app 14:30. His workmanship was brilliant and very professional. I was very impressed with the SWYFT Energy company.

Good team of people, Did exactly what they said they would do, electricians and installers were polite and gave us all the information and help in setting up the system. Great service and delivered on time with no messing. Highly recommend.

From the initial meeting with Owen in Swift Energy to the installation and commissioning process, I must say everything ran seamlessly and with a smile. Highly professional in every way I can highly recommend Swift Energy for any boiler replacement including service. Well done to Owen and his team 👍

very efficient process to get my solar panels ordered and installed. Really easy to have all the paperwork set-up and grant applied for and the install team were excellent including Rory and Calib the electricians and the roofing team. All very polite and professional and a really clean job done. Couldn't recommend the guys highly enough.....

Just had a new boiler installed with swift energy. I would definitely recommend this company. They are quick,efficient , friendly, good value and they left the area where they worked clean afterward. The whole process from start to finish was easy and stress free.

Signed up with Bord Gais not knowing they had bought Swift energy, so was a little surprised to see so many bad reviews.

I am not sure if being just a small company to now being part of a National brand has made a huge difference, but I suspect it did, as my whole experience from clicking a link on the Bord Gais Web site to the instillation and connection of my panels to the grid was top notch.

I threatened the electricians that my wife would hunt them down if the wiring looked messey in any way, and not only does it look great outside, it is hard to see anything out of place in the attic.

So would I recommend this company? The answer is a yes for sure.

With Donal Enright who was professional, knowledgeable and took the time to clearly explain the entire process, including system design, costs, and expected savings. There were no hidden fees or surprises.
The installation was completed on time, and the crew worked efficiently while keeping everything clean and tidy. The system has been performing exactly as promised, and I’m hoping to see a reduction on my electricity bill.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering switching to solar.

We recently had solar panels installed by Swyft Solar and overall our experience was positive from day one through to the finished product.

From the initial fitting to the final setup, the process was handled well and the end result is something we’re very happy with. Our home has three-phase electricity, which meant different clamps were required than the standard ones to get the system running correctly. This caused some delays and took a few months to fully resolve, but the issue was worked through and completed properly in the end.

Throughout the entire experience, Jessica in the office was outstanding. She was always attentive, listened carefully to any concerns we had, and consistently went out of her way to make sure we felt heard as customers. She did everything she could to ensure we had a good experience and to help move things along when delays arose. Her communication and support made a real difference.

Despite the challenges along the way, we are happy with both the product and service. We would like to give a special thanks to Jessica for all of her efforts as it made the process easier for us.

Appalling experience which is still ongoing. Salesman visited our home and did a site survey.He promised a good deal which in fact was all false and we only realised on the day of installation when it was already too late. We were promised credit to make up for the false sale (which he refused to put in writing)

The Installers damaged property (smashed glass) which we were told would be replaced immediately. We are now 4 months on and I have lost count of how many follow up emails and calls have fallen on deaf ears. Currently at the point of seeking legal advise. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Would never recommend them to anyone!

My solar panels stopped working in Jan 2026. Over a 2 week period, I was unable to get a response from the company by any means. I finally contacted the founders through LinkedIn and got the problem resolved. Service was good up to that point and since.

I’ve had a great experience with this company so far! Setup process was straightforward with clear prices and quick replies whenever I’ve had any questions. Would definitely recommend

What a wonderful experience form start to finish. My husband and I had to get our boiler replaced and Swyft Energy went above and beyond to help us. We would highly recommend them. 5 stars!

4 months into my home solar ownership and couldn’t be happier with my choice.
I chose Swyft based on a number of factors; price, reputation, materials used, experience in the market and aftercare.
Having had multiple conversations with different vendors I decided to go with Swyft.
I went with 12 panels, a 9kwh battery and a Zappi charger. Prices were in line with other competitors but it was the reps that sealed it for me. They weren’t pushy and took the time to explain all options well.

When the time came to complete the job, they were in and out in two, half-days. Roof riggers on day 1, electricians on day 2. There was no faff, they were all very efficient and clean. No mess left behind and they took the time to explain everything in person rather than be handed an instruction manual. (I did get that too!)

4 months on and I’ve had very minimal need for aftercare. Everything just works as it's supposed to. When I did contact them with some clarifying questions, the responses were always timely and courteous.

Would highly recommend.

Really happy I got the pannels in, I've really noticed the saveings on my bills. especially this winter as we built up a credit over the summer to sell back to the grid

I would recommend swyft energy. We had to replace the boiler in our house when we moved in, the old one was broken, outdated and we don’t know a thing about boilers. We got recommended to talk to swyft energy and the process was seamless from. From the start they had the job assessed, priced, booked and their team helped with availing of grants too.

The day of the boiler replacement, their installer arrived early and was very clear in outlining everything that he would be doing so we were aware of the process. He was in and out within the day, took everything with him and left the place immaculate. We had zoned heating installed which made a big difference to the house and we haven’t had a problem.

I’d be happy to recommend swyft and have recommended them to many people in person since working with them.
