My partner signed-up and they were not happy!

My partner signed-up and said they were not expressly told about the weird and unreasonable cancellation charges, which really annoyed us both.
Soon discovered the food was no better than a supermarket ready meals, and more expensive. Many meals thrown into our food waste bin as they are godawful gunk! Awful.
Customer service is extremely poor; patronising, condescending, obstructive and disrespectful!
Fact; under our UK consumer statutory rights, the consumer has a right to a full refund if the goods are NOT of merchantable quality.
Also; Uk consumers have a right to claim a contract is null and void if the company has provably failed to fulfil the obligations the company entered into.
Don’t let Jane Plan dictators mislead you; if they demand you pay a forfeit for cancelling, and you feel aggrieved over not getting what you signed up for, take them to the Small Claims Court, and sue them for the cancellation charges.
You have consumer rights, and my advice is use them!

We’d like to reassure you that our plans are designed to be as flexible and transparent as possible. We offer a cancel-any-time policy with no cancellation fees. The only consideration is that our longer duration plans are discounted compared to shorter ones, so if a plan is ended early, we simply ask for the difference in price between the plan taken and the shorter duration completed. This is clearly set out in our terms and conditions, and we ensure our practices are fully compliant with UK consumer law.
