My elderly Dad was diagnosed with asbestosis and was advised by his respiratory consultant to make a claim for compensation. He was unsure whether he would be successful and put off by a long drawn out fight. He also wasn’t sure if the effort was going to be worth it financially. He was pleasantly surprised to be told that it would be worth it. We were given a list of solicitors to contact by the asbestos advice charity SARAG. We were soon contacted by Nick Woods who arranged to visit Dad to discuss his claim. Dad immediately clicked with Nick who is down to earth and friendly. As a family we cannot fault Nick’s service and professionalism. He is lovely and a credit to Irwin Mitchell. Dad recently received his payout and has already bought (another) new guitar to add to his collection. He says his next purchase will be a new car but that remains to be seen as he seems content to know he can buy one if he wants one.
