I have had a very unfortunate experience with my Green Flag Home and Roadside insurance. My key fob would only open the doors after 5 - 6 attempts, same with the spare. Whilst away from home, I tried to start the car but failed, until I clicked the key fob repeatedly inside my vehicle.
I phoned Green Flag and was told that a technician would call the following morning between 10:00am and 12:00. I then received a call from a man who said my complaint did not qualify for help and that no one would be calling. A little while later I got a text to say that I may get a call within 15 minutes to chat about what has happened, but if I didn't they would let me know the technician's ETA soon. I heard no more but waited in from 10:00am to 12:00 but no one came. I am very disappointed and at 76 I had hoped for some help from my insurance. When I had RAC breakdown cover a few years ago, a technician arrived promptly when the fob failed and replaced the batteries for me.
