My elderly Dad was diagnosed with asbestosis and was advised by his respiratory consultant to make a claim for compensation. He was unsure whether he would be successful and put off by a long drawn out fight. He also wasn’t sure if the effort was going to be worth it financially. He was pleasantly surprised to be told that it would be worth it. We were given a list of solicitors to contact by the asbestos advice charity SARAG. We decided on Irwin Mitchell as they are well known and respected. From our first contact with them we were dealt with considerately and kindly. We were soon contacted by Nick Woods who arranged to visit Dad to discuss his claim. Dad immediately clicked with Nick who is down to earth and friendly. As a family we cannot fault Nick’s service and professionalism. He is lovely and a credit to Irwin Mitchell. Dad recently received his payout and has already bought (another) new guitar to add to his collection. He says his next purchase will be a new car but that remains to be seen as he seems content to know he can buy one if he wants one.

I ordered a washing machine online from Williams for my elderly father recently. No sooner than completing the purchase did a lovely lady from the store call me to arrange delivery. She thanked me for using them and was very helpful in arranging everything for us. We were contacted on the Saturday prior to the delivery on Monday with a two hour time slot, again a professional and polite staff member. The delivery chaps were also excellent and removed the old washing machine and installed the new one with little fuss and lots of care. I can recommend Williams and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

I did a google search for my elderly Dad for ceramic bread bins and Harts of Stur appeared with a lovely rectangular one in cream and red at a bargain price of £5. I’d looked around previously and prices ranged from £30-£60 which was much more than he wanted to pay. The bread bin is large enough to take a standard large slice loaf. Dad decided to have two as he likes to store cakes and biscuits in one. This bread bin is easy to clean and will last, unlike the previous wooden one which became mouldy in the bottom. Red isn’t everyone’s colour but Dad’s happy and what’s more they match his curtains. Delivered on my chosen day within two days for £4.99, very well packaged. I will definitely use this company again.

JR never disappoints, dispatch and delivery is always super fast and their products are of excellent quality. Tilly tends to go off treats before she’s finished them but not the Lamb Braids, they are a constant in our cupboard. I was greeted with a friendly good morning on entering DFS Rotherham. I was offered help or the option to browse and call for advice if needed, always a good sign, no pushy salespeople here. The choice on display was amazing and the only difficulty was trying to make a choice. Narrowing down my choices to two favourites I then called salesman Richard over. He was very helpful in explaining the sizes available in each style and what worked with my measurements. I was soon able to decide on a Camden two seat sofa and cuddle chair. I couldn’t decide on fabric options and Richard kindly left me to ponder this without standing over me. Richard reappeared and explained everything thoroughly, guarantees etc and payment options. I went for two years interest free credit which was very easy to set up and completed over email/ document sign after leaving the store. Richard was polite, friendly and easy to chat to. All in all a very pleasant experience, can’t wait to get my delivery.

I booked online but didn’t get any confirmation details so had to ring anyway. Staff in office helpful and polite, I asked what time it would arrive on the day and they said they couldn’t give a time. It arrived just before 2pm which I was disappointed with as I’d started dismantling two sheds and a brick barbecue in the morning. I finished loading the skip around 5pm in a thunderstorm. I don’t regularly order skips so maybe I’m being picky and that’s to be expected. The skip was collected the next day not long after I called them. Both skip drivers were nice fellas and did the pick ups/drop offs safely from my drive. I would use the company again.

I ordered the faux fur slider slippers in grey for my daughter and was really pleased I did. The slippers are very good quality and very comfortable ( I had a sneaky try on for size). The grey is a lovely soft grey and will go with different coloured pyjamas. Delivered quickly which is surprising in these times and with Christmas approaching. A bit more expensive than I’d usually pay but worth every penny and the customer service is excellent, communications prompt regarding tracking numbers and progress of my delivery. Well done Totes/isotoner, you are on my Christmas card list from now on.

Astonished at how easy it was to order a divan bed over the phone today. It was a pleasure dealing with Sultan who was efficient, courteous and helpful during the transaction. The system was running a little slow so he offered to call me back once my order was loaded and as promised called back within 5 minutes. I also ordered on finance which was simple and painless, Sultan again called me back once it was approved. Overall it took less than 20 minutes, amazing service! I have a delivery date booked in and cannot wait to receive my new bed. If it is as comfortable as this transaction I should be in for a good nights sleep. Thanks Sultan & Bensons.
